For many needs this Apple Partner store is a nice alternative to a crowded and or busy Apple Store. I was directed here by Apple‘s website as part of their partner program. I was able to make an appointment online to get my iPhone battery replaced. Covid protocols were good. Staff was very helpful. And the service was prompt with the price competitive.

Convenient location, however, the people who work here are not helpful, and are honestly rude! I walked in and was told nothing could be done for me, they didnt even look at my phone. I was there for 5 minutes. The person helping me was short, rude, and mansplained things to me. I ended up being able to solve my problems myself at home. I definitely wouldnt recommend this store for phone service, the customer service here is terrible!

This is the second time I’ve gone to Simply Mac for a service warranty program with Apple. Yet again, they exceeded my expectations. Jessie was absolutely wonderful. My brother and I had been sharing this MacBook Pro 2016 and it has always been kind of our “crappy” computer, with the screen flickering in and out and the butterfly keyboard problem.. When I took it in, Jessie listened to me talk about the awful experience my brother had with a completely different authorized shop in LA. They lied to my brother and told him it couldn’t be fixed, and he just had terrible customer service, so he didn’t want to deal with it anymore. Anyway, Jessie was very gracious and ran diagnostics and told me he would send it off for the warranties and hopefully if it wasn’t past the purchase date they would do it. Lo and behold, about a week later, it came back to us good as new! Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank y’all so much!

Simply Mac is Simply AWFUL. On April 24th I went in store to order a Mac book for school. Was told by the manager that in order to get the higher RAM and storage they would have to order it. Was informed they would be able to ship it to my home address and it would take about 4 weeks. I expected it to come in around May 23rd before my classes so I was ok with the wait. Today is June 12th and I have still not received it. Every call I make I get hit with the same answers; We dont have any tracking information....we dont know when it was shipped.... I dont have that info, apple doesnt tell us...I cant help you but my manager or associate will call you tomorrow with that information. I have initiated every call and have not once been called back regarding my purchase. I dont usually write reviews but this has been a terrible experience that I would not wish upon anyone. If you plan on ordering a mac from their store, be ready to wait and be left in the dark regarding any information on your purchase. 0/10 customer service.UPDATE: After weeks of confusion and misinformation (Its 06/19/21), they were not able to provide me with any information regarding my purchase. I canceled my purchase and, thanks to the help of the store manager, did receive a timely refund. He agreed that the process for shipping orders is poorly executed and states he is hesitant to offer any customers that purchasing offer. It was a complete waste of time. If you plan on purchasing a mac, I highly suggest you go somewhere else.

I rarely review a place unless Im thoroughly unhappy with the experience. This location seems to have staffing issues. My simple fix was overlooked and was extended by three weeks because they couldnt find a qualified technician to change my display monitor. They may over promise on timeline and price. My repair cost me $950.

I rarely complain but we had such poor customer service I will make an exception. We brought an I-phone in to have the battery replaced yesterday. Offered to pay up front. No, not necessary, well have it ready tomorrow morning. Went back at 2:00 the next day and were told they couldnt work on it without authorization for the $79 charge. Gave them authorization and were told it would be ready in 1/2 an hour. We said wed come back instead of waiting. Came back at 4:15 - they said no one had passed on the authorization so they hadnt started on it yet, but they would do it right then at t would be ready by 4:45. Came back at 5:00. They said they were just putting it back together and it would be ready in a couple of minutes. At 5:30 I followed up and they said theyre just doing the paperwork. At 6:00, as they were closing, they finally had it ready. The person who took the credit card was apologetic and empathetic and said it was inexcusable. I didnt get his name but he gets high marks. I asked if they could do anything. He said the manager was the only one who could decide that. Asked the manager. She said they have to pay the techs, so she couldnt offer a discount. It took four trips to get a battery replaced, and constant misinformation while I waited an extra hour for it to be done. Its not rocket science. Say what you can do and then do it.

