Excellent Service!Every time I have gone to Les Schwab I have gotten speedy service right out the door! I hit a curb and my tire popped away they covered it 100% on warranty and swapped it out and I was on my way. So seamless and convenient. Will come back here for excellent service!
Chris was amazing! We purchased a new commerical truck in Medford, Oregon and on the way home late at night we got a flat, Chris came to the rescue! He got out of bed in the middle of the night to open his shop and service our truck so we could continue home to Washington. He put 4 new back tires on in about an hour. Chris you Rock! Thank you!
Always great service! Removed a nail in my tire in under an hour, at no charge. Highly recommended.
Every time I have come to this les schwab I am impressed. The staff are nice, the place is clean and the mechanics play some great music while they work. It helps with the wait. All of the work Ive had done here, one particular employee had been honest, attentive, kind and keeps me calm when I hear the very high prices of some of the repairs. He is a life saver in this situation. I wont go to any other place unless it is an emergency. Thanks for the hard work!
I had a nail in my time from something that happened last week. I inflated it myself and it held air fine til today- I was planning a trip to the mountains and needed it safe. They fixed it up for free and gave me a good quote if I wanted to replace my tires someday soon since its time- my tires are getting bald and wearing through the tread bigtime. Im so happy I stopped in. I will be a repeat customer here.
Ive had a few bad experiences at Les Schwab locations, other than the North Lombard location - experiences that have resulted in damaged cars, wheels and confidence.Needless to say I was reluctant to try again, but both times I have visited my new local store I have received fantastic service. Each visit Michael has accommodated my needs (bringing wheels as pairs separate (tire switching)) and the service crew has always been diligent about ensuring no damage to the aftermarket wheels (Brian in particular the last visit). Theyre fast, very reasonably priced, always courteous and willing to go the extra step.In an area of interesting tire shops, its nice to have a local tire shop I can count on.
Friendly knowledgeable efficient competent staff. Great place for tires shell accessories and minor car repairs.
I love these guys and they actually run to you like the commercials
Took a little bit but they were able to squeeze me in for a blown tire, thank you
This place is always professional and quick about service. I appreciate this business for the staff they have and their customer service.
Awesome people took my car right in.. took care of my problems.. great guys thank you.
Everyone was quite busy working hard in the high temperature. I would like to suggest...STOP HAVING YOUR EMPLOYEES WEAR WHITE SHIRTS!
Kevin was very helpful and patient. I had a single flat tire on some newish tires that were exclusive to one of their competitors. Rather than trying to sell me a set of new tires that i didn’t need he encouraged me to get a quote for the single tire and save myself some money. Regardless of the outcome, that type of service is noted and appreciated and you’ve gained a customer for life for all my future winter tire purchases, tire rotations, etc. Awesome work, thanks Kevin!
Thanks for reliable and trustworthy service, as always. But we never did receive back the screw that punctured our tire.
This place was super awesome! They got me in quick with no appointment and got a good deal on large size tires. Thanks to Chris who did my alignment, they were having issues with the control arm bushing but they got it done and it drives straight and smooth now.
Great people, very courteous, friendly & efficient. Cudos to Mykal, Chris, & Nick. Will highly recommend to anyone needing tires, brakes, etc.
Great first experience. I came in just for a brake check. I was guided to the right person with kindness and treated with respect by everyone I talked to. They got me in as quickly as possible. I had all my additional questions answered and I wasnt charged since no work needed to be done. I will return.
As I was pulling in today I saw an attendant fill up someone’s bike tire as a quick favor. After patching my rear tire that had a slow leak from a nail, I went to pay, and was told there was no charge and not to worry about it. I was so grateful and surprised. Thanks again for the kindness ya’ll are putting out there. It goes a long way right now.
Love Les Schwab! I always feel so well taken care of
Always helpful. Went to get snow socks and they showed us how to put them on so wed be able to do it if the weather got bad.
