When visiting the staff seemed indifferent. When calling, questions were met with sarcasm which they may have thought was wit but came across as poor customer service.

Just walked in to purchase vinyl sheet and the guy looks up from his computer, stares at me, then says hello and goes back to his computer. I stare at him after saying hello and then he asks if he can help but it was not in a nice way and I tell him what I want and he then finally gets up and types on his calculator and then tells me an exhorbatant price and I tell him that seems like a lot compared to online and he says well then buy it online....after noting shipping and so on etc. I left imediately. It was the attitude and borderline rudeness that turned me off.

Linoleum City has a great selection of products and prices. Mike and Alex are both incredible to work with, knowledgeable, and work to ensure the best outcome. Ive been very impressed with them every time we work together.

Doing research on flooring so we can replace bathroom floor. Time for new. Customer service informative and attentive to our questions. Well laid out design. Reasonable prices. We have to go back with our choice. Stay tuned.

We bought floor tile for our kitchen and I didn’t measure it correctly. My mistake. When I realized my mistake we had the product for one day. The product was unopened. I called the store and was told he would call and see if he could have the items returned. He called back and told us we could not return the product. We then looked online and found the same product for almost half the price at Home Depot. The sales person was extremely nice but we will never do any business with them again and will not recommend.

I bought sheet of lineoleum for both my bathrooms. I am impressed with the selection and the service I received. Home Depot actually sent me here for the large selection and I am so glad they did!

George at Linoleum City is fantastic. I went to a competitor first a few blocks away, and did not care for their customer service. Linoleum City offered me the same wood floor for cheaper per square foot. I hired a friend who is a general contractor to install my floors, and we had some questions prior to install. George called and talked with the floor manufacturer on more than one occasion to ensure our installation approach was spot on. My house is almost done and it looks beautiful.

Ive been renovation a home that was built in the early 90s on the West Slope. I drive past Home Depot on the way to Linoleum City every time I go to purchase flooring supplies. The reason why is that the folks at Lino City are helpful, educated, well versed in their trade, affordable with a huge selection. I have purchased carpet, linoleum, area rugs and next will be tile for my laundry room upgrade. Ive been seeing the same staff the entire time over the last seven years. They have taken care of everything I need and have always been extremely helpful. Check them out.

We bought a rental property and needed to replace half the flooring in the house. Mike at Linoleum City was extra helpful in helping us decide what cover would work for the two rooms we decided to do. Our kitchen ended up beautiful with the updated linoleum. and then the bathroom counter finally goes with the floor. Thank you again for making my only chore painting. Great work and install.

I called to get an idea of an estimate. I explained to the person answering the phone that Im not able to come in readily due to work but would like to know where to start and the persons exact words are: If you cant find the time to come in then it is a waste of time for us. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They must not lack customers.

I am a very happy woman! I phoned linoleum city in desperation after another contractor left us with a roll of Marmoleum, but failed to get it installed. Their responsiveness was AMAZING. Dave, the installer called within a couple hours and came to our house the next morning at 9:00. By noon that day, I had a quote and the work scheduled in 4 days. Chris, Daves partner, oversaw the two days of work and my new floor turned out beautifully! One week before Thanksgiving and I have a functional kitchen! Dave followed up with a phone call the day after they completed. After so many disappointing contractor experiences, these guys really stand out as the best customer service I have seen.

I redid the main floor in my condo. I went with a luxury vinyl laminate and it looks great. Stands up to the dogs too. Thank you guys for all the information and time you spent with me. I know I can be Picky.

They recommended a guy to install the flooring. The guy messed up. He had to come back over and over. He was not able to fix it, it only got worse. The store said they would work it out. They did not call me back. Also the Marmoleum molds, so beware- due to the natural components it molds, so bath mats that are left damp on bathroom floors will ruin the floor. While this did not happen to me, I was warned by two friends who use bath mats.

We had our floor damaged by a professional cleaner. Linoleum City could have easily sold us on replacing our floors. Instead, let us in a easy technique to fix them, saving us $1000. I wish more businesses showed this level of integrity. Thanks!

Only use this place as a showroom, and buy somewhere else. Customer service needs serious improvements. If you do order supplies, double check the product numbers they write down, as they can transpose easily.

Did not post anywhere but on their door that they were closing on a non holiday day, I drove three hours to pick up my floor only to find out they were closed randomly. They also did not inform us that there are hardly any installers outside of the immediate Portland area. Super frustrating and unfortunate since we had bought flooring from them before.

I had an appt today to have my carpet stretched. They were supposed to show up between 9am-930am. 10am came and still a no show. I then called and talked to Mike; who had initially set up the appt. He told me he would place a call to the guys who were doing the work and that he would get back to me right away. It took this dude almost an hour to call me back. Smh. Then he tells me they are running behind (you think) and they would show up between 1230pm-1pm. When they did come, it turns out that Mike did not communicate clearly to these guys about the initial appt time. Nonetheless, the guys did a great job. Mike had poor customer service skills.

Mike always comes thru!! Great location, parking is easy, prices are awesome, and they have great stock of materials right there at the store!

This place is dedicated to flooring and their huge selection is great. I wanted sheet linoleum and could see all the rolls, and huge selection of Marmoleum, good altetrnative to floating floor fake wood or fake stone, attentive help from a gentleman who was knowledgeable but not a salesman type. Going down to this area or out se 82nd is alot more competitive than Beaverton. Home depot has hardly anything out and Lowes was very limited. I have gone to this place for 30 years.

I was not the buyer but went to give my opinion. They have lots to choose from.
