Large variety of old time candy. Also a nice selection of chocolates. The chocolate dipped pretzels coated with either mini Reeses pieces or toffee pieces were really good. The milk chocolate salted caramel were fantastic!!! Owner is a super friendly, welcoming lady

I travel a lot and generally get fudge somewhere each place I go (so Ive had a lot of fudge from many places). I came across Old Port Candy Co. and got the peanut butter oreo fudge. I can confidently say this is the best Ive had and will note this as favorite. Ill be back to get more some day for sure.

This is a cute little candy shop in downtown Portland. Wish their were more options for local and regional candy. Was hoping to find more maple or blueberry candy.

We decided to stop in to the old port candy co. Abby the worker there made us feel so amazing and welcome. First time in the store and It is amazing, amazing candy that are awesome prices. The fudge is amazing, I recommend it they make it all there!! Abby is the best worker ever!!!

Love this store! It is fun to revisit my youth buying clove gum and other old school candy and then having the option to try new things such as chocolate covered potato chips! The shop is clean, food is fresh and fun, and the service is always great. I highly recommend it!

This morning I made my way to the old Port Candy Co. to find one of the nicest workers, Abby. She’s very kind and caring and help my friends and I find the candy we needed and let us sample fudge! It was our first time at the candy store and because of that experience will be definitely coming back very soon. I highly recommend the fudge and candy!

Really, really good fudge! First time I went got the 1/2 lb box with two flavors, this time we opted for the 1 lb with 4 flavors .... So yummy! They have a really great candy selection.

Old fashion candy store. Some cute novelty candies and some tradition candies. I would recommend getting the blueberry milk chocolate. They were delicious.

If you need to satisfy a sweet-tooth crave, go here. They have your favorite candy you never knew ever existed. I recommend the Blueberry products, especially the chocolate covered ones. They have syrup and honey as well. Good Stuff.

Like a kid in a candy shop, this runner loves to treat herself monthly here for some goodies. From jelly beans to fine chocolate, there is something for everyones taste and budget. The fudge can be a bit too sweet but that makes it last longer as you need only a little to be left satisfied. Great place for holiday treats or just a midweek snack. Their chocolate is yummy so if you have a sweet tooth, beware; you may go in for one treatment walk out with way more than intended. :)

I could probably spend hours just breathing the air in this wonderful store. It has beautiful, delicious fudge and whimsical old fashioned candy. I deducted one star only because the prices are high enough and I cant rationalize regular visits.

This is a great candy store. A large selection of any kind of candy that you want. You must really try the fudge. It is wonderful. The staff is well-versed in candies and very helpful and helping you make your selection.

Their Fudge varieties are awesome...just melts in your mouth! The caramels are good too. Was looking forward to trying the Salt water Taffy... was ok..not very sweet(rather plain..if you like that).

Fun stop in the Old Port. Try a Needham a d grab a bag of jelly belly popcorn flavor! Lots of other classic treats.

Lapin and I passed this several times before my persistence finally wore him down! The candy shop sold fresh homemade fudge, along with bulk candy in bins, vintage looking candy, gummies, gum, candy bars and salt water taffy. The cashier was very friendly and patient as the store quickly got filled and she was the only on staff. We could picked up two pounds of fudge which was on the higher side but was a delicious treat. On a side note, they charge .05 - .10 cents per a bag if you need one and the tax rate is 8%.

The staff here are always really nice and helpful, even during the busy holiday season. There’s a pretty great selection of British/non-US candy by the door, which is a treat if you don’t feel like risking melting/breakage with an Amazon order. The bag candy has an even bigger selection, with a lot of gummies I’ve never seen before. And let me not forget to mention the fudge. So much fudge! My only reservation is the price range. It runs a bit high for what it is, but I think a lot of what you’re paying for is the location and experience of a candy shop. It feels like being a kid again, which is exactly the sort of feeling you should get from a candy shop.

I was not prepared for the amount of candy here. Treat yourself like a child and go in with a crisp 20 in your hand and thats it.
