You can spend a day there before you will get your car.Just be preparedSuper slow. Like really really slow.Woodburn location way better managed and a lot faster.I guess this one needs management and stuff update.We buy and transport lots of cars but Copart North is a hole 🕳 where you can loose all your important and expensive TIME .

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went today to only drop off insurance paper work. They have a system where you have to use their online system to “check in” before they will let you in. I waited over 15 minutes past the time they said I would be waiting and no one was in line the entire time. I was promptly greeted by a very disrespectful woman who told me I had to wait outside. I let her know it was raining pretty good out and that no one had ever called me so wanted to make sure I was notForgotten, and then I asked if I could wait in the lobby so as to not get soaked from the rain. I was told to wait outside, and to come in when I was called. I promptly left and will never return.

Thought I was working with them on shipping and storage. In the end I got squeezed for another $100 in storage despite being assured the week before I was not going to be. Buyer beware, if your not within their “area,” you will be paying those fees. I didn’t realize that being 4 hours away would be outside their delivery area.

Well word to the wise. This Copart definitely operates on Turtle speed. I go to the counter that lady gives me the title and the paperwork says go outside theyll load you... Then Im waiting Im the only one here so, I go back inside and they tell me know this another step you got to do on the app. Well, Ive never known there to be another step why didnt they tell that to me before I went out the door the first time. Look people, if you dont want to be here go find something else to do because youre holding up peoples lives because youre disorganized. I visit all the Copart in the country I am a Coast-to-Coast driver and Ive never experienced anything like this before from any of the Copart in this country. Somebody needs to do something maybe the powers to be would be willing to step in and make some changes?

I got my truck and camper rear ended and the truck was totaled but the camper had minor cosmetic damage to it. Geico and I decided that I will keep the camper and repair it. co part auctioned off my truck and camper when geico specifically told them to separate them and not to auction off the camper! Mind you its a brand NEW camper i only had it for 4 months and i did not sign a release on the camper nor they have the title for it which makes it highly illegal for them to auction it off! they say they are working on getting it back from the buyer. what a fiasco and im pretty livid.

They have a virtual line that really makes it easy to stay safe during these times. The restrooms are closed for safety but there is a portable outside just in case. I am in awe of how organized things are at the front desk. The employees take a lot of guff from people and I have so much respect for the patience and customer service levels at Copart- Id want to slap someone if I worked here.

The worst customer service Ive ever experienced. When I went to preview a car before purchase there were two key fobs, after purchasing the car I notice that a key fob was missing after I called them they told me they cannot do anything about it because the car has left the lot. And after asking if they could check the records of the members who previewed after me they lied to me and told me there are no such records even thought every previewer has to specify their account number and the lot visiting on a sheet of paper.

Got the car and only damaged described was mold, chemical but after trying to start it oil leaked from engine bay, got under the car and there was a hole in the engine, turns out that the engine was already blown. I wish that copart would work on their honesty. This time big lost.

Very slow service!!!! Worker standing around and treat you like they will get to you if they feel like it.... Ive bought a few rigs there and always the same thing. I thought I was at a US post office, the buy fees are out of control! I bought a 3k rig and had to pay 4k that is with a premium account (dealer) and paid with cashiers check with no late fees, IAA is a much better place to buy and they treat you as a customer.

They have disappointed customer service. I had an accident and some how my insurance sent the car to them and then the insurance decided to fix the car. The license plate number stayed at copart. I called them three times and every time they say we will ship it to you and it will take 3 to 5 business day and I wait a week and called them again and they say the same thing again and again.I’m not Sure Where is my license plate number right now.Please if some one cares about the reviews over here and can help me to get my license plate number, let me know.

DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT LET YOUR INSURANCE SEND YOUR CAR HERE. If I could give zero stars I would they stole over 1000 dollars yes ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of after market items as well as personal items from my fiancé’s car. They would not take responsibility and told him it was probably the tow company so there’s nothing they would do about it. I WOULD NEVER GO HERE EVER, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE.

Spent 4,000$ on a car from Copart. 2 days later the transmission went out. 3800$ in repairs. When I called their customer service said “unfortunately there is nothing we can do”. My recommendation is PLEASE don’t buy a car from these people.

I bought an old truck on purpose. The truck was described as running and driving....and it was after a battery and new tire. Other than that I feel like I got what I paid for. I paid for delivery and it was delivered 3 days after I bought it. I thought I would get a call a day before or something but I didnt. I got a call from the driver saying he was an hour away. It turned out he was like 2 hours away but thats cool, I was just happy it got delivered that fast.The driver did an excellent job placing the truck exactly where I wanted as well. Would I buy from this place again. Yes. Can they improve on communicating delivery...yes. But youre also saving a ton of cash so Im good with it.