I had an EXCELLENT experience working with Simply Mac. I needed a MacBook Pro laptop repaired, and Jesse (sp?) was very clear about my options, presented a timeline for notifications and repair (a timeline that was conservative, as they finished even faster than they predicted). I can only imagine that these guys put up with some horrendously impatient, techno-addicted fiends. Sheesh, give them a break. Theyre gonna get you your fix... Who knows? If youre kind and understanding maybe theyll get it done early for ya.

I brought my MacBookPro in for a battery replacement under a recall from Apple. Everything seemed fine except that I wasnt told in advance that it couldnt be done while I was there. It had to be placed in a queue that would take 2-3 weeks. That is an insane amount of time without a computer, especially for a battery replacement. Its now been 10 weeks and it still isnt done! I have left multiple voicemails and emails and have not received a single response. I have seen occasional updates in the online ticket system, though. I am going to have to report my computer as stolen if this isnt taken care of soon.

Should not have brought my computer in here. Simple Apple keyboard under warrantee repair. They couldn’t do it in store (which is the only reason I went to them) and had to ship to Apple. Should have taken 4-14 days max... Sat for 18 days before they shipped it off (and that was only because I called and asked them for an update). Should have gone somewhere else, or talked to Apple directly.

Charged $80 diagnostic fee to tell me what I already knew and then told me it would be a flat fee of $750 to repair. I decided that I was going to not have the repair done so I went to retrieve me laptop. When the counter person handed me my laptop from their pouch there were no screws for the cover that they removed. The counter person was surprised that the screws were not with my computer and he went back to check with their lead repair person. It turned out that he was in a meeting and a message was sent to him. I waited 45 minutes. No word on where the screws for my laptop were. I finished by talking to support person who told me that lead tech had called in sick. (???) The support person took my name and phone number and said they would call me the next day about my screws. He also told me that I would have to come back in to retrieve the missing screws they couldnt find. Its been 2 weeks and I have not heard back from anyone. In that time I did buy a replacement battery for $65 and replacement screws for $5 and did the job myself. Thank you for wasting my time and money. Lesson learned. My recommendation would be to go directly to Apple and not to this reseller.10/6/2020Its nice to see that there is care by the business regarding these reviews. Cookie cutter Response from the owner asking you to reach out to us directly. I emailed, and still have not heard anything.3/2/20215 month update. Explained I had an appointment & the tone/abrupt nature of the 1st person to talk to me insured that I can wait for service elsewhere from a group that will take time and not make my service feel like a chore.

I had a great experience at this Simply Mac. When I got there for my appointment, I was pretty upset about my computer, and very much in need of guidance. They were both kind and honest with me about what to expect with my computer, and what they would realistically be able to accomplish - my hope was that they could either salvage the computer, or be able to salvage all of the information on it so that I could transfer it to a new laptop. I ended up purchasing a new mac that day (they gave me some info about the different macs available and helped me compare them so I could decide), and they said they would do their best to transfer all of the information from my old mac to the new one. I was sad thinking of the possibility that I might lose some data, but appreciated that they set that expectation with me.Thankfully, after I went to pick up my new mac, I found that all of my information had been transferred (files, passwords in Keychain, etc.), and I was thrilled! The thought of losing my information was very scary, and I learned some important lessons about caring for my device. I am so happy with my new mac and appreciate the positive experience I had. Thank you so much to the kind people working there who helped me!

Simply Mac was a LIFESAVER!! As an online college student thanks to COVID-19, my computer is a necessity. When mine suddenly decided to stop turning on, I was absolutely desperate for a fix. I called apple only to hear that they had no appointments for the foreseeable future (cue panic attack), and then the apple customer service person pointed me to simply Mac. The customer service is unmatched!!! They had me set up for an appointment just three days later, and called me as soon as they knew what was going on. They gave me a very clear price and sent it to be fixed. I was told it could be up to a month before I got my computer back (I mentally prepared to type many essays on my cell phone) but I got a phone call within the next week telling me my computer was done!!! Simply Mac honestly saved the rest of my semester, 100% recommend.

