If you like to poke around at a mishmashof things and hopefully find the perfect bargain, this place is a win-win! You get a great deal, and some deserving person helps to build a house for themselves, that they were approved for! Its a great feel-good experience all the way around!

I tried to donate a bunch of building supplies, NEW plumbing and electrical supplies but the guy said he didnt have room. About 6 boxes worth. I guess Goodwill can sell it, just as easy.

I like the concept of a restore and have shopped at several in New England. This particular one is very neat and organized, but it is the only one that posts signs that all prices are firm, and the one with the highest prices. Many of those prices are very high for used things. There are few bargains here.

Seems like they are raising prices on some things, but still a lot of great deals to be found. And theres nothing more sustainable than second hand. Definitely recommend.

Shopping Restores on coastal Maine provides us with comparisons. Generally, this one has the best selection of highest end used goods. Their prices are fair, and because of limited space, they move merchandise quickly.

Variety of items and helpful staff. My only complaint is the items tend to be barely below retail price and you cant return. Its good for finding misc. Items and cheapparts.

Love love love this place. I hate to walk away from some of their amazing deals but I simply have no place to put all the things I fall in love with in this store.Over time, you could accumulate almost anything you would need to build a house!

I had a very unfortunate experience while dropping off donations at this location earlier today. I had a number of brand new items that were leftover from a recent renovation I did on my home, stuff that I knew the ReStore could make use of.I pulled up to the donation area outside of the ReStore, and made note of the sign that said to press the doorbell for assistance. I chose to unload my donations prior to ringing the bell, as I figured the workers would not want to stand around and watch me unload everything. Just as I was about the ring the bell, the door opened and a worker came out and began berating me. He was an older gentleman with curly gray hair, and made a number of sarcastic comments such as Wow imagine if you had bothered to ring the bell like the sign says.I tried to explain why I had waited, and was met with rolled eyes and more angry comments. I can safely say that I will no longer donate to this ReStore or Habitat for Humanity ever again. Id rather just give away my extra supplies for free to whoever wants them, rather than support an organization that employs jerks like this guy.

I will be going back to habitat for humanity store again, in the near future. Prices are very good for the used products. It is a first come first serve basis. I can only hope, that the next time I return, the item I was thinking about, will be available.
