Amber did a fantastic job helping us with switching to a new plan and three of us getting new phones (all trade-in). She was very accommodating, very clear about policies, and fun to talk with. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She definitely should become a trainer!! I highly recommend this location. Weve been faithful Verizon customers for over 20 years, and it was definitely the best Verizon experience weve ever had!

Went in at 1030am on 6/6 and had a terrible experience. The second I walked in I noticed no one was in the front and after a bit this short girl with blue/purple hair came out and seemed to be composing herself which was pretty suspicious. She asked what I wanted and I explained I wanted to upgrade my phone and take advantage of a promo which she asked what promo. After explaining, she looked at me dumbfounded as if she wasnt aware of the promotion. I told her I wanted an i phone 12 mini and she stated were out not suggesting anything else. I then asked if she could reach out to another store to see who had them in stock to which she replied I cant and didnt say anything after. I then asked why and she replied I dont know, ask them. At this point, Im already angry and annoyed and her coworker comes out and as were discussing the phone situation he says they have Pro and Max available which I looked at her and asked why she didnt suggest that since they didnt have the mini and she was quiet. I told them to forget it and walked out because I was so upset. From what I gathered, she was possibly fraternizing in the back with the gent and just wanted the interaction over with so they could go back to the boh.Next day I went in was much better as they had an employee who was outstanding. She was helpful and personable.

Savannah is the peak of customer service. I had to upgrade to a new phone for the first time in too long and the process intimidated me at first, but Savannah walked me through it and made it all seem easy. She eased my anxieties about costs and new tech, went above and beyond (and infinity and beyond) to help me fully understand the process, and was in general just an absolute stellar person to talk to. Incredibly personable, professional, patient, funny, kind, and has great taste in tattoos and socks. Somebody needs to give her a raise. I wish Savannah was in every store I ever went to and ever will go to. Im glad I went in today just for the joy of having met her.

I walked in to the Verizon store on NE Broadway in Portland andasked about switching my old cell phone to another that my daughter gave me. D J at the counter said my best bet was to switch over to another new cell phone, the Samsung42 G5. It has 4 times more storage than my old phone and a wonderful camera. He gave me a valued customer deal with a 2 year contract. We have been with Verizon a long time but usually we go to Costco;s kiosk. I am glad I went to the store on Broadway and that D J transfered all my information to my new phone so it was all set to use. It has lots of extras that will be nice to check out.

Manager lied to my face, two years after getting my phone I had to pay $150 out of pocket because they turned me over to collections. They are shady, the corporate office called me not to apologize, but to blame me for their incompetence. Surprised by all the positive reviews because they lied to me and scammed me.

I had the best experience at this location! I went in to get the new iPhone 11 and Tyler (I believe) assisted me. The process was so easy from start to finish. He was able to give me credit for my old phone even though it had a cracked screen. Hooked me up with a case/ screen protected and pop socket that only cost me $15 for all three after applying the phone credit! I was in and out within 35 minutes. He made the experience so easy and smooth. Highly recommend this location for all your Verizon needs. Thanks again guys!

I usually dont leave a negative reviews unless it was a truly terrible experience. In short, they would not help my elderly father connect his phone. I tried to convince them to let me connect his phone for him but they insist he go through customer service or the app for which he cant because HIS PHONE DOESNT WORK - I have to do it for him he doesnt feel comfortable leaving the house at 70-something years of age. So not only could my father not get through to customer service but they refuse to help him. Very condescending rep whoever I spoke with at approximately 1:05 p.m. on September 15th. He is a j.erk and he needs to get retrained or they will lose business. After 22 years as a Verizon customer this experience has me on the brink of canceling my subscription.Update* I was able to get my issue resolved by calling a different store & speaking to someone much more courteous & professional who actually contributed to helping my dad connect his phone new phone. Id suggest trying a different verizon store, not this place

Ive been out of a phone for a while now and its actually had a pretty significant impact on my life.Walked in a day or two ago. I think yesterday. Funny thing also, my shoe is going bad and I had no sock on, so I was limping a bit as it cut into the back of my foot. Im not sure if this impacted anything.The lady with bad teeth that was working their immediately started to act passive aggressive like I shouldnt be there right when I stepped in she immediately acted as though I should be living, talking across the room asking something along the lines did you want something?.So I head up to the counter like a regular customer.I dont see anything wrong with that, yet this whole time shes looking at me with her eyes wide with what appeared to me to be this super-pissed condescending look. Im pretty nervous person in general, so this didnt do me any favors. I explained to her that I wanted to get a new phone.She asked me who my carrier is, which would be fine, but she asked me as though I dont know who my carrier is or that I was just doing something wrong.Nervous from how she was acting, I try to tell her Im on some kind of family plan. Ive been to dealers before and theyre usually able to work with this so I thought okay this shouldnt be too big of a deal I can just call my mother and have her authorize me or whatever it is they do. Now Im trying to control myself because she keeps acting passive aggressive and condescending towards me, as though I were a homeless bum she had seen multiple times before and thought I was there to steal.She told me I needed a pin I told her Im not sure if I have the pin or if its my mothers pin or not. Im not sure if Im authorized because I dont remember how this process works. I asked, her can we just call my mother and ask her?She flat out said no then strongly implied that I was committing fraud, which I was not. This is not typical of Verizon retailers in my experience.I left the store, admittedly I did get upset and told her that she was being rude, but I didnt go much further than that.I tried to calm down return to the store and apologize thinking maybe I read her wrong and this was my last chance to get a phone this day so I might as well try.I apologized, but she told me there was already a situation and that she had already told me to leave twice which I dont remember hearing her say. She then treated me like a child and started counting to 3 or she would call the police.Naturally I no longer CAN return to this store.