Booked an appointment for my boss to get his MacBook diagnosed, first of all it was the biggest pain to even book an appointment, you cannot get a human being on the phone if you tried, plus when he arrived for his diagnostic they refused to look at it on the spot because they needed to hold it for 4 days (which is ridiculous). It would be great to be able to speak to someone on the phone about how these appointments work before waiting a week to be told nothing.

Unless you are willing to drive to the store don’t expect any communication from the Portland Store. They have poor customer service! I left my Mac desk top a week ago for back up & OS upgrade- said it would only be a few days. It’s been 6 bus days- only message on line is,” in process” I live about 1 hr from store. Their phone line goes to the National call center so no way to call directly. Also this store is way understaffed! Also staff needs management! Businesses that are open are using COVID as an excuse to give poor service and poor staffing- not acceptable!

Jason was so helpful! My screen was broken on my old Macbook and I thought I could come here for a quick fix. Turns out it wasnt a quick fix, it was out of commission, but fortunately I was in good hands. Jason helped me choose a machine that worked for me and was honest & helpful throughout the process. Simply Mac is handling all of Apple’s repair work during the pandemic. That means that they’re buried with a much higher than normal volume. When Apple referred me to Simply Mac for repairs to my iMac, I didn’t know what to expect. But they did a great job of explaining the diagnostic and repair process, giving me confidence in their expertise. I wish I could have had my repair done more quickly (it took two weeks), but I can’t blame Simply Mac given these extraordinary circumstances. I have bought two iPads, Mac Book Pro and several accessories for them including two lightning cables. The store was promoting a life time replacement for these cables, that were significantly more expensive than the other cables. So I bought two. Well one of them went bad. I walked into their store to get a replacement but was told they do not have that cable any longer and I needed to contact the manufacturer. I informed them that the guarantee was offered by them and not the manufacturer. I explained that a similar cable would be acceptable but was told no by the store manager. It’s not the money but the principle, so they have lost me as a customer for life. Don’t believe any thing or promotion they offer to you for making a purchase from Simply Mac.

Ive taken a number of macs here over the years. They got the machines for my business running their fastest and got some malware finally and permanently scrubbed off my personal computer. Since theyre not beholden to using brand-name items (memory cards, etc) it can be quite a bit cheaper than getting the brand-name store to do repairs. Theyre great.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to have my iPhone Xr screen repaired. The day of my appointment I called ahead to find out how long the repair would take. They told me THE SCREENS WERE OUT OF STOCK. They said my options were: drop off my phone and be without it for 1-2 weeks, or cancel my appointment. They couldnt tell me when they would have more screens on-hand and they only order more when they run out entirely. They also said every repair is done on a first come first serve basis. I RESERVED MY APPOINTMENT 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Shouldnt that give them ample time to get the necessary parts on-hand??? Apparently the only way to guarantee a same day repair is to make an appointment, call an hour beforehand to see if the screens are available, and pray to god theyve just recently gotten a new shipment in.

Walked in without an appointment with my aged MacBook pro that was glitchy. Tech was able to do a bunch of diagnostics to figure out what was going on and fix it while I waited. Really great service, super nice staff and a comfortable store to hang out at. They even cleaned my grimy laptop so it sparked like new. If I could give them more that 5 stars, I would!

Ive gone to this store a half-dozen times or so in the past couple years, usually to get a new iPhone charger because I lost mine while traveling--again!--or a phone case. Small things like that.Recently, though, I had to have my iPhone 6s battery replaced. I set up an appointment. They quickly ran the diagnostics, found out that, yes, I did need to replace my battery and then they replaced it. Its not as quick a an operation as one might expect, but they prepared me for that. They told me two hours, but it took them about an hour--maybe a bit less. They set my expectations and they met or exceeded them. Ive found the prices to be reasonable. Any small premium Im paying there is for the ability to make maintenance appointments, the knowledge and skill of the staff, and the calm of the environment.I always appreciate my interactions there.Ill keep going back. As a matter of fact...wheres my charger?

