Ruckus did an incredible job fixing my cracked frame and matching the color. I can’t even tell the difference. The bike came back looking brand new.Ruckus is also excellent at communicating. I was updated every step of the way, so I never wondered what was going on with the repair process.Lastly, the process was quick. Once the frame arrived at Ruckus, it only took two weeks for them to repair and paint the frame.I HIGHLY recommend Ruckus Composites for any carbon repairs.

I strongly recommend Ruckus Composites for carbon fiber frame repair. From initial contact to shipping to keeping me up to date on the repair status, Ruckus was very responsive and professional. The price quoted was the price I paid with no surprises and -- best of all --- the repair quality is outstanding... I feel like I have a new frame.

Ruckus exceeds all expectations:1. Quality - frame returned better than new; I could not find the original damaged area and refinishing (new paint and graphics) was exceptional.2. Service - Shawn Small (owner/CEO) is incredibly responsive via phone and email to address any concerns. He consistently goes the extra mile to ensure clear communication and an outstanding result.3. Timeliness - in spite of high demand for their services, Ruckus delivers - literally, even if staff have to make a rush to FedEx to meet a deadline. In short, this is simply where you want to have your carbon frame repaired. Full stop.

I broke the seat stay of my Pinarello. From the first point of contact till the bike was repaired and shipped back (I live close to the other coast), they were extremely professional, and took good care of the bike. The repair process itself took around how long they said it would, so no delays from their side. The paint work turned out really well. Once the bike was fully built up and after I applied a coat of Muck Off bike spray, its almost indistinguishable from the original.

I sent in a couple of pics of a damaged top tube on a colnago I had crashed with, and after a quick response with 2 quotes for different repair levels I shipped it to have it inspected fully.Once it was there I got a call from Shawn to discuss the options further. They had a different idea do deal with some sub par paint that was on the bike and the repair and finish could not have been better. Im extremely picky and pay a lot of attention to detail and this repair is flawless. Everything about the company from the communication to the actual repair work was above what I expected. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any bicycle carbon repair.

I had an extremely unfortunate mishap involving my Argon18 Gallium blowing over while in a work stand. My top tube was cracked and I was devastated. I have been watching Ruckus Instagram account over the past year, seeing their exceptional work, and I reached out. Their salesperson was extremely helpful and encouraging, gave me a quote on the work, helped me navigate the shipping process. Ruckus fixed the damage at the quoted cost estimate and found a second damage site unrelated to the original incident. They gave me a reasonable additional charge, got it all done in short time (within 2 weeks!) and shipped it back. When I say that they did a perfect job, Im saying that with my face 2 inches from the repair, I literally cannot tell where it starts or ends! Its unreal! Every person I encountered on their team, from sales to engineers, was friendly, knowledgable and had the bed-side manner of a pediatrician! :)You can find a cheaper operation easily, as did I, but if you spent good money on a carbon frame, dont you want it fixed by the best with perfect results?! Wont you worry that something was missed without the Ruckus ultrasound?

This company fixed my frame about a year ago, and after I crashed in a race the frame cracked exactly where it was serviced by them. So, I sent the frame back to get a quote and also understand why the first patch was so weak. Here it’s where the mess started. They sent two different emails to me, one saying that they would probably discount me on a second repair, and another one increasing the price in 15% from the previous service. Ok! I didn’t approve the service and requested my bike back. Surprise!! They sent my frame back half way serviced! Raw carbon fiber on the top tube, lots of scratches where it was fine before. All that was not approved! Not even a misunderstanding email or something! Just not approved at all! And here I am now, stuck with a half way done frame that I can’t afford to finish! Terrible company, terrible service!!

I had a great experience with the folks at Ruckus Composites. I managed to crack the top tube on my Trek Emonda SLR by knocking it over while it was connected to a stationary trainer. I contacted Ruckus and they assured me that is was likely repairable for a reasonable price. I was down in the Portland area for work so decided to drop it off in person. I elected to go for the full repair and paint restoration. The communication was great during the repair process which I think took about 2 1/2 weeks. The frame showed up with no issues. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the repair. If you didn’t know what it looked like before the repair you would be hard pressed to know it had ever been damaged. I have now been riding the bike for the past month and a half and am even more happy I decided to get it fixed. It kept an expensive frame out of the landfill and on the road where it belongs. Since my repair I have referred a teammate to Ruckus Composites and they also had a very similar great experience. Pricing was very reasonable especially considering the quality of the finished product. If the unfortunate experience of needing carbon repair occurs again, I will go to Ruckus Composites without hesitation.