Les Schwab and the 5510 N Lombard location in particular gets a five star rating from me for standing behind their work. I took my Sprinter van in to have the steering rack replaced before a cross country trip we were about to take. They worked me in and replaced it in a timely manner. However they were unable to get some of the dash warning lights to go off and told me to take it to the dealer to fix that problem and let them know what was needed to fix it. In taking it to the dealer it turned out the problems were bigger than just the warning lights. There were some mistakes made in replacing the steering rack that the dealer rectified at a cost beyond the rack replacement. When I returned to Les Schwab they said they would present the issue to the home office and I should receive a check for the cost to fix the issue which they did. I am very pleased with the fact that they stood behind their work and reimbursed me for the cost.
Thanks guys 😎
Very helpful and they have complimentary air checks
Les Schwab N Lombard / Pdx. OR. 2/12/21Went for tire chains, they were out of my size. They sold me “Snow SOX” in place of chains. The snow Sox only lasted about 5 hours before one of them was shredded. (I only drove 20 mph & stayed off dry pavement) would not recommend. However, when I went to exchange / return they were still out of my size.I’m giving 5 stars because they honored the warranty (cash back) and only asked if I sped or drove on dry pavement, which I didn’t.Because of their excellent service, I will continue to shop there.T. K.kTHANKS Joe,BTW.. it was probably your busiest Snow Chain Sales day All year.., Understandable that you were out of my size.I’ve been shopping as various Les Schwab stores for years and have always had great experiences.Good customer service has kept me coming back.. year after yearKeep up the great work!
Les swab is the best tire place that I’ve ever seen in the United States the Hobbs family has been doing business with the company for over 50 years .
Great staff here! Always going the extra mile. Our family has been coming to this location for 12+ years and we always get amazing customer service from them.Thank you!
Shout out to Mychal, manager of the North Portland store. My husband got an estimate to replace out rear struts. When he went to pick up the car after the job, the mechanic said, ok, your front struts are done, but you might want to think about replacing the rear ones, lot of noise back there. My husband said, those were the ones you were supposed to do. Michal said no worries well take care of it!Everyone makes mistakes, but we appreciate Michal making it right for us. Les Schwab has always had great customer service. This is just one more reason, we are customers for life!
I dont seem to be having the same problems other people have told me they were having here.Very nice staff. Great work.
I didnt have to wait that long they were courteous and didnt charge me a nickel for my tire that had a screw in it thanks Les Schwab
As always, fast and friendly service, in and out in 20 minutes.
Got two great tires for a reasonable price.Their service never fails
Excellent folks and they give veterans discounts
They are nice friendly staff they allways help me out by fixing my flat tires
Such great customer service!!
I buy all my tires there
Theyve always done good work and there located up the road from my house and their fast would highly recommend them to anyone
I took my car in because a plastic plat on the bottom was dragging. The store was very busy with everyone coming back from COVID and making needed repairs. I was told the wait would likely be about 2 and a half hours, which was understandable given the circumstances. Less than an hour later they gave me a call and had fixed my vehicle by replacing the clip that broke. When I came back they didnt charge me because it was so minor. The staff was courteous and prompt. I will definitely be coming back to give this store my business as they more than earned it yesterday.
It was a fairly short wait time and once they started working on my vehicle they were finished quickly.
Very professional & friendly. Michael Eisner (manager) was great to deal with and the entire staff helped (stopping traffic) to get my tractor-trailer rig off the street for new tires. I highly recommend this location and will stop here again if I ever need tires or tire service while in the Portland vicinity.
