A few weeks back my wife left her sunglasses on a table inside. We called (5-10 minutes after we left) and the owner said he found them and would set them aside. We went back the next day and they were gone. I’ve checked in periodically and nobody seemed to know where they were. I just got off the phone with the owner and he says he doesn’t know what happened to them and that lost and found items weren’t his responsibility…and that this was the end of it. But these sunglasses weren’t really in the “lost and found” and these were $300 Maui Jim sunglasses. Who knows what happened to them but it’s disappointing that the owner said he found them and would set them aside for us…then he lost them but won’t take responsibility. He didn’t offer to help pay a portion, he didn’t offer a gift certificate, he didn’t offer anything. He simply said there’s nothing he could do. How disappointing.

Journeys is the perfect place to get a beer, cider or glass of wine on a nice sunny day. They have heaters and a fire pit for colder days and evenings too! Im looking forward to the food menu coming back, but until then you can order food from surrounding restaurants or online delivery and thats not a bad deal! I enjoy coming here with groups, you feel like youre at your own backyard hangout, but with drink service and you dont have to wash dishes after :)

One of my favorite places to linger over a pint on a sunny afternoon; covid hasnt dampened the atmosphere, even if its made it a little less intimate. When in Multnomah village late afternoon, pack along impromptu tapas and enjoy the yard.

Journeys is an awesome little bar with a lot of outdoor seating. Customer service is excellent, and the food is pretty good. We tried the Cheese Pizza and the Homer grilled cheese bites, and both were very good. The beers are decent and selection is not bad for a little bar.Street parking only and can be quite challenging during peak hours.

Journeys is a very cool place to hang out for a beer. And the people who frequent it seem to be extremely nice. The front area outside is pet-friendly, too. Check it out.

This low review is not about Journey’s beverages or food but about customer service.It was seven years ago that I proposed to my wife at Journey’s and for that seven year anniversary I wanted to reserve the table which the proposal took place and surprise her. It was one of the smallest tables in the bar and by the door. Even though it was busy at the time that table was not occupied. That table is not in a good location to begin with. I explained to the bar keep what I was planning and why. I asked if I could reserve that table for the night of the anniversary and he simply said no, Journey’s does not take reservations and that was the end of it.I understand why the bar has their policies but come on are they that ridged that they do no have exceptions for special circumstances? This was a very special occasion. I will share my story with my friends whom we have frequented Journey’s together and let them decided if it is a place they want to continue to visit. I know I won’t.

This a favorite of mine because especially in the summer, the table sitting on the lawn or patio makes for a relaxing atmosphere. This was the case yesterday when I was there during happy hour which is 5:00 - 7:00 daily. They serve very good appetizers and great NW beer without charging a arm and a leg.

Since O’Conner’s closed the best bar in the area. Good food, small and intimate. Love the bartenders, the bar, and the compliment of regulars it usually is serving.

Ignore this review - I dont want you to know about this place. It is amazing. Where else can you have an amazing brunch at the same place that is one of your favorite happy hours or spots to play scrabble in the late night. My only wish is that it would be open later!

This review is for the food only. Grabbed dinner here and was not too impressed with the food unfortunately. Although I didnt get a drink here, the food just doesnt seem to be fit for wine. For example, grilled cheese sandwiches? But its a really cozy place to be in although it is kinda small indoors. On a good day though, there are plenty of outdoor seating.

One of my favorite places to get a drink and a bite to eat. Have been going here for years and still love it as much as the first time. All the staff really know their stuff and treat you like friends. It is my home away from home.

One of my favorite places to grab a bite and a beer in SW. Its always cozy and always packed, but its never overwhelming. When you walk in the door, the bar staff is always quick to grab your name (if theres a wait) and get you a beer (to enjoy while you wait). Highly recommend trying the Homer grilled cheese bites!

Great night time vibes in the Village when the other shops are closed up. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the front lawn which includes a large fire pit. The beers are usually interesting and more obscure.

A Mult Village version of Cheers. Warm welcome even if they do not know your name. Just a few beer taps but well-chosen. Small bites, soups and salads. Gets busy later in the evening.

A very unassuming and intimate little bar pushed back a ways from the sidewalk, i kept passing this place by on my way to other restaurants, bars and shops in the area. my partner suggested that we visit, as it has good reviews and hes always interested in exploring the local bars. we were pleasantly surprised! i look forward to many summer evenings on their porch or out in the front yard. service was extremely friendly and were very apologetic when they quickly informed us that their kitchen wasnt in service that day. fortunately, wed just come from the next building over--the restaurant thai herbs--so we were only there for the drinks anyway :) they have a small but nicely curated list of drinks to choose from on tap (especially their wine), and have a full bar. theres a shocking amount of space inside compared to how small the building looks from the outside, and one wall is full of board games you can play while youre there. overall, the friendly and inviting environment makes this an appealing spot for afternoon or evening drinks and a low-key hangout spot with friends or a significant other.

Journeys is delicious and their grilled cheese bites are divine. However, the kitchen is closed Saturday and they dont open until 4 so you really have to plan ahead to get the biggest attraction Journeys has: the grilled cheese bites.

I like that they have HH with drink specials included and I cant find fault with their wait staff but the food is overpriced for the quality+quantity mix and the HH plates are quite small, especially for the $$. Ive only ever experienced HH there so I cant speak from a full-sized meal perspective but having seen the prices, I dont think Id ever bother eating dinner there. Its also Really small inside and can be physically difficult to get around in there when its crowded, let alone find a freed up table. Almost too cozy. Ultimately, its just an OK place to stop in once every few years. It looks cool on the outside and is in a great location but I wish the inside matched up.

This was a fun little joint. Their food was pretty good and their drink selection was respectable. It can get loud at night, like most drinking spots. Seating is tight and cramped.

This PLACE ROCKS!!!!! Awesome Atmosphere, great product knowledge, not pretentious. Best place in Portland.

Within 2 blocks of my home in Multnomah Village this has to be the most chill wine, beer and food house in the area (world!) Journeys has super friendly staff, rotating taps, a cozy setting in a former home now bar/lounge/pub/whatever you call them, a huge yard with an almost year round fire pit and great view of Capitol Hwy through Multnomah Village.Do go here for great cheese sticks, do go here for amazing panini sandwiches, do go here for delicious deserts crafted daily, do go here because I told you to.