I purchased a Santa Cruz Hightower On-line from a bike manger of a store who had used it as his personal ride. There was some risk because you can only tell so much with pictures. When I received it, it was clear there were more paint chips than he lead me to believe. The rear triangle had a chip about the size of a dime down to the carbon and some other chips from lack of any protectant on the frame. After getting some of the most well known shops and painters to bid repairing it and getting the previous owner to cut an additional discount. I decided to keep the bike and send it to Ruckus for paint touch-up. Only one other shop got back to me as quick as Ruckus. My end to end experience and the quality of work was awesome.1. Communication: The whole team at Ruckus communicated with me the entire time. Even little things like letting me know they received the triangle and when they were ready to send it back. They seem to have a great process down and very professional.2. Value: They bid the work to do the repair. I marked a few other spots and scratches. They touched them up and did not nickel and dime me. Charged me what they bid me.3. Quality of Work: The repair is flawless and as mentioned they went above and beyond fixing the two flaws they bid and additional chips I marked when I sent it in.

The integrated seat post on my Fuji failed and, sadly, I could not find a shop in Canada to repair the carbon frame. I got in touch with Shawn at Ruckus and within a few minutes, had a game plan worked out. Shawn turned removed the integrated seat post, modifying and strengthening the frame to accept a standard post and collar. I was thrilled with the quality of the work at a very fair price. The turn around time was fast and I am back up and running. I cant recommend them enough! Thanks for the great service!Adam

The inside of my Colnago C59 bottom bracket became detached from the carbon shell, leading to lots of creaking and noise. Ruckus repaired my bike quickly and at what I consider a fair price. My bike is like new again, and without all that creaking. Thanks Ruckus!!!

I crashed and crack my sworks tarmac frame in a crit in two places. I had them fix the frame and but no paint match. They ended replacing a whole section of my frame right on the corner of the top tube, down tube and seat stays. The way they blended the fixed part with the rest of the frame and paint was flawless and the frame actually looks pretty rad with the flat black fix. Totally worth it. I’ll upload a picture when the bike is all built up.

The team at Rukus--and Shawn in particular--did incredible work modernizing my Colnago C50. Importantly, they found some serious weakness in my fork and handle bars which could have led to a catastrophic failure. They worked closely with me on the work, removing the derailleur guides (I went to e-tap) and restoring decals, clear coat and water bottle bosses, etc. They kept my costs down and we went with a full Enve cockpit and fork (and wheels). The fork was beautifully painted and detailed...you would need to be an expert to detect that it was not a 75 Colnago fork. The aesthetics of the final job are amazing!! Thank you Team Ruckus!!!

I have a Colnago C50 and the bond failed where the down tube inserts into the lug on the bottom bracket. I called around in Northern California and nobody could fix it. I found Ruckus Composites on the Google and contacted them. I sent them a picture and they said that they have a lot of experience fixing this type of problem. They were courteous and very helpful throughout the process. They did the repair and matched the finish perfectly. You would never know that a repair was done. Even though this is an older frame, it is in never perfect condition and look forward to more years of riding.

I had a bike crash on December 31, 2015 at 8:00 am in the morning. I ride a 2013 carbon fiber Cannondale SuperSix EVO road bike. I purchased the frame new from a guy on EBay. It had never been built according to the bike shop that built my bike. During the bike crash the down tube developed a crack that went 3/4 through the carbon fiber down tube. I also damaged the front derailleur hanger. I had spent nearly $3000 on the bike frame when I purchased it. The local Cannondale dealer would not warranty the farm because he said I was not the original owner. I guess I wont be purchasing any new bikes from thouse guys. So, I was faced with purchasing yet another carbon fiber bike frame at $3000+.I then remembered seeing an article in bicycling magazine about companies that repaired carbon fiber bike frames. Looked up the article and read about Ruckus Composits. I called Adam, the carbon cowboy, and explained what happened to my bike. Adam was very knowledgeable and told me he could fix the crack and front derailleur hanger if I could find a new front derailleur hanger online. I purchased the derailleur hanger from a bike shop in Germany. I shipped my bike from Texas via FedEx for $80 to Rukus Composits with he derailleur hanger. Adam notified me when Ruckus received the stripped down bike frame. He told me he could make this repair for $500 plus shipping and it would look great. The repair was the easy part matching the paint and decal was the expensive part of the job. Later, Adam informed me that the front derailleur hanger was not the same as the on he removed. He told me the holes did not line up but that would not be a problem. A few weeks later the bike fram arrived and looked fantastic. You can tell it has been repaired if you reflect light off of the repair site. The front derailleur hanger was replaced correctly and I had no problem putting on the front derailleur. Ruckus gave me a five year warranty. It has taken me a long time to put the bike back together. I have been riding the repaired frame and it great.I am very satisfied with their work and I would recommend them to anyone that has cracked the carbonMy out of pocket cost was ~$700. I paid $160 in shipping $80 each way and $500 for the repair.Adam I was lazy about putting it back together because I had a second bike I could ride. Now that it is back on the road I realize how much I liked it. Thanks for the excellent repair work.