Went in for a simple fix, because let’s be honest... I’m not technically inclined. Had to wait for a little for it to be my turn but once I was helped I realized why. It’s because they take their time and they make sure they give you the best service possible. They were patient and offered many options. I think the mans name was Jeremy, anywho. He was great. Pretty atrocious service! Brought in an iPhone XR for screen repair, in their notes they said the Face ID failed and they had to order a new unit, but what they didnt explain in their notes (that should be readable to the consumer!! like holy cow!!) that a new unit meant a whole new iPhone. Without telling me they sent my old iPhone back with the SIM card in it, leaving me totally unable to transfer my data and use my phone. Now Ive gotta wait a week for my Apple ID to be reset cos I dont have a Mac and Apple will not allow for password reset links to be emailed!It took 4 days but I didnt super mind the wait, what I did mind was having virtually no clarity on what was going on with my phone the entire time, and then I also absolutely minded when they sent my old phone back without checking for a SIM card or waiting for me to transfer settings to the new unit so that I could use it!I realise theyre super slammed with stuff, again I really dont mind having to wait. But they REALLY need to step it up with A) updating repair statuses, B) explaining clearly and in easy-to-understand-terms (for someone who isnt doing Apple product tech!) the status of the repair in question, and C) allowing the client who is utilising their repair services (in a market that leaves us no other choice but to rely on people like the techs here at businesses like SimplyMac) the freedom of being in control of what happens to your repaired devices once they are handed over to SimplyMac. If I had understood that a whole new unit meant a new iPhone I would have asked them to return my old phone immediately so that I could use it!I dont normally leave reviews for stuff, it doesnt seem worth it to mouth off at people who are just doing their job and cant help whats happening for the most part. But this issue was completely within the control of the employees here. The lack of contact and clarity throughout the process is really bad! I worked in IT for three years doing computer repairs (non Apple products), I understand what its like, and these guys REALLY need to step it up! These employees absolutely know that someone needs an old iPhone to transfer data to a new iPhone, they didnt have to send my perfectly working phone to Apple without asking me if there was a SIM card I might need in it (there was!), they could have just waited a day, or two (lord knows I certainly did!). Thats what Im super dissatisfied with. Yall are Apple technicians, yall know how this stuff works better than any of us. Yall didnt need to shaft me! But you did! Never coming back again!

Brought my Mac to the Mac store and they told me I needed to buy a new machine. Apple redirected me to Simply Mac when I called the Apple Care hotline. I was told repeatedly that I would not be charged for a diagnostic at Simply Mac, but when I arrived at my appointment, I was told I would be charged for the diagnostic. Just what Ive come to expect when I dont go directly to the Apple Store.

Their store is clean, comfortable, easy access and they even have parking and validation.Because of where it is located, it is never the zoo or over-the-top experience of the downtown store. I normally recommend small local businesses but this one is definitely not one of those unfortunately they took a repair that should’ve lasted a week and made it into a month one repair due to incompetence in shipping to the wrong repair center when I called them on a weekly basis to check in they reassured me they checked with Apple and everything was on track it was just taking a little longer. After week three I called Apple and track down the computer as I was concerned it was lost after two hours with Apple they finally figured out where simply Mac screwed up unfortunately simply Mac never apologized or took responsibility for their mess up. On two separate occasions I sat on their phone system for over an hour waiting for Someone to answer it after an hour of sitting on hold I physically visit location and confront them about it they told me that their phone system goes down on a regular basis and they have no intention of fixing it I don’t know how they stay in business. If you ever need Apple products go to Apple directly do not use simply Mac one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time

Simply Mac helped me obtain a 2012 MacBook Pro that is in nearly new condition, at a rather reasonable price within my budget. The sales people at the store did not attempt to sell me a newer computer when I communicated what my needs were.I also had one issue with the computer, but this issue was not the fault of Simply Mac. The day after my purchase I was able to bring the computer back to the store & they fixed it right away, within an hour it was ready to go again. Thank you!

Hiding behind the standard Sorry, but I cant help you. Go somewhere else. Not willing to look at the phone despite having had an appointment. Were to busy too see you they said. Youtube shows its a 3 minute 19 second fix. Guess when Apple said theyd replace batteries, they didnt really mean it. Great job, Simply Mac, youve lost another Apple fan. Theres no excuse to treat people like theyre less than dirt.

