We initially saw this company as a vendor at a chocolate festival here in Portland. Then we saw their location on the drive to my work. The pricing is very good for the quality of chocolate and the selection is fantastic. Its a great trip to go there, ask questions about chocolate and learn chocolate facts. Excellent service, excellent chocolate.

I had a nice visit with the gentleman who works there, I believe he is the owner of the store. I tried the mint chocolate truffle and the peppermint flavor is excellent. I also purchased some chocolate chips and a dark chocolate mint bar. I appreciate that they are purchasing cacao from farmers in Ecuador and creating the chocolate in store with a high quality product.I applaud chocolate stores that create chocolate from bean to bar and have a good quality end product. I highly recommend checking this store out. I hope to visit again before leaving Portland.

Award winning chocolate made in Portland! Theyve got quite some flavors to choose from for their bars, several of which are international award winners; theyve also got truffles and other chocolate/cocoa products. Had a friendly chat with the gentleman working there and I hope Ill come back one day when the cafe and chocolate factory tour reopens.

Excellent chocolate shop! I was surprised I enjoyed this shop as much as I did as I tend to prefer single origin chocolates over fusion bars (chocolate bars with flavors infused), but these were delectable. There are of options to choose from- both in the form of bars as well as truffles and chocolate covered fruits. Kevin was super knowledgeable, extremely friendly and really made the experience stand out from the other chocolate shops I had gone to that same day (I did a self-designed chocolate tour around Portland). It was great to have the opportunity to sample the chocolates in the perfect thin bark slivers so you could get the taste without getting overly full or chocolated out. My personal favorites were the raspberry truffle (one of the top 3 truffles Ive had in my life) and the dark orange chocolate bar. My cousins wife who likes more earthy chocolates loved the Candy Cap Mushroom truffle.

Best chocolate in Portland, hands down. And lots of options: fabulous truffles, perfectly flavored bars (and a variety of plain ones), three different versions of cocoa mix, various chocolate covered fruits, nuts and other delectibles, some gluten- and/or dairy-free selections in each category. Tim pays immaculate attention to making sure the flavor profiles of his ingredients work together and you can taste the difference. Phenomenal. My favorite is the Candy Cap mushroom truffle (mushroom with very high sugar content)--rich, maplely and satisfying. I highly recommend trying it (you wouldnt know it has mushroom in it). But if youre not adventurous, dont worry--they have lots of more-traditional flavors.

Wow this is in the top 2 smoothest bean to bar chocolates Ive ever had. When you can eat a dark bar as smooth as other milk bars you know your are eating excellent chocolate. Each of the bars we tasted was very consistent with the other as far as texture and flavor. Soft, rich, smooth. Even a little smoky on the caramelized white bar. Owner was very helpful and answered a lot of our questions about the process which is fascinating. Creo is definitely doing it right with their chocolate making process. Above and beyond other bean to bar chocolates Ive had.

Amazing (delicious and smooth) chocolate by an even more amazing owner! My mom and I were exploring the neighborhood while waiting for our food truck order and found this gem. We were looking in through the window a little after closing hours when the kind owner let us in to look inside. We came home with truffles, chocolate covered cacao, and a bar only to be blown away by how well crafted everything was (+ they use fair trade cocoa beans from a farm in Ecuador). Not only are we planning on coming back for more chocolate, but we definitely want to take a class post-covid days. 100% recommend!!!
