Stopped by after a rehearsal dinner. We’re visiting from out of town and we loved the atmosphere. They have Good music and good drinks. I would definitely recommend grabbing a drink here.

The bartenders are always personable and friendly! All give great customer service and can make a solo trip for a drink still a fun time. Large selection of drinks and a clean environment to relax in. Plenty of TVs so sitting anywhere you sit you have a view of a game or show.

Had a great fun there.hanging with the locals. Has a cheers type vibe. I only drink Ciders but has a great seletion of beers on top an in bottles do your self a favor an ho visit Ros and tge gang!

This is a great spot for an after-dinner beer, hanging out and watching sports, or pregaming before a PTFC game. Large selection of beers and ciders on tap, and tons of cans and bottles if you want something a little different.

Always a great rotating lap list, including a frozen drink and cider options. Also a great spot to pick up cans and bottles of interesting drinks.

Been here a handful of times now, each time I come to Portland I make sure to stop in, and am never disappointed! Consistency- Ive seen the same bartender each time Ive been, his name is David, and hes a friendly knowledge gentleman that knows about the products they have! Hes made several suggestions of different beers I normally would not have tried, and each time I am pleasantly surprised! I brought my sister here for her 21st and she asked if she could try a selection of different beers. David put a flight together based off things she told him and she had a great time. Ive never left without a growler or at least several bottled beers. Ill be back for sure!

The beer selection is impressive not only in the wall of fridges, but also with 18+ items on tap. Very friendly and great windows. Tvs all around for news, sports, etc. The seating areas felt a little sterile, but other than that - very happy.

One of my OG bottleshops that I work with! Great staff, beer selection, wine selection, and cider selection! Chill atmosphere and an excellent spot to either watch the Timbers game from or have a beer prior to going!

They do not serve food here, which is totally fine. Hot lips will deliver for free. Alie (Ale?) was very friendly and informative about the taps available. Shes in on Sundays and a joy to do business with. If Im in the area again, Ill be back. Thanks guys.

Noticed their BEER sign and fire going outside and decided to check it out to end the night. Amelia was the sweetest beertender and got us going with some delicious hazys. Weve been back multiple times since. Always a god vibe!

Great place to grab a drink before a soccer game. Good tap selection and bottles to buy. Good price for 20oz pours too. A little loud, but to be expected at a drinking establishment.

Customer service is fantastic here. I had passed by about 20 minutes before they opened and Jessie was more than willing to answer a couple of questions. Jessie is very attentive no matter what he is doing. Thank you guys very much!

Simple watering hole with a large selection of different brews from around the region. A very cozy and convenient spot for hanging out with friends and trying different beers and ciders. Theres also plenty of food options next door.

On more than one occasion I have seemingly been skipped over for service while at the bar. While I only come here on game days it’s very possible that it’s a coincidence, but it does give one pause when you’re the only person of color in the bar and the bartenders seem to avoid you on purpose. I came here months ago and and was skipped over by the bartender as if on purpose to the point I said I’d never come here again. Today I decided to give it another shot.There were 2 open seats at the bar when I walked in so I sat down. There were a lot of people in line at the register so I expected a wait. The dwindled to a normal amount and still all 3 bartenders served only the line. I waited 20 minutes at the bar while no one at the bar, including people who had already been served, were helped. Eventually I came to assume that to get service I needed to get in line. As soon as I got out of my seat and got in line, to bartender started to serve the people at the bar.Again, without a white friend there with me, I was unable to get a drink. Probably a coincidence, probably....

This place is super kick back and has a great craft beer and cider selection. (they also have wine) This place is conveniently located near Providence Park and is near a Max Line which makes it really easy to visit. The Civic Taproom is a great place to get drinks before or after a game, or when you are just out with friends. They also host a Trivia night.

Cool atmosphere. Lots of local beers and a great bottle selection. Trivia is always fun and there are some pretty good late night food options in the area.

The Civic is in a great spot, and it is busy and fun. Especially on game day. They have a limited number of taps, and their usually pouring very Portland drinks. Not the best option for dark beer lovers. They are a bottle shop too. Which means they probably have what you want. Just watch the price. Some of their bottles are pricy. They dont serve food, but you can bring in your own. Finally, these are the closest bathrooms to Providence Park. Avoid them on game day. Theyre usually pretty good, but I dont think the staff can keep up on game days.

Between the Taps and the Cooler--best beer and cider collection in the area. It will be nice to have a good beer bar to chill at before the 2015 Timbers games. Its close to 21st and 23rd as well so you can work it into your bar crawl as needed. Good place for Portland to have on the westside.

Ive never been to a place that had beer, cider and wine on tap. Fantastic selection with local food suppliers nearby. If their tap list doesnt work for you, then their expansive bottle selection will!

Stopped in for a quick drink. Bartender was very friendly and the beer was good! Had some fries from the place next door and they were quite delicious!

This place is pretty great for groups or if you just want to grab a beer. They have a lot of rotating beer and cider on tap, and they have a ton of bottled beer you can get to go. One note, they dont have food really, but you can bring in food from the surrounding restaurants or get Boise Fry Co delivered.

Great little bottle shop, I go there once or twice a week and the staff are super nice. I love it!

The taproom is a great bar to hit up. I enjoy coming by to start the night. Huge tap protons in stock with large variety of rotating taps......and massive cooler selection.

This place is great! They have a great selection of beers, ciders, and wines on tap. I highly recommend the Green Flash Double IPA when you come here!

Youll be hard pressed to find a bar with this kind of selection outside of Baileys in downtown Portland. No food, but its sandwiched in between a Jimmy Johns and a hot lips pizza not to mention delivery from the Boise fry company two doors down. Oh and great place to watch a game!

Top 3 tap rooms in portland. Best staff and a great selection of beers to fine wines. Rose selection is also suprisingly impressive. Drink enough and get yourself a custom mug with any graphic on it. They Rock.

Only been to the bottle shop so cannot comment on the bar. However, there are lots of choices of beers to choose from. Was not crowded when I came so was promptly helped

We have visited Civic many times in the past, so last night was no exception. The exception however was the RUDE service from the bartender. Yes it was just after the Thorns game, and there were around 20 patrons in the bar, so it was busy but manageable . I had asked for some samples of cider and did not really care for them. When he asked what I wanted, I asked for 2 more samples and he replied, I dont have time to give you any more samples. Unfortunately I had already ordered a beer for my husband, or I would have walked out right then and there. This experience has left me feeling like I will not be visiting Civic for awhile when there are so many other places I can spent my money and time.

One of the good place to visit for beer, great staff, beer and service! Atmosphere is a bit loud, but what can you expect of a beer place.

The Taproom is unable to control their drunk guests. On numerous occasions inebriated customers blocked the entire sidewalk area in front of the establishment. I as well as other pedestrians have had to walk around the crowding of drunk people and walk on the street to pass. That is a safety hazard and just ridiculous.