What a pleasant experience it was to buy my laptop at the Lloyd Center Simply MacStore. The salespeople are helpful and non-condescending. I read the reviews of this location and was nervous to bring my laptop in for a repair. Looking back I can say that the reviews could not have been more wrong. I had a great experience! They had great costumer service. Id also like to note that due to this pandemic I figured theyd be really backed up and that I wouldnt recieve my laptop anytime soon. As a college student, this was concerning but understandable given the circumstances. To my surprise, I quickly recieved it back. I also appreciate the safety measures theyre taking during COVID-19. They allow a limited number of customers in the store at a time and they will enforce this. Hopefully I dont need any repair services anytime soon but if I do, I will be going back to this location. Every one here seemed to be incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely dedicated their full attention to each customer. However I waited a good 30 minutes before I was ever helped. I watched people that walked in way before be helped promptly. No eye contact was ever made with me nor was a slight mention of my presence ever acknowledge. This place wasnt even that busy. I only needed to buy a single cable. I suggest skipping this place and making the trip downtown to the Apple store. At least there you can expect prompt customer service.

Lack of professionalism, seemed more interested in expediting my leaving the store than helping me out.The associate refused to take my issue seriously - didnt even run a diagnostic scan. When my SD card drive has been intermittently not working, he said that doesnt make sense, because it happened to be working when I was in store, despite it not working multiple times at home.I love to support local, but dont waste your time - go downtown.

During this time the staff was wonderful. They answered questions about new products, helped me compare features, and warranties, and religiously got updates on the wait time for the head tech. Once the technician was available he was able to solve every hardware and software issue I had with multiple devices. The level of friendliness, professionalism, and product knowledge of every employee at this store has won a lifelong customer and fan. Thank you all!

I came in with a shattered screen and the pixels, what I thought, ruined. Alex greeted me with a great attitude knowing he could help. He fixed the screen in a couple hours... it was as good as new. I really appreciate his great attitude and being so willing to help my mess-up.

Staff seemed to contradict each other, one said they accept walk-ins when I tried to make a reservation, upon walk-in I was told “No way, we only take reservations” as three employees stood around and one watched Stranger Things on the lobby TV. I then made a reservation and brought the phone in the next week, when I came to pick it up I was told they hadn’t completed any work on it because they hadn’t been able to turn the phone on (battery not functioning was the reason it was brought in and stated in the reservation) and asked if I had received the email they had sent, which I hadn’t because they had my phone. Needless to say, I mailed it into Apple after that and got it back in a few days, no hassle. Skip this game stop owned wanna-be and deal with Apple directly unless you want to waste time ✌🏼

I made an appointment to have a battery replaced on my iPhone and was greeted immediately though I waited maybe 10 minutes to be seen.The service itself was top notch. The service man explained clearly what he would do and then when I picked it up he explained again exactly what he did and why. Besides replacing the battery he changed quite a number of settings that tended to waste battery life. I was very pleased with that interaction.My only complaint was that they said they would call a # I gave them when it was ready but they did not.

I cant speak to how good they are with repairs but from a customer service standpoint they did fantastic. Everyone in the store was very friendly and helpful. Troy specifically. I cant thank him enough. I was there getting my girlfriends antique Macbook looked at and passively joked that her computer was like my old iPhone 4 I keep using and have been having charging issues with. I hate the idea of replacing it. Im not an iPhone fanatic, I just hate cell phones in general. Troy didnt even hesitate, he said, let me see if I can at least clean the charging port They sometimes get corroded. He then disappeared into the back, performed some sort of secret iPhone magic and returned with my phone. He was even kind enough to dig around for an old 30 pin charging cord to test it. It works! Just like new! My girlfriends computer, not so much.

I travel internationally, and needed a repair. I have been to the Beaverton Store and it was great service. When I went to the Portland Store I was told I needed an appointment, to have my MacBookPro checked in for a repair. The store did accommodate me, I was not in a good mood about it. Having to have an appointment, to see if you will take my $$$ is not the best system. Check in devices, take payment for bench fee and diagnostic, Call me back with estimate, ETA, and take payment over phone or online. I return to pick up after repair, and no $$$ needs to change hands and transaction is smoother. On both ends in and out of store fast.