Get a second opinion. I brought a vehicle to this location to get a routine alignment. The vehicle had a slight pull to the left that I wanted corrected. After dropping it off and it being there for an hour I got a call to inform me that the camber was too far out of spec to align and that they suggested replacement parts totaling over $500. I rushed to the location and they explained to me that the camber on my front left side was 5 degrees negative and that the opposite side was 2 degrees positive. He presented me with a printout detailing the test. I asked if he ran it twice and he claimed that he had. 5 degrees of negative camber should be pretty visible and I didnt see anything on the vehicle to suggest that it would have such a degree of camber. Moreover, this camber difference side-to-side would logically indicate a pull to the right not a pull to the left.Luckily, Les Schwab did not attempt to charge me because no alignment was performed. I thanked them for their service and proceeded to bring the vehicle to Gills Point S where (telling them nothing of my experience at Les Schwab) they performed an alignment and provided me with a pre and post alignment printout. Their print out revealed that the chamber on both sides was within reasonable specification and that the left toe was in needof correction (a diagnosis which i had presumed before bringing the vehicle in for alignment). At Gills they test drove before my payment and sure enough the car now drives straight and handles great. Go figure.Long story short always get a second or third opinion. People make mistakes and a companies name isnt everything.
I have recently lost everything and I mean everything! My car is all I have left and its the only way I can survive. I went to the Les Schwab on N. Lombard hoping they could help me. I had a few slow leaks and one completely flat tire. Stephanie took my car back knowing that I had no money for repairs and I DONT have Les Schwab tires. An hour later I left with all 3 tires fixed and it didnt cost me a dime! With everything bad happening to me I needed a break and they helped me. I cannot say thank you enough. Theyre life savers. I will be a Les Schwab customer for life. With service like that how can I not? Thank you so much.
If youre upset because your wait time is high, know its because this place is THEE place to bring your car for tire and wheel work in NoPo. Great, friendly staff and prices are completely reasonable! I dont go anywhere else for this type of work.
Dropped a popped tire off to be fixed. Said it would be ready next day. Next day, I stopped by and tire was untouched. Tried to load thenpopped tire into my trunk, and I asked why Im being given my old tire back. They didnt know. Said it would be ready tomorrow. Called four days later (to give them plenty of time over the Juky 4th weekend), was assured it was ready, but it still wasnt. I stopped by to pick up my tire, didnt even get an apology. Wow. Wont be returning.
I went in when the tire pressure light went on in my Subaru. I was told to pull into a bay and the pressure would be checked. I waited and I waited and I waited. Customers were arriving and getting serviced while I waited. Finally...this is Portland after all...I decide to speak up. Guy checks pressure and informs me tire may have leak. So I need to get it fixed. He enters me into the queue and despite having already waited a half hour I had to go to the end of the line after all the customers that arrived after me. Time is money and not just for them. My time is valuable too. Businesses seem to think we are being blessed letting them serve us. The prices are high but I pay it for the service. I expect better.
Not sure Saturday is a good day to have brakes done . . . super busy. Even with an appointment at ten, my truck was not put into a bay until 11:15AM. Then when given the list of parts and a price, I asked how long to finish and was told the parts were in stock and it would take about an hour. Still not done, now 2:30. Finished at 2:45 PM. Did a great job, even gave a discount (did not explain why). Also rotated the tires (no charge). Happy with the work, a bit upset about the time it took.
Most things done right. But didnt put my tools back in the compartment.
This store its the best been in other les schwab and this store have the fastest team.
I love this place. They fixed my tire for free.
Excellent service. Tire pressure light came on. Stopped in. Bryan found a nail in one of my tires and patched it in minutes. All for FREE! Very friendly and professional staff. Will definitely be back for future service to my vehicle.
They always take good care of me !
Courteous very accommodating
Good looking out in the time of need.
Always great service, thanks guys.
