As a cyclist who is new to spending some longer hours on the road (100 miles/week) I knew that a good fit was necessary to maximizing those miles. Id had a PT fit me on my older bike and other places were similar in price to Output - but I doubt they come close to the detail and personalization at Output. Josh really focused on my experience riding and my bikes setup. Totally recommend.

The bike fit was exactly what I was hoping for! I got the exact information I needed and Josh was super patient and answered all of my cycling questions. Had a great experience here for a road bike fit/sizing and a TT bike fit. Josh at the shop clearly has a passion for his work. He answered all the questions I had throughout the fit. Even though we were fitting/sizing multiple bikes on a Friday afternoon and into Friday evening, I never felt rushed. Josh clearly has a ton of experience.Ive noticed immediate improvements based on my TT bike fit and was given a list of bikes that would be suitable for me based on the bike sizing. Responsiveness was excellent prior to the fit and continues to be great after the appointment as Ive had follow up questions. This was well worth the trip for me from the Puget Sound area.

I have been cycling/racing for a number of years and have had my share of bike fits that just did not quite measure up when the ride required excessive time in the saddle. Josh did a bike fit for my TT bike. The experience was so much fun and informative. He used the most up to date computerized technology and explained what he was doing throughout. And the fit was so right on in terms of addressing my particular needs. The price of the services is a great value and well worth the 3 and a half hour drive for me to get there. I came in for a bike fit, first time, not having a detailed evaluation performed to help alleviate some discomforts and pains while riding. Post fit my knee and hand pains are effectively gone, this is after a month of some hard training indoors. I have spent up to 2 hours with my bike hooked up to a power meter trainer and been able to push hard without pain and discomforts.We had to change some existing components of my bike to get the desired measurements, but it has greatly increased my ride quality. I will go back if I need a tune up to my riding position, or look at a new bike purchase.

I brought my road bike in for a bike fit. I a got more detailed fit than I have elsewhere in the past. Ryan was awesome at explaining every step of the way and why he did each adjustment. The shop is pretty cool with great equipment and services. I would highly recommend it.

I was having some discomfort so I went to Output Speed Lab for an overall bike fit. The Bike Fitter I worked with was Josh. He took the extra time was to understand my issues and concerns with comfort on the bike.During the fit, Josh showed and explained to me every adjustment that was being made. Josh also took the time to make little tweaks and adjustments to find the “sweet spot” without jeopardizing my aero position.Once we were finished, Josh then took extra time to allow me to try different equipment (bars and extensions etc.) on the test bike, which was really helpful to me so I could feel the difference in comfort. This helped me to decide if I wanted to upgrade my equipment.

An amazing, thorough job with the bike fit. Excellent suggestions and minor tweaks on shoes and small changes on my existing bike have already made a huge difference. I can hardly wait to see what the new bike brings.

Josh is the man! He’s been my go to guy the last couple years for fitting. At first it was all about getting comfortable and aero on my TT bike and he has delivered. I have had some of my fastest rides to date after working with him. I also worked with him on getting comfortable on my road bike just for the casual riding and he dialed me in perfectly! Great combination of technology and listening to the riders to get them dialed in.

Both Chris and Josh are very professional and helpful. I worked with them on what size bike to purchase, and then went in for a full bike fit and saddle fitting. In the past I have spent way more money on saddles and shorts trying to get comfortable and this is definitely a more cost effective way to get comfortable on the bike. The set up looked at static and dynamic measurements as well as feedback to ensure any areas of strain and tension were alleviated so my energy can go into riding instead fo squirming around. I would not buy another bike without this being considered part of the cost.

Josh explained everything he was looking for, measuring, and tweaking along the way. He did a physical review, and lots of on-bike adjustment and measurement. Finally all of the adjustments from the fit-bike were applied to my real bike, and I cannot wait to get out and ride!

I have previously worked with Josh for a bike fit on my existing road bike and had amazing results, increased comfort and power with his detailed, analytical approach. As I approached the purchase of a TT bike, I headed back to the Lab to figure out which bike would be best for me. Josh was again amazing, extremely thorough in defining my optimal position and measurements, including saddle. We then looked at the two brands I was considering and narrowed down my selections based on the best alignment with my needs. We decided on an Argon 18 E-118+ and when I picked it up a few weeks later, Josh had the bike built to my specifications. We spent some time adjusting the shifting but the fit itself was perfect. Ive never had a more comfortable ride and I attribute that 100% to Joshs expertise in measuring, guiding the right purchase and building the bike to my specifications. I will not take my bikes or purchase anywhere else!

I had a bike fit with Chris. Very impressed with the thoroughness and attention to detail. The pressure pad device used for the saddle fit was extremely helpful when choosing a saddle. Would definitely recommend them and will be going back in the future when needed.