I had my Mac Book Pro battery replaced here. I took it here instead of the Apple store because I have to work on my comp daily and couldnt leave it at a store for more than 4 hours.The manager, Sara, was fantastic. She made the process much easier and understood my limitations and worked around it even though it wasnt necessarily in line with their stores standard process. I know nothing about computers, and she was very patient in explaining how to backup the system and the steps I should take before replacing the battery.I would come here over the Apple Store for any future repairs.

I took my work laptop in to Simply Mac, and they took it away and gave it back a week later completely fixed with several new component parts. It was such a seamless experience. I dont know what more you could ask for. I did pay for AppleCare+ so none of this service cost me a dime. Dont be a cheapskate. Get the extended warranty, and you, too can have your computer troubles magicked away. (Thanks, past Tina, for being smart and getting the extended warranty!)

My husband and purchased new phone cases and screen protectors for ourselves and our two granddaughters in January 2018. We knew we could get things cheaper elsewhere but we liked the convenience of the store putting on the protectors for us and the salesman indicated that they would replace the screen protectors if they were broken at any time in the future. My screen protector is cracked and today when I took it in, the manager told me they stopped doing that. When I explained what I was told he agreed that we would have been told that but the store was no longer doing it.

The name says it - Simple. I walked in, waited less than 5 minutes, obtained the help I needed, honest communication of what was going on with my laptop, and the turnaround was less than 5 business days. The tech guys were wonderful to talk with when it came to explaining to a non-tech person what work will be or can be completed. I will return to SimpleMac if needed.

Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT GO HERE. I dont write reviews often but thought this would be an important one because this place is a joke. I took my Computer in on a Friday after calling over the phone and being told they had my battery in stock. At first I thought I was going to be completely satisfied. Someone names Berry helped and concluded that my computer did need a new battery but unfortunately they actually didnt have it and it would need to be ordered. I explained how the following week I was going out of town for a wedding and needed my computer. He assured me my battery would arrive the next day, Saturday or Monday. I called Saturday afternoon to check and was told that deliveries dont even happen Saturday and to try back Monday. So I try back Monday late afternoon and Im told that the battery is still not there. I ask to talk to Berry and Berry actually tells me that he checked the shipping information and it should be there Tuesday or Wednesday. Extremely frustrated I did ask if it did not arrive if I could get my money back since I paid in Full. He assured me I could and the last thing I said is that I would call the next day and go from there. So I call Tuesday and Im informed my computer is ready for pick up! Yay right.... No. I go in to pick up my computer and Im informed that Berry actually completely forget to order the battery when I came in Friday for my scheduled appointment and since they thought I was going to cancel the order they never even ordered it after realizing they forgot. Not only did they forget but I was completely lied to when asked about why it wasnt there Monday. If I would have known Monday, of course I would have picked up my computer right away and tried somewhere else. Here I am Tuesday after coming in five days prior with no battery, and no problem fixed. I was shocked. They didnt offer a future credit or anything besides ordering a battery at partial cost which didnt help since I was on a flight out to California the next day. Save yourself some trouble and drive to any other Simply Mac!

The technician diagnosed the problem (full disc due to e-mail being store on hard drive and not on Google server) and spent over an hour working on finding a solution. He said it was the first time he had encountered such a problem. In the end he was successful in rectifying the situation, creating much more space on my disc and restoring my documents for use ase-mail attachments. I couldnt be more pleased with his work.

Good service. My 2009 macbook wouldnt boot after OS update. They cloned my drive and reinstalled the OS. It ended up taking Tory almost a week (instead of a day) because of a strange software I/O problem with my drive caused by the faulty update - but they didnt charge me for the service since it took so long, which was reasonable of them. It can be hard to reach technicians by phone sometimes, but Tory was pretty responsive when I was able to get a hold of him.