Dont go here. Just dont. After two visits I am done. First trip was to get an alignment, paid, left, then returned because the car was still vibrating. Turns out my tires were about to explode because the inside tread was worn through. Good eye, Les.Second trip was simple, just fix a flat in the new tires I bought from them last time I was there. Good thing I was paying attention, because THEY TOOK OFF THE WRONG TIRE. No matter that the flat in question was almost completely flat, and that I told them exactly which tire it was. I had to correct them, and when I did they said they took a look at your tires and it looked low so they thought they would check it. I would accept this as reasonable, except they had the tire completely off the car. I would think that a tire specialist would maybe, I dont know, CHECK THE PRESSURE? The justification and trying to cover up a mistake by lying should be enough to keep you away. You would probably save yourself some time driving elsewhere, not to mention a headache.
They did some front end maintenance and brake job on my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500. They were communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. And they did it quick. I am very happy.
Friendly and helpful.
Had new tires installed in 30 mins
This place is awesome. Old school service, kind and honest. Had a nail in a tire, took it somewhere else and was told I needed to replace 2 tires, took it to Les Schwab and they fixed the tire for free and told me they still had a lot of life left in them.
Always helpful and knowledgable, but you are definitely paying for the great service! very expensive menus, but worth it in the long run, my family has been utilizing their services for years and they have never let us down.
Amazing customer service! Donovan was awesome and even called other stores to see where we could squeeze in last minute! I love people who will go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. Thank you!
Wow, these guys continue to impress me with their quality work and honesty. They are straight forward with diagnostics and only charge for services rendered at a very competitive rate.
Thank you for your kindness and honest service. This location is the bomb. Thank you to Ryan who went out of his way to make sure I understood what was up with my car, and for making sure I was taken care of when the business was slammed on a busy Friday afternoon. You guys rock. Thank you.
Still going here for years and theyre still showing and proving why theyre the best in the business
Always a nice a place but they need to work on their estimated wait time - 2 hours is what I was told - 4 1/2 hours in reality.
Always a great service & shopping experience. Quick turnaround. Knowledgeable staff.
Great service. Stewart and Christian were both very helpful and up front about everything.
I love Les Schwab so much. They are always so fast, so helpful, and they do so much for me just because I bought tires there. I get my tire pressure checked and refilled for free anytime I want. Its a perk for me, because I have no idea how to do that by myself. They are all so nice!
My Les Schwab battery died while my car was in the garage. There was so little power left that I couldnt get the gear out of park into neutral so that I could push the car out of the garage. I called my local Les Schwab dealer and in less than half an hour Doug arrived to fix my problem. And that he did. At no charge. Ive experienced similar extraordinary service like this in the past. That is why I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer for more than 40 years. Bravo and thank you Les Schwab.
Always helpful and works with community. I love how easy it is to get service and is conveniently located in North Portland.
Theyre awesome. You can get cheap tires or amazing performance tires and they have great warranties. My girlfriend bought a car through CarMax and a tire started losing air after the first month of owning it. We took it there and they said the tires were still under warranty and it only cost her $45 to get it changed.
This location has a hard working, knowledgeable set of staff that always give that extra effort. I’ve been to several Les Schwabs in various cities and this location sticks to the tride and true values that Les created when he started Les Schwab!Being a small location there’s a bit of a wait, but your waiting for quality over quantity.
Best tire service in town. Remember that they can get you any tires if you dont mind waiting a few days. They dont stock Michelins but will get them for you. Top notch friendly service.
Pretty frustrated and left after two plus hours of waiting for a tire patch. Was told I was still fifth in line so probably another hour to an hour and a half. Three plus hour wait for a fairly simple procedure. It would be nice if, when youre checked in, they told you what the expected wait time would be; I should have asked and I will from now on. Will probably not return to this location as it seems that other people have had the same experience. Full disclosure can help avoid hard feelings, especially if your business is backed up. Never had this problem in the years that I went to LS in Chico, CA
Found two nail in the tire and they work on them, great service thank you
Always have had good experiences with this location. I have 4 vehicles and have gotten tires for all of them here and alsoSome mechanical work.
I dont understand how Les Schwab can afford to patch leaking tires at no cost to the driver, but he does!
