I had an attempted catalytic converter theft - they didnt get the cat, but did cut a couple of nice slices in my exhaust pipe. These guys welded it for free!!!! Donny was so helpful, and they were quick and so much less of a hassle with insurance, and quotes, and photos and deductible, etc. I so appreciate this!!!

I called around to several shops before finally deciding on Master Muffler for my brake replacement. One shop quoted me an astronomical price for just my front brakes, and another one wouldnt give me a general price range until I dropped my car off at their shop for 1+ hours (and then Id be able to make an appointment). When I called Master Muffler, they took time out of their day to go over all of the potential scenarios, as well as the general price range that Id be looking at for each scenario. I dropped my car off before they opened, and a short while later they called to go over what exactly I needed. My brake replacement was done a few hours later, and the price was extremely and surprisingly reasonable. I will most definitely be using their shop in the future and highly recommend it to anyone else in need!

I needed someone to take a look at my rattling muffler after my son backed over a log. I had a great experience here. He was very friendly, offered free estimates, and since it was just a super quick fix, no charge for that either. Just a no frills local shop. I will definitely be back for any future muffler, brake or suspension needs.

Some SOB had cut my husbands catalytic converter and it was dragging on the ground. This shop was able to get my husband in right away as soon as he called them and they had that thing welded on and out the door in no time flat. Very nice people, too!

They did a great job fixing the manifold leak on my 1973 Ford F-250 PU. Didn’t break any of the bolts while taking them off! They also extended both tail pipes out the back and put on chrome tips. Looks sharp, and sounds like a new truck. I’ve always used master muffler for any of my exhaust needs. I don’t go anywhere else.

So I called them earlier in the day about putting exhaust on my truck and told them I would be in mid afternoon. I got there at 3:40 p.m. and their company closes at 5:00 p.m.. I was really excited to get exhaust on my truck and the person working there, I think was the owner. He Was not motivated to get my exhaust installed said it was pushing it close to closing time. He said it would be $325 for the exhaust and install. I did not want to take my time to come back or go to another shop. So I suggested if you can get it done today $350. It took them 15 minutes they were done well before their shop was even close to closing time. I asked him if he could honor his $325 price and he said no so I asked and if you can meet me in the middle at $335.I should have just left this shop and went to another one to get the proper exhaust without feeling like I had you offer him more money to do the work during his normal business hours. I will never go to this place for work again

Went in for a quote on a muffler delete. The older guy at the front desk looked more than annoyed to have to answer any questions about it and was extremely short with me. Once the car was on the lift, he quoted me 4 and a half plus tips so about $600. For a Y-pipe and some exhaust tips. These are some outrageous prices. For that, I could get a really nice performance exhaust. Other more professional shops quoted me less than $200 with Y-pipe and exhaust tips. Upon this, the shop looks run down and disorganized. For the price and the unfriendly experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I came in to get an estimate for a straight pipe with a resonator and muffler. I told the guy what car, and what I wanted. The guy wasn’t listening at all because he thought I was talking about a different car, and it sounded like he was talking about a muffler delete. I told I him I was just look for a quote for the labor because I’d bring everything in, then he started bring up an analogy about steak. The old guy there doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about, and is rude.

Great shop, took care of a brake issue. Used their services several times, always very happy with the work. They were doing some custom work on a classic cars exhaustsystem. Very picky about their work! Owner of the car was immediately impressed.

After receiving shoddy service at a well known competitor, I brought my truck here to Master Muffler & Brakes. They actually had to do a lot of work to repair the damage to my brakes, but it was well worth it. Their work was excellent, their prices were fair and I didnt have an iota of problems with my brakes afterwards. I find it a pity they dont do other repair work as Id give them my business for sure. On another note, I saw that the owner found a lost dog and kept it there at the shop until it could be reunited with its owner. So great service AND kind to animals. Two thumbs up for these guys.

Wonderful service. Each other time I come here they always have my car up and running in no time. Today I just need to get my hanger replaced on my exhaust. They had my car on rack in 30 seconds and in two minutes I was out of there. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE very friendly also.

My husband called and let whoever he spoke with know exactly what was needing to be done, kind of exhaust, details etc. He was quoted a different price on the phone than in person ($200+ difference). Never stated a starting price, just stated what the total price would be. My husband and I took our car in based on the quote we got. The (older) guy was rude, and didn’t know what he was talking about. He thought the resonators were catalytic converters. Took our business elsewhere for half the price and warranty included.

These guys are super nice. Ive gotten an exhaust system and new cat installed onto my Jeep here and they did a wonderful job. I never have to make an appointment and they have the project done usually in less than 30 minutes. Great prices, warranty and service. I highly recommend them and will keep going back myself.

I had burned through 3 gaskets on a new exhaust. Asked if the could cut out the flanges and weld in a straight pipe in its place. They had me in and out in 10 minutes for a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend.

A couple days before the Thanksgiving holidays and I lost a connector bolt at one of the flanges of my VWs exhaust system. I drove up to the shop, they had it on a rack immediately, repaired the connector, and even spot welded the connection where the pipe goes into the muffler. Out in less than a half an hour and all for half their minimum charge of $40. Quieter than its ever been. These guys were great!

Have used these guys a number of times.Once for an O2 sensor I couldnt get off for the life of me, took them all of 10 mins to remove the old and pop in the new one (which I had already purchased). They didnt even charge me.Next time I needed Exhaust work done I came back. Fair price on a new Cat+installation and was done super fast, without an appointment.Need some work done to another car and wont think twice about bringing back here. Stand-up guys.

I have to admit With my very expensive chromed Rhinehart exhaust off of my Harley, and only having reviews to go on, I had an exceptional experience with Master Muffler. Very professional and I am extremely anal. I was quite impressed and will be using them again!

Ive been here twice. first time they welded a pipe that fell off the bottom of my car for $40, which seemed more than fair. 2nd time they gave me a quote for strut replacement that i cant afford right now and they probably knew i wouldnt be able to afford it based on my car, but they still blew out dust in my brakes and rotated tires for free.edit: i just checked my tires and they were not rotated - at least not the front ones (where the squeaking is.) the kid there lied to me. sigh. also, they quoted $800 for parts and they were $200 on ebay. i asked what if i bought the parts and they said labor would cost more. im guessing they are inflating the price of parts to avoid paying taxes.

Replaced my rusted out exhaust. Good, fast work, decent price, and my ears are appreciating it.

I cannot speak to their repair services, but the prices for tubing and raw materials here are absolutely absurd. You can get the same tubing and mandrel bends this place sells for 1/3 the price elsewhere.

Took my car in about screeching brakes, mechanic told me my newly replaced caliper was a little mal-adjusted when installed, but mentioned it wasnt much of a problem, and would be quite expensive to fix and that it was possible that the arriving wet-climate had something to do with it, and maybe that eventually the caliper would effectively wear in a way that the sound might go away.. Kind of a bummer that I couldnt get rid of the sound, but the guy didnt charge me for the check-out and was pleasant and informative about the whole thing. Definitely trustworthy and honest service, if I have any real problems Im definitely going back. Thanks, guys!-Spence

Took my old truck in a couple years ago after the DEQ couldnt get a reading due to the corroded tailpipe. The guys at Master Muffler had a new muffler and tailpipe on within 30 minutes at a fair price, and they rewelded the Y-pipe at no charge, to be sure it would pass DEQ. Just took the same vehicle in for squealing brakes, they checked it out, and told me the brakes are fine, just needs the rear brakes cleaned and adjusted. Gotta love a shop that doesnt try to sell you stuff you dont need!
