We didnt have a major job and I was concerned that we wouldnt be taken seriously -- needed a rear view mirror repaired after I damaged it while backing up. Quite the contrary -- they were great! Timely, professional and cost-effective -- everything about this transaction was excellent. Weve been fortunate in avoiding major damage for quite some time, but when it occurs Ill head straight to Central Auto Body to get it fixed.

This is my second time visiting this shop and I’ve had only great experiences. I ended up with a scratch down the length of my car from someone’s attempt at a parallel park. I took it in and he decided to polish it out versus fully repainting, which sped the return up significantly. Within an hour I had my car back and it looked perfect; you couldn’t tell anything had happened. Everything was so fast, professional, and easy. Everyone I’ve interacted with here has been super friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work on their car.

Took a little longer than expected due to a backorder on a certain part, but other than that, my car looks great again. The staff was really helpful, and they also took care of the rental car process for me. Also, they didnt adjust my seat, which was the best part of all.

Lets face it - no one goes into a repair shop in a good mood. Its always a disaster that needs to be handled . . . (unless you are having your Lamborghini painted a flashy red!).I brought my Volvo into Central Auto Body for a repair for an accident that was not my fault . . . they were recommended by the other drivers insurance company. I was reticent - wanting to have a shop I had used previously do the work.Besides being very courteous and efficient I was amazed at the quality of work they did. I have a new silver Volvo S60 that I take great care of - and I was sure that I would be able to see the difference in the paint - as both the rear bumper and quarter panel had to be repaired.Central did a fabulous job - there was no indication that any work had been done on it. In only a few days my car was repaired, washed, and returned.I highly recommend Central Auto Body - Multnomah Village . . . they did excellent work and provided great customer service.

These guys are amazing! They finished a repair the same day (including obtaining parts!) on my 2019 Subaru Outback with high quality work, detailed the car and even installed a hitch as a courtesy. Bottom line is my car is better than before it was damaged! Wow!

They were really great! The process was very straight forward. They estimated it would be done in a week and did just that! Chase was great with telling me what they did to the car. They called for updates on the car and then called when it was ready. I needed a rental car throughout the process and they work very closely with Enterprise and that was a smooth process as well. All around great body shop. From quality of work to customer service. Lee truly cares about his customers and makes sure they are happy when their car is returned. I had done work to my car at a different body shop near my home and i hated it was not happy. So when I left it at this body shop I was worried especially because I was from riverside. Once i went to pick up my car i was blown away on the paint work. Everything looked great and Lee definitely took care of my car. They work with the insurance so it makes it hassle free for the customer. They also give you calls to update you and give you an estimate time your car will be ready. Absolutely loved this place.

Abbys Collision Center has been amazing twice for me. I chose them the first time because they are located in my neighborhood. I chose them the second time because they do quality work and actually care about their customers. Everyone there is wonderful but especially Tim. I was so grateful to have him in charge of my claim. He didnt just make sure that my car came back to me flawless, he also made sure it came back to me on time when I needed it. I didnt even need to contact my insurance at anytime during the process of repair. He handled everything for me.

The staff were very professional from the inspection all the way through the whole process. Central Auto Body helped give me a ride to work and even went as far as to let me have a bottle of touch up paint. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Very impressed 🌟⭐️💫

Self-serving with no attention to detail / Geico preferred shop.I was told my vehicle was ready but when I went to pick up I discovered it wasnt. They had failed to hook up my fog lights. When I opened my hood I discovered some stripping hadnt been secured and was dangling freely. In addition, they said they were still waiting on an emblem to arrive. I called back over a week later at which point they said they had to reorder it. They finally got it and applied it the next week. Lastly, I discovered the headlight they replaced hadnt been aligned and was pointing up about 20 degrees off (best guess). Who knows what else they did that I havent discovered yet. And that’s not the worst of it…They used a 3rd party wheel company that damaged my lug key. Initially I was told that all my lugs were stripped when in fact they werent, it was just the key. They said the key was already like that, which is absurd. I was then told they weren’t taking responsibility for it because it would cost a $1000 to repair. It wasnt until after I complained to Geico about it that they reimbursed me for the removal/replacement/repair. The manager I spoke with passed the blame to the wheel shop and glossed over all my other complaints.Lastly, they charged my insurance company the wheel mount/alignment work without actually doing it. Stating, they couldnt take the wheel off (because the wheel shop broke the key) and they “couldn’t” remove the wheel charges off the bill. I’m not an insurance adjuster but charging an insurance company for work that you didn’t do sounds fraudulent. I took it somewhere else to get finished and was told to bring back a receipt for reimbursement of the work they hadn’t completed. I provided that receipt and then had to ask for reimbursement an additional two more times before they would follow through. Every time I reached out to them I had to explain what had happened because apparently no one was taking responsibility for it. Initially, they stated they were waiting on final payment from Geico. However, the last time I called I was told it had already been paid and still no one had bothered to reach out to me or send a reimbursement check. It wasn’t until I called and reminded them for a third time that they cut me a check.UGH

I would not recommend this body shop at all. I usually never take my vehicle anywhere but the dealership, but I gave this place a try. I wish I never even went against what I usually do. This company is the worst. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE here for anything. You will regret it. They do not take ownership for there work. They do not guarantee there work. They damage your vehicle more then they do fixing it.I was told I already talked to the owner. There is nothing that can be done. Like I said no ownership or accountability. Sad companies like these try to good but bad ownership just like corporate bad management. No wonder these companies fail.