Always fast, friendly and courteous
I had a razor blade and nail in my tires and theu got me back on the road in a flash! They didnt charge me a penny for the service! I will definitely get my next set of tires from them.
Good customer service. Very busy place.
Asked for 3 tires, (I had just bought driver rear for a flat a few months ago at Broadway location) guy went out to look at car quoted me at 295. Great price for 3 tires I said. He rushed past all the pricing on his computer, printed a paper which he kept to himself. 1.5 hours later I paid. He proceeds to tell me he changed my front tires and I need a new passenger rear tire soon. Wait.... what?... I thought I just bought 3 tires?! Now I need to pay another 150 and another half hour. Terrible service and communication. When I calmly let him know, he said oh really and walked away.
Argumentative staff makes the experience a whirlwind - even for a basic tire exchange. For background, my tire blew out on I-5, so I pulled over. The tire was in pretty bad shape since it had blown out on the freeway. The blown out tire was from Les Schwab, and under warranty. When I went to get a new tire exchanged under the warranty at this location, because the tire was in bad shape, I was accused of gaming the system. They told me I had clearly driving on a bad tire for a long period. Once I told them this accusation was baseless, untrue, and explained my tire blowing out on the freeway, I was told they would not help me because I was being difficult.I then spoke to management, and they reluctantly covered the tire exchange under the warranty (since they had no actual basis to deny the coverage). I will take my business elsewhere next time. A simple tire exchange turned into unwarranted, chest-puffing accusations of warranty fraud. Nope. Not happening again.*And though Les Schwabs response to my review states that they honor warranties, the truth is that they only do so after confrontational, baseless accusations are leveled at you. Les Schwab, your actions you take speak louder than the half-hearted apologies you try to make after the fact.
I dont ever write these but after the last couple experiences i feel compelled to say something. My family and I are lifelong Les Schwab customers. Tires, alignments, wheels, etc...pretty much anything and everything they do we pay money to have them done there. I had new tires put on my car this past Thursday and was told the car needs an alignment. I asked if it could be done that day and was told immediately that it has to be for a future date. That i understand completely. So i took the day off for today for an 8am appointment for an alignment. I walk away to have a nice stroll after i was told it would be a little over an hour before it would be done. At 9:17 i get a call saying that they got it up on the rack and they dont have the equipment to do the job properly so unfortunately i will need to go somewhere else. I asked why it took so long to tell me that it cant be done and i was told immediately before even finishing the sentence that its just one of those things, sorry. I asked what is one of those things and was told we dont know until its on the rack. We can do some but not all and we wont know until its up there. You just need to go to a dealership. I again ask isnt there a way by year, make, and model to tell if you can or cant. I was then told nope you just need to go to a dealership. I walked back, grabbed my keys, and was told the same thing again but GOOD NEWS...you werent charged anything today. It didnt cost me anything? I had to take time off of work which means its costing me more than the total job to begin with AND now i have to schedule time to find another place and take another day off of work when this could have been avoided days earlier by simply saying it cant be done OR by at least getting to the car promptly on a set appointment to say it cant be done and have me waste more time. The customer service is appallingly bad and the lack of owning up to a mistake is even worse.