As always, the experience today was excellent. I bought my new phone the day before yesterday, took it home, and promptly realized how much more wonderfully advanced and complicated it was than my old model. Although I could manage standard functions, it became clear that there was much more to learn. I spent the next day generating a list of questions.I returned to the store today and waited for Bobbie, the staff person I had worked with for the original purchase. As before, Bobbie was extraordinarily helpful, knowledgable, and very pleasant. She was very patient with my lack of technical ability and made sure I knew what I was doing before I left the building.I would give this GoWireless store my highest rating and would recommend that all future customers should ask for Bobbie.

I went in with a phone I had gotten off Amazon, turns out it was not Verizon compatible because of the antennae or something. I was disappointed but then the girls there were SO helpful. Bobby worked with me and not only did I get a new phone but a free tablet AND she went through my detailed account and found ways to save me money so even with the monthly phone payment.... she found a way to make my monthly payment $15 less!! AND when I turned in my old phone I got a 6ft charger and a little thing to put on the back that would make it easy to hold the phone!! IN LOVE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH BOBBY!!!!!!!!

I stopped in the Hollywood store because my cellphone was apparently stolen and I needed to get a replacement. To make a long story short, I could not afford to pay for another phone right now. The gentleman I spoke with, Phillip, told me about the free tablet and that I could text messages with my phone number. If I had my phone, I could make calls with the tablet as well. He was so helpful, taking the time to explain everything and make sure I understood how the tablet works and answering any questions I had. He went above and beyond what most people would do. In fact, I had a not as nice experience at another Verizon store a few days ago. I just wanted to let you know what a great employee you have. Absolute best experience Ive had with Verizon in a long time! Emilie G helped me get a new phone and set up all of my accounts and personal information so that I didnt have to deal with anything else! Shes friendly, kind, patient and was extremely helpful to not only me- but other customers coming into the store. She apparently knows how to multitask very well. She was extremely professional and I would recommend her to anybody!

This is by far the best Verizon store! Emilie G was a rock star when helping me switch from my outdated blackberry- she even went so far as to spend an hour transferring my information while I went to a meeting. I appreciated how thoroughly she explained the charges both for today and for my monthly bill. The staff is friendly and helpful and its a great location- definitely recommend to anyone!

Great customer service! I had a problem that required mulitple visits due to trial and error problem solving (it was my fault; I didnt research enough before trying to switch my phone over from T-Mobile). David patiently helped me throughout the whole ordeal, trying mulitple solutions and waiting on hold for me with VZN hq. He was very professional and helpful even though my problems were frustrating and he was dealing with mulitple other frustrating customers as well. Great job!

Purchased a prepaid plan here on Monday, had the service attendant check that my phone was compatible with the network and was told it was. Couldn’t actually do any of the set up in store, was told to call and do it online... which I found odd given that it’s a service based transaction and you’d expect to leave the store with a functioning cellular device. 48 hours later I still didn’t have network service and the instructions I was provided with didn’t work. Also got charged $10 for a sim which I’ve been advised wasn’t necessary and corporate stores provide them free. Couldn’t get on the network, am $60 out of pocket ($10 sim and $50 for the prepaid plan that they won’t refund on the phone for me either) and ended up at AT&T.

I went in last night to have my cracked screen protector replaced. Not realizing that they closed at 8, I showed up about 10 minutes til close and officially became That Jerk That Everyone Hates wanting service at the last minute. However, Emilie G., the woman who helped me, was extremely courteous and helpful, and even stayed past close to help me submit a warranty claim for my damaged case through the manufacturers website. I was very impressed by her service and attitude and it was definitely the best experience Ive had in a cellphone store. She turned something I was dreading and putting off doing into a genuinely pleasant experience!

Incredibly helpful, patient and insightful staff. Went in because they are pretty much the only store in Portland with the capacity to transfer information between two basic phones. Phil (manager? certainly ought to be...) helped me for maybe a half hour, ran into a few speed bumps and made a few suggestions on how to move ahead. I came back a few hours later as he was about to head out for the day and he stuck around another half hour until, lo and behold, the man made a miracle! Hoping I dont have a need to, but should any phone/Verizon troubles arise, forget corporate, Im going to Phil at GoWireless!

Always ready to help, they will do tech support for your issues even if you didnt buy your phone from them. Very friendly staff, very courteous, and they will let you update all your apps on their in store wi-fi. Further, they will explain what is happening and why it is happening, and help you fix it if you dont like it.

I walked in and there was one person working and a few other customers. No biggie - Ill wait (even though there wasnt so much as a Ill be with you in a few!). As Im waiting, an older couple decides to leave while waiting for some work to be done on their phone. The gentleman behind the counter said no problem; can you write your apple ID password down on a piece of paper for me? and my jaw just about hit the floor. I wanted to warn them to never give your password to anybody, but, they wrote it down. This is to any potential future customers: never, ever give your password to anybody for any reason.OK - Im a little put off by the password thing but its probably not a big deal as I doubt he had any malicious intent. So, eventually its my turn and the conversation went like this:Him: What can I help you with?Me: I would like to purchase a phone.Him (looking confused): ... purchase?Me: Yes, I would like to buy an iPhone x.Him: Well, you could finance it over 24 months.Me: No I would like to just pay for it today.Him: Oh - you cant do that. ESPECIALLY not with iPhones.At this point I told him I would go to the Verizon store and he told me I would probably have to finance it there too (which is totally not true). I also dont know why he said especially not with iPhones. Like - if I were buying an LG he might have let me just purchase it?He was a nice enough fellow, which is why Im giving this place 2 stars. But I would avoid GoWireless if I were you. I certainly wont be returning.
