Absolutely one of my favorite stores to purchase from. Brimming with positive, knowledgeable energy. Not pushy, very informative. All these ridiculous reviews because she didn’t wear a mask or enforce mask wearing are absolute trolls and the fact that you want to reduce someone’s review based off of a mask requirement shows exactly who you are and what your about. There are entire states that do not require it and I bet you took your mask off in a restaurant to eat but didn’t give them bad reviews. Invoke you are awesome!!!!

Positively buzzing with the best kinds of energy. Good sized select of books, candles and a wide array of other useful tools of the craft. Staff was inviting, knowledgeable, and brought a friendly sense of professionalism that I very much enjoyed.

I love this quirky little shop, but it does bother me that the two times I’ve visited there is no mask-wearing by the person behind the counter (owner maybe? not sure). It just makes me nervous given the pandemic.

My favorite occult shop in PDX, the owner is one of the most genuine people Ive met and very knowledgeable. There is also alot of things you cant find anywhere else made by local people. I recommend invoke to anyone.

The best occult and magic shop in Portland and probably the state. Not only is the shop beautiful, eclectic and well organized but caters to many different occult streams, ranging from ceremonialist magic to Norse paganism to Wicca to hedge witchery. Fantastic book selection, as well as jewelry, home decor, candles, incense, ritual oils, tarot cards, runes, you name it. I cannot recommend Invoke highly enough.

Went here with my girlfriend and the owner was still not wearing a mask. We visited back in the fall and it was the same way. Idk. Awesome store but enter at your own risk.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I guess the owner doesnt care about Covid protocols, she wasnt wearing a mask and there was a customer walking around with his mask down. Disappointing. I will not be supporting this place, there are better crystal and magic shops out there (Celestial Awakenings for instance)

Prices and selection were fair. I liked that there was a tarot reader on site when we visited, and I liked that they offered preowned books.The quality of some products were less than ideal, so just knowing what you’re buying is important. The employees (owners?) didn’t seem to care much about masks or COVID protocol, which is a turn off. Overall, the store was alright. Considering there are lots of other metaphysical supply stores in the area, I wouldn’t put this on my list of recommendations, but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area.

My intuition pulled me out to this shop yesterday and Im so grateful. I lit up the minute I entered the space, the aesthetic is on the spooky side which is right up my alley! And the energy was immaculate! A display of bones, a curated shelf of tarot cards, research books, blank grimoires, a besom hanging from a bookshelf, a selection of juicy crystals, athames made from wood and bone, moody jewelry, luscious incense and resins...pretty much everything that makes your little witchy heart pitter patter can be found here. I highly recommend.

Ive been thinking about my interaction in this shop for months now and I feel comfortable reviewing it here because it seems to be a common issue.The proprietor of this shop completely ignored state-mandated COVID protocols and was not wearing a mask/ did not enforce mask requirements. I wore a mask, but while browsing, another person entered the shop. Upon seeing the owner not wearing a mask, they removed theirs and started a conversation.See, we dont wear masks for ourselves. We wear them for others who might be immuno-compromised or who just dont want to get sick from a potentially fatal virus. Regardless of your personal belief of the severity of the illness, taking the precaution to cover up is considerate of customers and employees alike. The majority of Portland businesses have embraced COVID protocols so that we can stay open, stay safe, and be considerate of each others needs.I cant respect a businesses disregard for the health and safety of others, especially if that business operates within a minority community. There arent many occult stores in Portland, and Invoke is the closest to me, but after COVID is over I wont be able to shop there knowing that the nice woman who worked the counter was an anti-masker.

DID NOT REQUIRE MASKS! Its a shame because they have such cool items that I would love to go back and get, but my entire visit i just felt unsafe with the employees not using any sort of PPE. Thankfully most of the customers were wearing masks, but i was extremely disappointed by the staff. I dont plan on coming back.

This is a great place for browsing thru Crystals, books,cards, and about anything for an awakening and out of the box experience.The atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming.

Great store with a varied selection. Seems to have a lot of elements from different cultures present, from Nordic to Hindi. Lots of great locally made candles and a decent selection of gemstones.

Not an ordinary metaphysical store. Invoke is full of mystery and offers spiritual paraphernalia from many different belief systems. It is a shop full of obscure curiosities but never feels chaotic. There is a calmness about the overall energy of the store. When in Portland, I go out of my way to stop by. My daughter just purchased a lovely crystal ball that will be part of her collection for many years to come.

