Great place to find candy and soda you may not even know exists. Could easily find a gift for any age here. They even stock some of those hard to find favorites from days gone by.

This is a great place to take anyone to kids, and adults. But if you take a kid you might want to keep really good eye on him cuz theyre to be grabbing all the candies and everything. Its very clean and organized.

My girlfriend and I stopped in to check it out. Id been here before as its a fun looking place, but she had not. We both goofed off, asked questions and eventually got some gross soda pops lol.She got birthday cake flavored and I got butter flavored. Neither good tasting but fun nonetheless.My only problem is that everything is rather expensive for what it is but its still fun.

Walked into the store today to check the place out, and the girl working front counter rolled her eyes as soon as I walked in the door. I didnt even say anything, Id never been here before, but I can assure you, Ill never come back if this is how your employees treat the customers. I even still bought a drink, and she acted like me buying something was wasting her time. Do better.

Interesting candy shop. Theyve got novelty sodas, candies, etc. $$ - a bit pricey, but most of it you wont find anywhere else. If you want a bacon flavor or buttered corn flavored soda, theyve got it. Worth a stop in if youre nearby.

Cool place with lots of nostalgic stuff. We found things that we havent seen since childhood. We always get one of every type of root beer go to a park and do a taste testing party. This is the only place I found that sells so many different cool things from a long time ago

So many cool & interesting things to see! Lots of unusual candies with emphasis on Asian candies. Largest selection of sodas that Ive ever seen. A little pricey, but downtown location makes this a neat place to visit with others.

They have everything you could ever want to find in the way of candy, sodas and novelty toys. So much fun packed into one place! I bought Violet Crumble and Ice Cubes. Very nice staff as well, even on Christmas Eve.

The guy there was knowledgeable and helped us pick out some very choice soda. Skip the novelty flavors like the butter and other funky labels, unless youre looking for a white elephant gift. They have so much soda! And reasonable prices. Stop by and grab a drink. Its a blast

Though it has a lot of unique drinks, i was hopeful i would find some vintage candy from my childhood but not the case. They had very little of the great stuff i wanted, and it was understaffed at the time. And the one that was there was so busy that I didnt get to ask about it.

I cant believe these candies still exist!!! They have more Taffy than most places that make the darn stuff! Not to mention there were at least 100 different flavors of soda. A few old gag toys as well (snap gum!). If ever there was a place to be named memory lane, this would get my vote.

You can find almost any candy you can imagine here. They also have a wide collection of sodas, ranging from craft root beer to chocolate bacon flavored.Worth stopping in if you got a hankering for Mass quantities of sugar.

This place, hands down, is simply and absolutely, AMAZING. Everyone my husband and I visit Portland we HAVE to go here. They have soda lining the walls and candy dating back from a long time ago and all places around the world! Every time we have walked into this place weve felt welcome and the people that work here have been so nice and kind!!! This is for sure a must see if youre visiting Portland!

If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go they have everything you could think of. From salt water taffy to Japanese candy and even novelty fireworks. This place is the best. By far one of the best Soda & Candy shops Ive ever walked into. Their selections almost seem endless, the staff is always helpful and friendly. If you have adventurous taste buds ask some of the staff what sodas or candies to try out. If youre in town for a shirt time then you must drop by this place! Definitely a sight to appreciate, and alot of great snacks!

Candy from my childhood. Candy from Europe. Every type of soda pop you can possibly think of. Great old school vibe. I brought my kids here for a outing on a sunny day. It was a great experience and I definitely plan on doing it again! Im glad that I read the reviews from other people who told me what to expect :-)

This is a very unique and fun store. Theres a variety of funny products as well as food and beverages like youve never seen before. Its just candy you can mostly find at the Dollar Store, or Freds. Which is fine, of course, but its OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. Even tho the signs from outside read gag gifts and other things, the only nonexpensive candy item that I saw, was those rubber horse masks.

This is a fun little place. If you want weird sodas (and I mean WEIRD) and interesting candy, it is definitely worth a visit.

I love going here whenever I get a craving for something sweet and unique. The fill your own bag candy wall is great! I also like how they havd expanded a bit on inventory with posters, signs, lunchboxes, toys and other things! Would recommend for locals and tourists.

Whether you‘re just craving something sweet or looking for a fancy gift, this would be a cool store to go to. The number one reason I came here though is the penny pincher/ penny press machine inside. So in case you‘re a collector as well: you‘ll find two saying and depicting a view of PORTLAND and two store-related images.Ask for a shiny Penny and throw in two quarters- that‘s all you need.Prices for sweets etc. are pretty high though, I guess it‘s the location. They also offer some T-Shirts/ themed cotton bags and so on.

YES every time we pass this place I always have to point at it and say Rocketfizz!! and then we have to go inside. its just fun to be in! its colorful and nostalgic and they will absolutely hook you up on the saltwater taffy.

For many years I have perused this world, searching for the fabled Dewshine. Alas, even Rocket Fizz, the shop of legend, did not have it. A great establishment regardless.

Lots of old school candies and a bunch of intriguing new ones also. I tried their Pickle Soda.... Lets just say, it was interestingly not what I wanted! Still was fun to try it! You wont end up leaving this place without something in your hands.

Rocket Fizz is such a fun place to go. It has a lot of fun sodas and candies and the Taffy and both candy is the best. I can get a giant bag full of just purple Jolly Ranchers! Score! I like to come here with my friends because candy is very popular with most high schoolers and they have Push Pops with three different flavors and I hate watermelon flavored candy but the whole strawberry blue raspberry is my jam.

Nice store in the centre of Portland, with different national and imported candy. I was able to find three Pez dispensers that I did not have, and add them to my collection!

From the dopest selection of candy Ive ever seen to the worst possible Soda flavors imaginable, this place is a treat for shoppers hanging around the Powells books area. If you are nearby Powells going here is a no brainier. Now for me no trip to Portland is complete without a trip to Rocket Fizz. It is my belief that any store with the name rocket in it is pretty much guaranteed to be awesome and I was not let down. Ridiculous variety of sodas and candy. Staff was really helpful with touristy questions too and thats always a huge plus.

This place was so great! Id been wanting to go for awhile but just didnt have the time! Its a well stocked store and they have so much candy and soda. My jaw literally dropped in delight and awe.They had Jolt Cola there! I hadnt had Jolt since high school! It brought back so many memories of really wishing I wasnt in high school, lol.I swear I saw a thing of Big League Chew. I may have been hallucinating, though.The cashier was super nice and my visit definitely put a smile on my face.

Cool concept, poorly executed. Bought a grab bag of candy a for my kids and it was all stale. I was totally digging the store though, until the clerk shamed my daughter for dropping a piece of candy on the ground. Not worth it. Wont be back.

This place is great. Tiramisu Kit Kats, Turkish Delights, and BARF! soda. I even found a rubber chicken key chain to replace the one I had when I was younger (Im not being immature, Im being nostalgic.) Forgot to look for Violet Crumbles but if any place might have them this is the place. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Ill be back much sooner than I probably want to be!

Found a soda I drank as a kid in Tinyburg, IA... 35 years ago. Daughters eyes popped out of her head when she saw that gigantic swirl lollipop (freaking 9 diameter). Son encountered wind-up chattering teeth for the first time & weve had to replace them more times than I can count (kids always break the things they love the most). Im a fan.

It is a fun, silly, well stocked, decently priced place to visit with friends or family.It is also fun to get mix-and-match cases of soda with your loved ones to consume while hanging out and trying new, unusual things -OR- for a fun special occasion.
