Makes me sad to write this after referring several customers to them. I had a great experience when they fixed my basement ac in Oct 2020. They took the unit out, replaced both fans, cleaned everything, new capacitors, etc. It was as good as new!Fast forward to June 2021. On the road and the ac breaks, which is rare that quickly, especially once they’ve been rebuilt. They tend to last a long time. I call them up and was hoping given that it was such a short time ago, they would warranty their work and make it a priority to get me in.FYI - I spent $1k on the repairs with them in Oct 2020.Instead I was met with rudeness, and a refusal to simply “write down my name” because they “have no way to do that” until after they move. I asked if I could be brought in ASAP after they move and was told “we can’t commit to anything and you’ll have to get in line behind all our other customers”. I asked if he thought maybe given that it was such a short time ago, we could be made a priority.. the answer was no. Obviously flustered (both of us) at this point - I asked for direction on where I could go instead. The guy proceeded to hang up on me.I raved about this place to fellow travelers and colleagues, as we are apart of several RV groups. I sent at least 3-5 people to them in the last 6 months. I was blown away to be treated this way - and I never received a call back (after I called and spoke to someone else and explained what the hell had just happened). Those of us who have RVs know how frustrating it is to find good people/places to help with repairs - I really thought I had found that with this company. Oh how wrong I was! Even when given the opportunity to do the right thing (this call was two weeks ago) - they refused.

Five star customer service! Its so rare these days, but these guys have got it. Chuck was soooo helpful—he went way above and beyond to help me solve my problem. I have an RV that I moved to Baja last year and the fridge broke. There are no service repair folks at all down there and I had been so frustrated trying to figure out what to do. After calling around, I thought for a minute that I might have to drive the entire thing back up from southern Baja which would have cost $500-600 in gas, on top of the repair expense. Chuck was SOOOO helpful. He patiently let me talk through the entire problem, spent about 20 minutes carefully trying to diagnose the issue over the phone, sold me the parts, and then agreed to do a Zoom call once I got back to help me figure out how to install it on my own. WHAT SERVICE! I will always go back to Laurelhurst Distributors for all of my fridge repair/RV needs and will tell all my friends!

I got taken at Camping World with a bad Dometic Air conditioner. It came with a locked compressor. Laurelhurst Distributors is a Dometic service and repair facility. I dropped off the bad unit and called after a month and they still had nothing back from Dometic. We went south for the winter and heard nothing but when I contacted them they had lost our address ( we had moved anyway) and they immediately sent a check for the bad unit. They are very honest and unlike Camping World take care of their customers!

The older gentleman who was helping me was very rude..... I could tell the second he started speaking to me that this was going to be an unpleasant experience. He was not interested in helping me find the part I was looking for, huffing and puffing the entire time. Then when checkout came, I handed him my American Express card which he said they didn’t except, which is fine..... but when I asked if that was a recent change or if they ever excepted Amex before and he started raising his voice and yelling “MasterCard and visa ONLY!” Over and over....... I don’t know what the dudes problem was, I never got angry.... I never said anything rude or was impatient. He stormed off and I just left because why would I give them my money at that point ? Who treats a customer that way? Suppliers for these parts are a dime a dozen...... I will never return here again, which is unfortunate because the rest of the staff seems professional and has great customer service.

Called in on Saturday morning on a holiday weekend looking for an LED bulb and despite being closed they were there and answered the phone. Told him what I needed and he said it was in stock and that if I was close he would wait a few minutes for me. Jumped in the car and five minutes later was met at the door with the bulb in hand. A quick transaction and few kind exchanges and we were both back to our holiday weekend. Apache RV referred Laurelhurst Distributors to get RV stove parts, which Apache said would be cheaper.I arrived at LD, Ed helped me, very knowledgeable, he priced each part but decided to buy new stove instead since was better buy. Good service. They had stove in stock.We will go back.

Like others have said, these folks show more customer service...really, customer service, than any shop Ive come across in my 25 years of RVing. They do what is right for YOU! Ive recommended them to many friends over the years and none have ever been even slightly disappointed. Theyve consistently repaired and only recommend a complete change-out for new after very clearly pointing out need. Just cant say enough good things about this company.

Had an interesting experience here my first time calling in after I had received a bad part. Turns out this company is one of the last around. Management and ownership working directly with the employees and customers. And they care!! A simple mistake was made, however the same day I had the part personally hand delivered after hours roughly a 90 min drive out past stayton. The next day I had an owner following up with me by phone. I really really appreciate Jeremy taking the time to make my experience the best possible. I really really appreciate the effort and ownership that the gal up front made when she brought me the working part, also Chad in the back for the advice and bench testing my parts. The best. These guys saved my ass more then once. I have bought a furnace from them and other hard to get parts. i am sure they are the only ones in the industry that knows what they are talking about. The relaxed feel makes me right at home. and when i dont know what a part is called they dont make me feel like the fool i am. I spent 400.00 dollars on amazon on control boards and a thermostat. for duel a/c units and the rear still didnt work. My man sold me a cover with the switchs. brand new for 65 bucks. and i will be buying the same thing for the front unit because the fancy expensive stuff went out like he said it would. Just like everyone else. This is the last place i stooped.I have been to all the other parts dealers. Know one has the knowledge or the customer service of our home town dealer. And to date Laurerhust has save me 1400.00 dollars. And if i didnt do Amazon it would be 1700.00. So this is the only place i will go. i dont write reviews. but i owe them my sanity.

Very disgusted with this business. First, they sent the wrong part to the business near us where we were to pick up the airconditioner shroud. So when I made the 40 minute trip to pick up the part, it was the wrong one. I was told I would need to drive to Portland to get the correct shroud. We drove to Portland with our 4th whee attached since we were heading out of state. When we got to Laurelhurst Distributing, they took another 40 minutes to put the shroud together, even though they knew we were coming. And then they made my husband put the part on even though they cost us much frustrating time and expense. There was a price difference but we were not refunded for that.

Last year had Camper AC replaced. They are experts and cost far less than local RV places. This year had to have Refer replaced. Made an appointment and they rebuilt it in one day.

My grandma and grandpa use to go to this place for years and they were always very nice and very fair. Now that I own a motor home they have helped me several times these people are alsome!!!! And very helpful. They wouldnt make an appt for me.told me three times to go home and try to fix it after they too me what to do. I fixed my frig.,hot water heater, and frig with there help most shops would make an appt for u and charge u alot for doing very little thanks guys ur alsome

The guys at Laurelhurst rock. I work for an RV repair shop in Tri-Cities WA and we order fairly frequently with these guys. Jeremy is incredibly knowledgeable and definitely has our best interest at heart and thats a rare thing to find in the business world.A recent experience: I ordered a very important part early in the week for a customer who had plans to go out of town the very next day. Most days we can get our parts in the following day, if we order in time. We did order in time, but thanks to UPS our part was mis-sorted and sent to Eugene, BACK to Portland and then finally to us (or so we hope, we still havent seen it). I called Jeremy and he got me the tracking information, reamed out UPS (twice, I think) for their slip-up and OFFERED TO PUT ONE OF HIS GUYS IN A CAR AND HAVE HIM DRIVE THE 3.5 HOURS TO BRING ME THE PART. Thats unreal.You guys are awesome, hope all your clients see that and karma comes back around and KISSES you in the butt!
