Went there for a used car and he gave me a deal $2k under the Kelly Blue Book price, put in a new alternator for free, and referred me to another shop who would fix my AC as well for free. I bought a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium from Max. I had a pre-purchase inspection done it by a nearby mechanic and everything came back great, except for two missing lug nuts.I went to get the lug nuts replaced and Max paid me for them even though two weeks after I bought the car.The only bad part was trying to back out onto Columbia boulevard! Very helpful!! Shown a carfax and was upfront and honest with us. The car heated seats shown to not work correctly so price was dropped to compensate. I asked about cd player was informed that he dont know, I didnt check it till after I purchased it did play but started not working properly after a few minutes but completely not his fault. I would go back if I given the chance.

Max was excellent to deal with. He was very open and honest about everything regarding the vehicle I purchased from him. He replaced a cracked windshield, a power steering pump (which was fine all along), and even put a whole new set of hub caps on the car when one flew off during a test drive. He is willing to work with his customers even after the sale. The car was extremely clean/detailed (which is rare when buying used vehicles) and drives great. Highly recommended folks! This was my first time buying a car. Max made the process as easy as possible, and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The car (2009 Subaru forester) was in exactly the condition described on his website, and Max even agreed to fix a few little things here and there before purchase that I had noticed during my walk around. I am writing this review a few months later and the car is running great! When I took it to the Willsonville Subaru dealership to have the passenger airbag replaced (due to a vehicle recall), they commented on how well the car looked and said that it was in great shape. If you are looking for a car, look no further, this is the place to get it!

Purchased vehicle at Max Auto, I made the mistake of not getting a vehicle inspection, dont do the same get a full inspectionafter purchase and the cold weather i checked anti freeze in radiatoropened cap, full of milky foam, contacted Max Auto and said it was from transmission lines into radiator, said they thought they had it all out, said to flush it out, took to auto repair for flush, ended up in $3200 in repairscontacted Max Auto again just run around. BEWARE