Awesome!! nice service!!! love it
I have never left a Google review before but after today this was needed!I called Thursday evening and got a quote for tires and brakes from this Les Schwab location on N. Lombard. I asked specifically if the total amount of $841.39 covered both brakes, tires and an alignment, the rep I spoke with said yes it covers everything. He emailed me the quote. Which shows total $841.39.I made an appointment 2 days later which was for Saturday December 1st. I took my car in the morning. I kept waiting to hear about my car. Nothing, so I called about 4:40pm not knowing they closed at 5pm on a Saturday and asked for the status of my car. Which I was told it was almost ready and the total would be $1,241.35. I was quoted for $841.39. When I asked why the difference they said I had been mis-quoted. To which my response was then why was I not notified in advance before you did the work because that is a huge price difference and the rep on the phone said Im sorry we just copied what was on the quote. So my husband and I went in and we spoke with the manager Rich Finley (was also told by the receptionist he is the owner of this location) and he said sorry that was the wrong quote and that the price would be $1,241.35 My husband said We were told something different and we can not pay that, just take the tires off the car Then Rich said Ok and went outside to take the tires off the car and came back in and said Can we work a deal on the on the tires because I do not want to stay any later and take the tires off and put the old ones back on and they are so bald its illegal to drive on them and when we told him no we can not afford the extra $400 in tires to which Rich said laughing what am I just suppose to give you $400 worth of free tires? Cant we just work something out? And we said no because that was not what we had been quoted and to please to just put our old tires back on.Then at the end he gave us total of $792 and said I gave you a $50 coupon so that should help and then handed us his business card Heres my card, I know everyone is upset right now so when everyone has calmed down and not upset anymore come back and see me and we can try to work something out.Seriously? This was the service we received! It was not our fault the employee quoted us the wrong price and gave us information that was incorrect! Knowing that your employee quoted us wrong price you should have honored it.Horrible service! I would not recommend them! We will be looking for a new place to buy tires.
I think Les is getting shady and/or lazy. Been going to this location for about 10 years, never a problem, have had all my cars alignments done here. Today, waited all day, didnt get a call back, called was told my voicemail wasnt working, no record of a call on my cell phone, friend verified my voicemail was working. Tech says he couldnt get a bolt loose. I ask what could be done to do the service, tech says he didnt want to get into another persons work. ??? Went in to retrieve the car and manager (Rich) tells me something different. No suggestions on how to fix the problem (shady or lazy???). Verbal shouting match in the parking lot. I leave and fire complaint to corporate. Ugh!!!!
Always good product and the warranty to back it up. always tires at this location.. the wait can be long although its quality workmanship.
Came in for tires but some crazy rude people work here. The woman behind the desk was snappy from the start, but luckily I made the appt so it was quick, too quick, literally took the place less than 2 mins to quote me 2,000$! Even put the 4 wheel balance for 56$, the priciest Ive seen. Funny thing was I just did that a couple weeks ago. Sad to see a good place go sour. Never going back to my local tire center again. Nothing good at this one.
Les Schwab has never let me down. From my early driving years, all the way to my turning 40. Ive never had a bad experience with staff, or quality of products.
Great service.. fast too
Cant beat Les Schwab man nail in the tire prefix prefix I just had my front brakes new rotors calipers less than four Hondos
I picked up a spring pin and barely made it in. I had the best experience and would highly recommend this location. Thanks for the quick work.Semper fi 🇺🇸
Great service!!
I arrived about 4:30pm with a leaking tire and left about 5:00pm with a perfect repair. This is the most efficient and friendly Les Schwab Ive seen, and the employees were very busy but friendly. I would return here for new tires based upon the service I received.
Called ahead to ask about the wait, was told it wasnt bad. Came in right away. Had to wait two hours just to find out what was wrong then come back the following morning for repairs and wait some more. At least they admitted the problem was their fault and it was covered under warranty. Long story short, bring a book but expect quality repairs.
Usually have experienced good service in the past here but today was dissatisfied with what they told me. Went in a week after alignment because it was still dragging to the right and they said it was probably “just the slope of the road” and that they did it just fine. Guy at counter looked at me like I was imagining things. Was smug hanging me back my key. Called a different Les Schwab and they actually gave me a solution, cross rotation, but the fact that I have to drive 16 min after 2.5 hours wasted at the original location I am pretty irritated. Going to a different one from now on probably.
Excellent service! Good prices, quality people. For tires I never go anywhere else.
Nice guys fixed my flat no charge
The usual excellent service from Les Schwab. Polite. To the point customer service. Nail in tire late on a Saturday - they got me in time and did the job for free. I will be back!
