Indigo Traders is like a beautiful, high-quality bazaar, evocative of adventure in far-away places. I love shopping here for gifts and beautiful items for our own home.

The girl at the counter poured us some Turkish tea and made us feel welcome. The intoxicating smell inside Indigo Traders is only outdone by the gorgeous spectrum of colorful cloth, glass, and ceramic. One of the true gems of Multnomah Village, but you might miss it if you’re not looking for it (it’s on the edge of downtown).

This company is a Portland gem! I am so happy to have found this place. Once you try handwoven Turkish towels, you will never ever go back to regular terry cloth towels. Their Turkish delight is to die for and both Samir and Karla are wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. This kind of local business is one that will keep me coming back for years to come!

Today I received the most gorgeous gift and was elated when I saw that it was from Indigo Traders! If you havent tried their products I strongly recommend you do. Their textiles are luxurious and such a treat to use every day. The craftsmanship is extraordinary, the colors are vibrant and timeless.

Weve purchased several towels through the Indigo Traders website over the last few years. The linen towels are absorbent and dry quickly, which makes them perfect for life on a boat. Not to mention, they are absolutely beautiful pieces of workmanship. The quality of the towels has always been excellent, and it is obvious that Indigo Traders cares a great deal about customer satisfaction. Our orders have always arrived in a timely manner with a hand-written note on the invoice.

This is a lovely store filled with handmade specialty goods. Turkish woven towels, handmade linens for a bed, and beautifully painted ceramics for the kitchen. They have a deal for kitchen or bathroom hand towels 2 for $25 with an array of colors to match any decor. From the outside it looks like two different stores but it is just organized into woven goods and ceramics.

Excellent place to find beautiful handwoven linens - Turkish towels, table cloths, and scarves - plus mid-eastern cooking and serving products. And its a warm and friendly place to feel like youre a traveler in another country. One of my favorite shops.

This is one of my favorite Portland stores! The amazing linens, leather goods, home goods, and bath products in this store are high quality and made beautifully. I have bought a number of products here, including soaps, scarves, glasses, and wallets, and all have exceeded my expectations. The owner and employees are kind and passionate - ask the owner about the products and to show you the loom!

There is no other place like this. The amazing fragrances of soaps and lotions imported from afar always makes my shoulders relax when I enter. The superior linens are a dream to use and only improve over time. Their Zataar and Duqqa have utterly ruined me for any other. I have gifted their olive oils and spices to friends and they have been likewise thrilled. High-quality and delightful goods. Lovely staff. Samir is always a consummate host.

Went to the store in about a month ago, and really doubted that the hand woven cotton towels were as absorbent as they said, I loved the store itself so well organized and inviting, but after washing the towels and using, my husband and I loved them. I recently ordered 2 on line the Soma Linen Towels for us and we love them so much - the feel, the look the absorbency. Great customer service, each towel wrapped so nicely with a thank you note and a note about one of the weavers. So happy to shop here!

Beautiful linens, and a very helpful clerk who helped us understand the different types of options available out of the large selection of towels to choose from. Many gorgeous styles of linens, and also clothing, purses, kitchen items, soaps, and like a bite of Morocco without actually flying there! :)

The owner will brew you Turkish coffee and share stories and great conversation while you peruse the treasures of this great shop. They have an old-world loom in the back room and sometimes you can see a master weaver making textiles right in the shop.Indigo Traders definitely is a jewel of the Multnomah Village shopping scene.

This shop specializes in hand woven textiles. It is a wonderful stop on the Multnomah Village tour. We happen to be there on a first Friday and had a chance to sample a wonderful array of ethnic dishes.