I could tell I hit the jackpot with Dave Garcia. I noticed many of the other employees asking him for help / advice which confirmed my assumption that he was the go-to guy. Although I originally made my apt. to address issues with an IPad, I ended up learning a lot about my iPhone and options/settings I had no idea about. I felt like I was getting a one on one tutoring session. Time well spent!

I brought my iPhone 7 into this store because people couldn’t hear me unless I was using a headset. They determined that my microphone/receiver was broken. The tech said he could replace my display which would include a new receiver. I dropped the phone off and came back 2 hours later to pick my phone up. The fix didn’t work and the tech had gone home for the day, leaving the new display installed in my phone. They didn’t want to give me my phone back. They said it was in “limbo” and they had to wait on Apple to authorize what they did next. I insisted that I needed my phone back because everything worked except the microphone. I paid 157 dollars (paid for the fix that didn’t fix it) so they would let me have my phone back. They said I had to come back within 48 hours or I’d be on the hook for the new display. I started calling them first thing the next morning. They said they had to wait to be told what to do by Apple. I call back a few hours later and still they have no clue what to do. I started directly calling Apple support and telling them my situation. Apple tech support was calling Simply Mac while I was on hold with them. It was the most annoying process I’ve ever experienced with getting a phone repaired/replaced. Also, because I started dealing with a 3rd party “Apple authorized dealer”, Apple wouldn’t do much to help me either. Simply mac’s solution was for me to mail my phone in and wait days until my phone was received and then a new one would be sent out. If you expect to not have your phone confiscated while Simply Mac figures out what to do, do not go here. I contested the charges on my CC and contacted the manager. The manager basically told me to go pound sand. Simply Mac has the worst call management system ever. You have to keep hitting a button every 10-15 seconds to remain on hold. I will never set foot in this business ever again. Do yourself a favor and go straight to Apple for issues with your device.

Great team!Much better access than Downtown Store, (too big to take time for personal care) and never got the feeling of having to compete with so many customers, more than half an hour to even get to talk about my needs in visiting your brand new facility.My preference is Multnomah Store without even thinnking

I had a somewhat frustrating experience here. I asked for a diagnostics test to make sure that all my USB ports were working. I asked multiple times if anything was going to be changed that would impact the apps that I use, and they assured me that nothing would be impacted. They ended up updating my OS, which has now cost me hundreds of dollars in app updates, some of which have bugs on the new OS. It might have been in the fine print, but I asked multiple times if this was going to happen and they assured me it wouldn’t. Service was friendly, but I probably won’t go back because of this experience.

I had my Macbook battery replaced and when I came to pick it up, they discovered that there had been a miscommunication with the price of the repair but the manager at this location assured me that they would honor the original price that they had quoted to me. Fantastic. They guided me through the process of getting my repair covered by Apple, and I ended up coming away with a new display on my old, out of warranty Macbook for free. It otherwise would have cost $700. Once Apple signed off on the repair, it was a 24 hour turnaround. Really cant say enough good about these folks.

This is where I go for all my computer needs.Recently the staff at Simply Mac did a great job helping me through the process of fixing my older MacBook Pro. I got great advice about what needed to be done and options there were and what it would cost. I was alerted by phone and email of the steps along the way. I walked in and immediately had sales help. Wow! Friendly and helpful, too--none of that superior geek attitude that you get in that all white place with the official logo. I spent $1500 in 10 minutes and was out the door--and happy as a clam as I dont like being made to wait around to give someone my business. This is how you do retail.

Went in two separate times for a battery replacement and never got a call back to bring the phone in to do it. I even got a survey about my experience where I gave a poor score and asked for a manager to contact me and even then wasnt contacted. I gave up and going to a legitimate apple store.

Talked with Matt who tried very hard to assist me. When I was handed over to Sarah the tech she was less than helpful! Didnt even bother to ask us more about our phone issue; she just referred us to the downtown store. Sarah the tech needs a lesson in good customer service! Consumer beware! Avoid Sarah at all costs! You will not receive anything closely related to customer service. This location usually is great at helping customers but Sarah has curbed my interest in returning to the store.