The owner is a kind-hearted gentleman who always treats you very fairly. I wouldnt even consider another shop at this point, having been a returning customer I think 3-4 times now. I have never felt sold anything I didnt actually need, nor do I ever feel like they do poor quality work or cut-corners to make a quick $. If you are looking for a professional-level body shop with a small-business friendliness and charm, Abbys is your place.

In contrast to the old repair shop that was here (which really struggled to give good service), Central Auto Body is completely on top of things.Fast service, honest assessments (they actually advised me that certain repairs were unnecessary) and quality work. Very pleased.

Based on having this shop and West Hills Collision Center look at the exact same car body issue I had, I would strongly recommend this Central Auto Body location for the following reasons:Transparency- Central Auto Body took the front off my car, walked me into the back of the shop, and explained everything that was going on visually. 5/5Communication- Central Auto Body explained in plain, understandable terms what the problem was, was the best solution was, and any contingencies I should be aware of. West Hills explanations were heavy on the auto-ese. When youre talking about engines some auto-ese is necessary but car frames arent rocket science, they can be explained in laypersons terms. 5/5Cost and reasonableness of proposed solution- West Hills wanted to do a ~$1000 rebuild on the underlying infrastructure of very pinpointed problem. While perhaps they wanted to play it safe and that is perhaps respectable, it was awfully funny because when assessing the issue they probed what my price range was since it was an older car and I said about $1000. Totally different story with Central Auto Body- they assessed the issue objectively based on the car condition without lots of probing questions, came up with a solution which they explained very well, and had the entire job done in the time it took West Hills to figure out what they wanted to do for 1/10 of the cost. There were some limitations of their easier solution, but they were reasonable given the cost difference and were explained well to me. 5/5I would highly recommend going here. You know those car commercials where the actors are like unrealistically happy and relieved when picking up their car? That was totally me when Central Auto Body had fixed everything, such a breath of fresh air. They were well-staffed for quoting repairs quickly and the office generally felt very pleasant and honest.

They took fantastic care of me and my car years ago when a semi crushed my parked Wrangler against a curb. I went back to them after my parked Liberty was smashed into (its a curse, apparently). They have always explained everything to me, were incredibly patient while my insurance sorted itself out with the assailants insurance, and were entirely willing to fix up the car even after my insurance considered it totaled. I went back to them because I knew I would be in good hands with their reliable loaner, and my car would be in good hands as well considering my Wrangler looked impeccable the last time. Furthermore, as a woman I am always a bit wary of being treated like an idiot or getting swindled despite my decent knowledge of my respective cars...I have always felt respected by the friendly folks at Abbys. Highly recommended!

BOTTOM LINE IS AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE!!!Sad I cant give a zero. Geico preferred shop. What a joke, but terrible service when it came to my repair. Didnt complete my car to the condition it should have been. Had to have my person go and do some vinyl wrapping work on newly painted front bumper of which they should not have painted and just wrapped. I even asked before leaving it and was told something different. Picked up my car 4 days after I was told it would be ready. The gaps in the new bumper were off. They fixed that, and realized thay didnt put my custom bowtie back on, but put the factory one on in stead? Then I get it home and checked under the car and did a full inspection. Found missing bolts/screws and a dent that didnt repaur, but was billed on my insurance. Insurance told me its has a life time warranty, but no way are they touching my car again. I couldnt have seen a minor issue, but in my book, Three strikes and your out of here....

I had to have my new cars body repaired twice in as many months. I am so glad I chose Central Auto Body, they are incredibly friendly and helpful, and most importantly my car looked better than when I brought it in thanks to the detailing!

Very bad experience!! Body work is fine... Its all the other things. I wasnt going to make a review... but what really set me off is the stolen items out of my car. Make sure you take your possessions out of your car! Because they will steal them. All of the inner cars compartments were rummaged through. So far Ive found that am missing my jumper cables, phone charger, and 5 pairs of sunglasses. 1 of those pairs were my dead grandfathers sunglasses, who was very special to me. When I went to pick up the car, it would not start because they let the battery die... The trunk was left open! Of course, this couldnt have been their doing- no. There was no reason they would have to go in the trunk... Well the car was there a month, and it was left open, not by me! Needless to say moisture collected and the whole car smelled like mold. But this was not their problem. There was no way they were even in the trunk?! We called AAA who recommends this shop... And only then would Abbys remedy the issue. All of the sudden there was a broken component in the trunk, causing water leakage. Ive had the car 5 years and have never had this problem. They couldnt explain really how this happened (but it wasnt their fault). However, they finally did complete the fix in the trunk and do a detail to get the mold stench out. These people are shady and I do not recommend them whatsoever. Save yourself the hassle.