I just got a new bike from Canyon, and prior to riding it, I went in for a bike fit with Output SpeedLab. Prior to the actual fit, Chris asked questions about my goals in cycling, what I liked about my previous bike, how it fit, etc. For the actual fit itself, he was quite meticulous with the measurements and showed me pictures of how I looked on the bike. The size of bike I ordered was an XXS, which was what Canyon recommended, but with my fit, it put me on the upper limits on the seat post and the stem, so Chris recommended I get an XS. Im really glad I had a professional fit to help me realize I would have been on the wrong size! Not only that, but I mentioned that I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain with riding, and Chris noticed my posture on the bike was not ideal and was due to scapular weakness, and he gave me exercises to do to improve it. Once my replacement bike comes in, I will be able to schedule another fitting with Chris to make sure its completely dialed in. I highly recommend everyone who rides get a bike fit with Output SpeedLab!

Not my first fit, but my best fit. Josh combined engineering and the newest technology with how the feel on the bike is. Left very pleased with the adjustments we have made. Looking forward to going back and getting the TT bike fitted as well.

TT Bike Fit with Chris was phenomenal. Prior to getting fit, I couldnt sit in the saddle for more than 20 minute at a time due to pain from the saddle and in my shoulder. He adjusted my seat, cleats, angle of my bars, width of my armrests, and many other pieces of my bikes puzzle. Loved the seat pressure mat, which helped us choose a new saddle for more comfort! And for the first time ever I was comfortable on my bike for an entire HIM race! Very happy. Thank you!

I went to Chris at Output SpeedLab to solve issues with my saddle, and Im extremely happy with the results. They use the gebioMized saddle pressure mapping technology (as far as Im aware, theyre the only business in Portland that has it), which gave me real-time feedback about how I was sitting on my saddle and how different saddles affect my position and comfort. Coupled with Chris great knowledge of how to use the data, we found a better shaped saddle that will work better for my body. Thanks Chris!

I had a bike fit done back in December and thought it felt better but didnt really know. Well now I know for sure because I was forced to ride on my commuter bike with a different fit for a week. Here’s an idea: get fit by an expertly trained bike fitter (and coach!) before you invest in your new bike.Chris and Josh spend hours with you honing in on a perfect fit to the millimeter, based individually on your goals, mechanics, and background.So many cyclists and triathletes buy a fancy new bike before they learn if the geometry is right for them, potentially getting stuck with an ill-fitting frame that has to be re-worked with trade-out components, or worse yet, will simply never fit them right. I’m sooooooo stoked I went to Output first, and I will return to fit my other bikes, in addition to tweaking my fit in the future.Output is a better investment than your bike, itself.

These guys are awesome! As a beginner cyclist, Josh and Chris did a great job walking me through each step and explaining the importance of the adjustments during the bike fit. They also walk you through a mobility test to determine how the fit will affect your specific body. I feel great on my bike post fit at the Speed Lab. I highly recommend this place!

Firstly I don’t write reviews, both good or bad so this is my first because they deserve it based of their work, that said I’ve waited several months simply to evaluate and adjust to new fit and simply put miles on the bike, it is fair to say both (Josh & Chris) did an excellent job and I could not be more happier with where we landed, niggles remedied and most importantly I feel much more balanced on the bike. I have been to Output for an initial fitting and two follow up fittings and the before and after pictures speak for themselves. I’ve had two bikes fitted by Josh (road and TT). Obviously thrilled with the immediate uptick in watts, but more importantly, the nagging hip pain I used to get from long days in the saddle just vanished. Bike Fitting is fun... if you go to these guys! I generally shy away from most things mechanical, but during my session at Output SpeedLab, Chris and Josh explained everything with such patience and clarity that I couldnt help but be engaged with the fitting process. As a triathlete, Ive had to work especially hard in the cycling department to make improvements, and they helped instill in me the confidence that an optimal bike fit will change my road life. Sure enough, it has! With a few tiny tweaks they transformed my spine from hunchy over handlebars to the backbone I never had. (We have the before and after snapshots to prove this). I cant recommend Josh at Output Speed lab enough. I had been dealing with some hip impingement issues on my tri bike as well as some major saddle woes. Josh worked with me to adjust the height on my saddle and aero bars to make my fit much more comfortable, and allowed me to try every single saddle (some even twice!) until I found one that I thought was good. After trying the one I got on the road, I found that it wasnt all that I was hoping for and Josh allowed me to come back, try a bunch of them again, and exchange them! I never felt as though my questions or asking to try the same saddle or position we already had was a nuisance, and you can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing!
