I bought a new car from Tonkin in 2018. Late in 2020 the car was totaled and I was entitled to a refund of the gap insurance and warranties that were added to my loan. To be honest, I wasn’t even aware that they were adding as many warranties as they added. Now, months after the accident that totaled my car, I am having a terrible time trying to get the refund that is due to me. The apathy of the people I have dealt with at Tonkin is unforgivable and I will never do business with them again. To be clear, I used the Costco auto program to buy the car and the buying process was fine, but what has happened since the car was totaled has been a nightmare and is enough to keep me from ever again buying from Tonkin or recommending them to anyone.

They are aware of the scam and are handling it. please calm down. and you as adults are responsible to double check everything you find on the internet.

We recently purchased an Acura at Ron Tonkin. We had the pleasure of having Samuel Kim as our salesman. He was helping us with our car purchase decision. Our first impression of Samuel was he was very excited to have us as customers and very knowledgeable about automobiles. He was very responsive to us the question and was able to offer experience backed input when needed. Samuel was awesome from the beginning of the car selection process,through the car driving experience.We were very lucky to have Samuel as a car salesman and look forward to being customers for life.

Not writing a review of RT here, but im seeing a lot of complaints based on FB market place. Yes i to saw them but do some due diligence, if it looks to good to be true, guess what it is. Nobody is in business to loose money. The Jeep that is currently tagged to RT in Facebook market place, has corect address though the phone number appears different. If you search the VIN you will see it at dealers in different states as well. the is a scammer on FB, not RT. For reference, no i dont work there, nor have a ever bought a car through any of their branches.

Please respond to the Facebook scam?? Your credibility is on the line. Is it you running the fake ads?

Purchasing my Chevy Suburban was good here, however it was the service after purchase that I was extremely disappointed with in Tonkin. Six months after purchasing my vehicle I received a collections notice. I did not ever receive an invoice from Tonkin so I called them to see why they sent me to collections. After leaving a voicemail and two messages with the receptionist, I never heard back from them to get an explanation of the collections notice. The receptionist told me she was emailing the finance department right away, as well as others at Tonkin so that I could get a follow-up call, she even mentioned that wasn’t “the Tonkin way”...apparently she was wrong. I have since paid the bill from collections as I didn’t want anything going against my good credit rating, but I just wanted to post this for buyers to be aware. Apparently you may have to pay more after signing your contract, and then they are zero help. It was not my fault they calculated my vehicle price incorrectly, yet I had to pay for it six months after the fact. I would definitely not recommend this dealership, and will surely not buy a car from them again.

Had my eyes on a car but couldnt afford what they were asking for it, they told me theyd work it out with us. Went in and they were holding firm at the original price. Wasted my time and their time when they could have been straight in the beginning. They were very polite people though.

Tim & Ray were very helpful in assisting us with our new Fiat. They even let us try the car for the night before buying it! We are very satisfied, and excited to be driving our new Verde Chiaro urban-runabout around town! Thank you for making car buying easy & fun!