I brought a minor front end wreck to Abbys with high expectations, based on previous reviews as of 2013. I had somewhat minor front-end damage after a brake failure on a hill & my vehicle crashed into a tree. Dave was a very nice guy up front, eager to please, easy to get along with, as were the rest of his staff.Im not sure if it was because insurance wouldnt cover the damage I had (I had to pay out of pocket), but this place treated me like I was virtually non-existent after I dropped my vehicle off. I had to call them several times after being promised a call-back & never receiving a call-back, to find out what was going on with the repairs. They found that my tail gate was rusted & I figured they could fix that while they were already doing work to my vehicle, but the fact is they didnt call me to ask about repairing it, it was not brought up until I called them a couple of days later.By the end (approximately a month after dropping my vehicle off) I told them I simply just needed my vehicle back as soon as possible because I was missing work without it, and at that point they actually did rush to get my vehicle back to me, but unfortunately the rush was evident.I got the vehicle back inoperable. When it was towed to them, it was operable. I had to purchase a new battery & have it towed to a mechanic to get the starter replaced. Im not saying that particular damage is their fault. The vehicle sat around for a while, and that could be the cause. Im not pointing fingers, I just feel like it should be mentioned. Now let me tell you about the quality of their work...I got the vehicle back with dirt scattered about the trunk, tools still in the trunk, and worse of all - there were CIGARETTE BUTTS in the trunk (even more disgusting to me as a non-smoker). Less than a year later, I was waxing my vehicle, and I am finding drip marks from paint all over the tailgate that they repaired. Also, they didnt clean up the over spray from the paint on the rear window of my vehicle, so the corners of the glass have a white-ish hue to them from the paint.Overall, I feel like this was the most unprofessional & irresponsible place Ive dealt with.

Is A very good place to get your car repair

After having my 1990 BMW 330ix painted at another shop and their tech left who was working on reassembling my car I took it to Abbys. All I wanted was to have exterior parts re-hung.George at Abbys recommended an up sell of having the car completely painted again. I declined.They then took a full year to NOT complete what should have been a couple week job. I offered to acquire the parts for reassembly. For some reason they were unable to identify parts required. I repeatedly asked for part numbers with literally month long delays before they were able to produce the part numbers. When George (and then Tim) did respond, they duplicated parts I had already provided.When I made an appointment to meet with George and flew up to from California, where I live. I arrived to find a note taped to the door saying the staff were off for Labor Day weekend. George refused to do anything and told me I misunderstood we had an appointment. There was no confusion. He clearly forgot and/or did not have the courtesy to let me know the shop was closed for the weekend, wherein wasting my weekend and airfare.Ultimately, I had to hire a lawyer because Tim would not respond to email or phone requests for status updates. When my lawyer sent a tow truck to pick up my unfinished car, they said they did not know where my car was.I dont know what is up with these other rave reviews, but my experience at Abbys was like dealing with an unorganized, unprofessional, and shady hot mess.Update:So as an update, I was billed $1800 for the above described work. I had to take the incomplete work to another body shop to have it redone. The car was left filthy inside and out and the polishing performed looked like it was just sanded down without a finished polish.As described above, only external work was requested. When I picked up the car I found the glove box had been dismantled for some unfathomable reason. Trying to determine whether the computer behind the box has been removed or damaged in some way.In the $1800 bill I paid, there was 8 hours worth of part sorting billed. 8 hours?!?! Does that make sense? When I asked for the parts I brought in with the car, Mr. Nazim and Tim were unable to locate them. How do you charge 8 hours for sorting parts and then say there are no parts?One of the parts I brought in with the car, prior to even beginning to think the project would still be incomplete in a year, was a $400 intake chip.When I asked Mr. Nikzad for the chip he initially said he didnt know what I was talking about. Then he responded, Chip chip potato chip. You can take my computer. Chip. And pointed at a desk top computer in the front office of his shop. He folded his arms and began talking over me when I tried to explain what the box the chip came in looked like and its dimensions. I asked him if he would at least look for it. I offered to give him a short list of some the parts that were with the car when I brought it in. He crossed his arms and grudgingly looked at it as I held it up and read it to him. He walked away multiple times while I was talking to him. Initially I paused because I thought he was getting a paper and pen or looking for relevant paperwork or something. This was not the case. He dug in a trash can and removed a glass coke bottle and started watering all the plants in the office. It was very odd childish behavior.He finally agreed to looks for the parts and said, Im lucky you didnt say you left a computer in the car. Which I interpreted as him calling me a liar. He asked me why I didnt take the chip when I brought the car in. To which I didnt respond because I did not want to sink to his level. But of course, I didnt take the chip because his shop manager had said the work would take less than a month and I wanted to keep all the parts together. I didnt expect the parts to be stolen in a locked garage.When you enter their shop, look around. There is a reason there are many dilapidated standing cars. A body shop should NOT look like a junkyard.

So, I had a pretty bad accident. Shredded the front end and destroyed some of the suspension. The insurance estimated it at almost $10,000 worth of work. Incredible!I took it to Abbys because I read great reviews and its near my house. Flavio is the man in charge. He runs the place with a real no-nonsense attitude that might be surprising to West Coast types and Oregonians.
