Its the best Fried Chicken Wings in town! Im a regular here and its the only thing I come for. Awesome combination with the Jojos. Comes with one Ranch dipping sauce. And you can pour your own hot sauce and condiments. This place is a staple in NE Alberta!

What a Special Little Surprise!

May be a great shop but staff is unprofessional and discriminate against dog breeds even if it is a service animal. They ask for proof for a professional service dog, which they cant actually do, and then just comment about how dangerous the dog supposedly is the whole time youre in there. Embarrassing and rude.

I dont get the hype. These gentrified folks have no idea whats food. First I thought it was gonna be a nice black owned business but its a just a liquor store. Koreans poising the community. The chicken wings are huge, the size of leg quarters. Not sure the hormones in the chicken. The crust was actually nice and amazing but the meat was not something I wanna eat. Tbh winco foods has better fried chicken or even wingstop a few blocks away. Will definitely not be going again

Best fried wings. I specifically come here just for wings ! Nobody said it was gourmet chicken, but its good fried chicken. They offer other deli fried foods that you can dip into their wonderful ranch dressing with. Dill ranch dressing!! Theyve got chilled beverages for all ages. Its a simple one stop and I can appreciate the diversity & the chicken. FYI: Cash only !!

Best wings in Portland!!I got 6 full wings and Jojos for $7.50. Great deal. The wings are amazing. The hot sauce and ranch really makes the chicken taste great. The jojos are normal; not that special.You have to find street parking to go inside this corner store. The hot food case is right up front. There is no wait to get your food. The food stayed hot until I got home. They charge extra for more containers of ranch, but you can take all the hot sauce you want.

Been going here since I was in high school. Years & years later, I still love this place & still the best wings in town. All the white newcomers in Portland can complain all they want but this place will forever have my heart.

A friend of mine just gave me a couple of chicken wings and they are the BEST chicken wings I have ever had! I had to ask her where she got them, and she told me Jack’s at Alberta Market. I have never been there, but will be really soon for some more! Most fried chicken is really salty, so for that reason, I generally don’t eat fried chicken, but this fried chicken has little to no salt and I absolutely love it! I went to Heaven when I ate them, and I didn’t have to die to do that!

Was hoping to give q good review. Unfortunately after walking a mile under the presumption that listed hours were correct (1030) as it was only 945. The store was chained down tight.

Their chicken is wonderful! My kids ask to go there from time to time. I cannot blame them. Our family enjoys their wings and jojos.

My reason for the ⭐⭐ is theyre still deep frying their wings WITHOUT pulling out all the feathers! I stopped buying them more than 7-8 years ago for this reason.I dont feel they are clean and although they may wash them, leaving feathers on them is not cleaning them thoroughly. I dont eat feathers!!! Thursday June 27, 2019 I decided to go and try them as many raved as usual about them. Feathers deep fried on every wing! I wont be going again!One thing I will give them is they have cut way back on the salt seasoning, otherwise I would have given them One ⭐!

Very bad customer service, When i called in the owner and employees were talking s*** while not even being on hold. Calling me a racial slur, making fun of the way i talk. Will never go here again and calling the heath dept.

Portland hasnt disappointed with food and since moving here in May, all Ive heard about is Jacks fried chicken wings. I finally found myself in the neighborhood and snagged a 4 piece with jojos. Ill definitely be back for wings before football games, perfect seasoning, nice and crispy. Highly recommended.

Very out of the ordinary, Jacks wings are by far some of the best chicken I have ever had, dont let the market fool you it looks like a regular store but it is much more. I was proud to see black, white, Asian, and Hispanic people eating and just chilling out front diversity at its best, cant wait to get back to the market.

I live three blocks from this place Ive been going there since I was a small child from that point up to now the food is great specially for convenience store the wings are top-notch you can ask anybody about that nice seasoning to them love their corn dogs they have a nice crunch and of course i dont know any place better for JoJos. The staff that works there are really cool people really nice and really respectful always love this corner store

Got dried out unseasoned wings, Phoned them today to advise them of the issue. The lady who answered phone gave me attuitude, trying to pick a fight with me. I will purposely bring the wing back tommarrow for they definitely dont think Im lieing.

I grew up eating chicken from here but yesterday I was in shock went and got 4 wings and they were still red in the inside I was gonna go back but the women that was working had a very bad attitude as well as the man that was there. Under cooked chicken is a no go I will not be visiting this spot again

The chicken is great. Probably the best fried wingd youre gonna get in Portland. Made fresh all day long because they sell out continually! So up til about 4pm youre never more than 45ish min away from just fried. I recommend snagging some od their hot sauce too. On top of that they have some other delicious fried food, a solid beer section and theyre always nice.