The owner is fantastic here! She is very accommodating, and always has new/unique/odd/cool/must want items for your home & business! I attended the Mitchell Hedges Crystal Skull event last week and it was fantastic! Seeing a real piece of history in person was amazing! The whole experience is a must. Ill be back next time for sure, and will continue to shop here! Go check it out if you already havent!

I love this store, so many beautiful things, her candles are made with care with high quality oils and herbs and are just exquisite... I found a hard to find book at a reasonable price... Handcrafted jewelry and and tarot cards as well.

DIDNT REQUIRE MASKS. The employee working there was not wearing a mask and had no PPE. All of the guests in the store then decided it was ok, and took off their masks, if they had one on.

I really like this store and the idea behind it. BUT it is really expensive. There is another shop in Portland with the same basic idea and prices are much more reasonable. I love the vibe of this place, but wish the prices were better.

So many feels in this store! The friendly woman at the till described the shop as root-y. A word that describes this place perfectly. The items and energy in this place invokes some strange and powerful feels. I loved it. My daughter tgat accompanied me found it disturbing. Lots of trinkets, decor, books, and handmade things. I purchased some print art and a candle for my altar. At time of purchase, the woman handling the transaction knew about the artist of the print and suggested multiple other stores: antique frame shop, a shop/show floor with more art, and another pagan nook. Her customer service was amazing. While there, I heard her talk to other customers and she seems to have an indepth knowledge of the arts.This store is a must stop for those curious in the shadows of the heart.

This is an awesome little shop. I ran in with very little time on my hands to grab a specific crystal I wanted and didnt have much time to look around, planning to go back when I do have more time to look at all the cool trinkets and such. Of the things I did have a chance to quickly glance at would be some pretty jewlery items. Will definitely be back sometime in the future!

I found what I was looking for. A new scrying crystal. I was shown a scrying board to go with it, and there was a small room to try it out in. The board actually worked really well and I ended up buying the board with the crystal. Thanks for opening my eyes up to something new :)

Unique items and fun vibe

This isnt a magic supply store, its an over priced gift shop with a magic theme. I couldnt find anything I needed for my spell casting there. I bought a crystal for $4 there that was 25 cents at the place on 79th and Stark. Its not for witches, its for tourists. The staff and owner are kinda clueless. I think shes just cashing in on the current popularity of the Craft. The people giving good reviews clearly arent witches.

I am just thrilled to have found this gem of a store! I could just spend hours looking at all the treasures this shop has to offer. The owners really take the time to make you feel welcome and on special occasions you can be greeted by Morty the weiner dog!

It is an eclectic collection of items thoughtfully selected to help personalize your home in a way unique to you. There is something for everyone no matter your background, and one could spend hours here perusing hard-to-find objects and books or picking the owners minds on a variety of topics from interior decorating and design to ancient roots, religions, and spirituality of humanity. I love coming to this store because I always find something new and interesting to take home with me.

I am really appalled to come across the latest episode of the Lars Larson radio show on my FB Feed. Turns out Kristy, one of the owners of this shop went on this show to complain and out right lie about events that took place surrounding a very disrespectful dream catcher class. My review is this, even if I wasnt upset about the class, there is NO WAY I would ever give my business to someone who consorts with Lars Larson. Kristy says she is open and inclusive and serves the witch community. Why then would Kristy consort with a known racist conservative who actively calls for the continued oppression of the black and brown folks and the rest of our shared witch community who may not be brown but are other in a various ways? Witches of all colors, do you want Lars Larson energy on your future sacred items? No? Then I would recommend you take your business elsewhere

I don’t know why anyone is shopping here or why it has such high ratings. As a pagan of over 2 deacades, these people are price gouging!!! I am all about supporting local businesses but not when they play up my spiritual path to cater to the hipster community and then rip people off on top of that... I used to sell metaphysical wares... they are making money hand over fist and are doing it because appearetly people are ignorant enough to pay these prices... go to Moon shadow it’s not far from here, they don’t rip you off and actually take the Craft seriously. PS any metaphysical store who sells Silver Ravenwolf books should be avoided like the plague. If you shop here you are the reason why compassionately owned local stores are empty while the bourgeois like the charlatans who run this store profit off of our need. If you shop here you are a part of the problem!!!
