Were 18 months into a pandemic. Just update your information.
My only complaint is being charged to put your backpack in a locker because you are not allowed in the bookstore proper. Which I understand.A bring-your-own-lock locker would be nice. Not much chance a student would forget their backpack.Easy policy of locks will be cut off at the end of business. Anything found inside is sent to Lost and Found.
This is my second year here and the service never improves. If you are not clear about or prepared with the information you need, then it will be incredibly difficult for you to get help. I try to order as many of my books online but occasionally during returns or specific items I will visit the bookstores. Regardless of the campus, the students/employees are rude and will not give you many options unless you ask. To me it is common sense to give others their alternatives and answer any questions rather than staying quiet or walking away without saying they are done giving you customer service. I dont write many bad reviews but after two years at almost every campus, it gets old. Buy online only is my suggestion.
The book store is not open late for people who actually do work full time so if you get off of work at 5 pm and work 5 days a week its hard to get your books. The book store should be open until like 12 am, realistically, even the grocery store is open until 11 pm to 2 am. For people who work late, the lines are long but if it was open during later times people could get to the store after work I think it would be better and work better for a lot of workers schedules.
Great place to get the books clothes and items you need for school. Get your school your school bride on and get some red bull at the same time. Overall super friendly staff and very helpful. Havent had a bad experience yet.
Good bookstore; however, it suffers from the steep mark up of so many others due to the text book industry. That said, picked up a 1/100 ruler for cheaper than I could find it on Amazon. So for school ware Id recommend it, for books but the international soft cover ed of you can.
Always helpful, and an excellent place for student to get what they need for classes. More class packages would be nice (Im in the graphic design program, and itd be nice if there was a set for the required materials like a lot of other classes.)
I wish that they didnt ask you if you needed help every 1.32 minutes. Sometimes every 45 seconds. Super annoying, sorry guys. Workers seriously need to relax and back off a bit. Ive left without making my purchase before, out of annoyance from this.
Everything you need for school, i went here for my first term and picked up everything i needed all in one place
Honestly they are super helpful and the whole place is well organized and easy to find every youre looking for.Just be aware that one the term starts, the line is going to be outrageously long. Im taking 30 minutes +.
Staff are very helpful. The bookstore provides a variety of school supplies at a reasonable cost. A good place to go if you forgot to buy school supplies
The bookstore almost always has the textbooks that are needed for a class and they havent ran out of any that I have needed. They are very expensive but thats unfortunately typical with campus bookstores. The staff seem a little overly attentive which is great for freshman but annoying when your just trying to get books and get out at the beginning of the term. That being said, their rental policy is not great, when I tried to calmly explain that a book already had damage when I had rented it I had a staff member start pointing and yelling that the book wasnt like that when she rented it to me. I would recommend buying online or from other students before coming to the book store.
I used PCC bookstore while studying there. It was convenient to get everything need in a curriculum. Served by students for students.
Good prices nice staff and very clean. It is very easy too find what you need and I think you will enjoy there selection.
Ive enjoyed my years and time attending at Sylvania campus because of the support and study environment. Yes, Ive earned not only my GED, but two separate Associates degrees in 2014. GOD IS GOOD!!!
It’s a nice bookstore for what PCC has. The selection is good and the staff is fairly nice.
Way overpriced. They should encourage more open source books to ease student financial burdens.
Staffed by helpful students and mostly fair priced. Usually no buy backs for Anatomy and Physiology textbooks.
I love our cute bookstore! Great deals on some things and a good snack variety.
Their supplies are adequate, though I would not call them worth it. The place is small, and cramped, and usually at least 10$ overpriced. Dont bother getting things here unless you ABSOLUTELY have to.
Its a good place to get your books
Campus bookstorr generally busiest around the start of term. New and used texts to buy or rent.
Nice notebooks, binders and other related stuff tui begin with the courses! Students provide a good service!
Decent bookstore with reasonable prices. Huge lines, though.
Always have gotten treated most Awesome by the Staff!
Textbooks and energy drinks - you cant go wrong.
Great bookstore, staff is usuly helpful amd they mostlu have what you need.
I love that they have a play area because my kids would wreck the place if they didnt.
Everything has changed for the better! Got books easily! In and out without a problem!!
Very big and staff was a great help. Lots of supplies for every course.
Easy layout, friendly staff.
Overpriced and nickle and dimes you. Sells broke students Microsoft office for $400 instead of telling them they get it free with their .edu email.
Honestly felt pretty disrespected by the security guard for being so suspicious. Also over $150 for a used text is not a deal.
Wish all the staff knew about online books. Made it through half a semester without my text book because they were out of it, until one staff member told me I can get the ebook.
Easy to get around in the store.
Very friendly people with everything you are going to need for your courses at PCC. Prices are jacked on books but what better way to learn economics then to totally get screwed on the price of something you are forced to buy..... *cough* Obamacare *cough*
It wasnt busy the day I went so I was helped quickly and was pointed in the correct direction.Very helpful staff
Staff have always been polite and helpful. THE place to go for Panther paraphernalia!
Great place to buy stuff! Amazing!
I am a contractor and work on the campus quite a bit. They pack a lot of necessities into a small space here.
Very knowledgeable staff and willing to help
Its a community college bookstore. Theres only books that are used for classes. Duh.
Great place people very helpful
Overpriced books, very long lines. Friendly staff.
The people are nice and helpful!
Like the bookstore. Could find what you need.
Tried to return a book that had to be turned in on the 15th but do to my work schedule I was unable to return it on the due date and they would not take it back they ended up charging the full amount on top of the rental amount I will never again buy or rent a book from the pcc bookstore again.
It is very crowded and the staff is often short temoered
Always a great experience.
Nice parking just outside
Super friendly staff!
Friendly staff and knowledgeable
Like the Art supplies and prices are okay.
Helpful employees!
Great bookstore!
Usually helpful staff
Nice students
Had to return a defective computer and while it took them too long, they gave us a brand new one.
Everything you need for class, even snacks!
This is the colleges book store.
