Best to call ahead for ugali as the 25lb bags sell out very quickly. We picked up fresh chapatis yesterday- yumm! Butcher speaks swahili.

Amazing place! If you are looking for great halal meat (butcher open on Tuesdays). I buy lamb and goat here. They have pita bread, Medjool dates, plenty of spices and tea. The place is very clean. Best of all, everyone who works here is lovely and very willing to talk with you if you have any questions.

Love this place. Been to East Africa a number of times and this place has everything. They even have my favorite brand of Kenyan tea. Very good meat too. Omar is super cool and everyone is really nice. Highly recommended.

Racist against white people.I went in there all smiles, eager to try out a local business within walking distance of my home, trying to support my community. They looked at me like what are YOU doing here?.The only person who was nice to me didnt even work there. Most of them just glowered at me. In fact, I had to ask to be helped three times. When she finally got up, she dragged her feet and acted sullen and resentful. Then she tried to call someone else from the basement to help me but they didnt respond.No one did any of the normal customer service behaviors. No smiles, no greeting me when I came in, no sort of thanking me for my business when I left, nothing one would expect from ANY other business. Just mumbling and low to mid-grade hostility.It was clear that they were trying to discourage me from ever coming back. Well, it worked. I suggest that you stay away as well. If your skin isnt dark enough they dont want you as a customer.