Been buying cars from Copart for 6 months now.. I have had no trouble dealing with them at all. I have purchased 1 car from this location and 5 cars from other locations and have not been disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful and they delivered my car fast and easy! Would definitely visit again if the right deal comes along.

Always a great place to look for cars for cheap. Im not an auction hunter or anything. So its cool to come in and check out cars that you might never think youd be into. Staff is always super friendly, even remembering me by name even though I only come in maybe once every few months.

If I could rate a ZERO, I would. I tried donating my car to a charity, and this was the towing company that charity used. They scheduled pick up for Friday between 8 and noon... I stayed home waiting (and missed doing several activities) and at noon hadnt heard anything so I called them. They said theyd have the driver call me. At 3 PM I still hadnt gotten called back so I called them, talked to the dispatcher and he rescheduled for Monday morning, between 8-12.On Monday, I got a call (at 11:15) from customer service to schedule my pick up... apparently the one the dispatcher scheduled was NOT actually scheduled. They rescheduled yet again... between 8-12, and guess what? They didnt show up by noon. I called and was irate, telling them it was the 3rd time this had happened. They said Oh, our driver is on the way (which they had also told me the previous Friday)... well, almost an hour after the 4 hour window and after the 3rd day of waiting, he finally showed. It was a huge hassle and I wasted 3 days waiting for someone to come. I didnt feel comfortable just leaving my vehicle to be picked up without me here after that experience. Not again.

Bought 2 cars today. They said that they were both running and could be driven. Ah no. The one had tow only on the key and the other one could not even get it started. Apparently the manager said if it moves 12 inches backwards and forwards then the consider it a runner. So why did it have tow only on the key. Well they lost a customer today. Will not be back to Portland north.

If you find out that your insurance company is towing your car there, tell the NO! My car was towed to Copart, it did not go to multiple locations, ONLY Copart. Within 2 hours of my car being deemed a total loss, I was there to retrieve my belongings from my vehicle. They pulled the car forward from the lot. They had gone through all of my property and put it in two bags that happened to be in my car. That had NO right to rifle through my vehicle and certainly had NO RIGHT to remove my personal property. Two items of value were missing from my car. When I confronted the front office staff about the missing items, I was blown off and told my car changed hands several times. This is not true and this was verified by my insurance company. I was told to talk to my insurance adjuster regarding the missing items. I have since filed a police report.

Copart made my life a living hell.Everyone here is a thief and cheat. THERE IS NO Member Protection Pledge. If you go here you have NO RIGHTS as a consumer. Remember that.This place will scam you at every corner with remorse.Their illegal practices are protected my dirty lawyers. Not even God will be able to save you.On Feb 21, 2019, I won a bid on a car advertised as “Run & Drive. After going to the facility to pickup up the car, it would not start because of a blown head gasket (milky residue on dip stick). This mechanical damage was not reported on the online bid page. I tried to refuse the car but, was only given two options: 1. to purchase or, 2. to re-list and subsequently lose $450. I ended up paying Copart $708 plus $55 in storage fees and $65 for a Trip Permit that was never used and, the $65 was double the normal amount of $32. They sold me a Trip Permit KNOWING the car would not start! AND did not refund my money. These people have no human decency, no integrity, no human soul...In addition, I was without the use of a car (and still without a car). I had to rent a Lyft car to get to work and, I enclose a copy of an invoice showing the rental cost of $40.This ordeal has caused me loss of time from work as well as mental anguish.Trey Cluck (General Manager) is nothing but a scammer salesmen along with the corporation he works for.

I have been buying cars here for over a year and the service is incredibly slow. It really takes talent to work so bad. You have to wait an hour to get the keys, hour to wait for the 6th person to leave the yard, and hour to have them jump start the car. Seriously, one of the worst locations ever. Portland South location in Woodburn is just so much better. Really, come here only if you have too much free time.

I dont know what happened to some of the bad reviewers but my experience was five-star from start to finish. You definitely want to go in and touch any car you plan on bidding on or buying from this, or any auction and I would assume the bad result is from people who didnt take the time to start the car and listen to the engine to see if it was bad before they bought it. I bought a repo from an extremely nice professional and knowledgeable representative named Roger who walked me through the process from start to finish and I was out of there with my new car in less than 15 or 20 minutes. These guys are the greatest and the money you can save, as long as youre careful, is ridiculous

They make people wait for no reason. If there arent enough vests then buying more is a simple solution. Theres plenty of space in the yard so its not a crowding issue. We had to wait for an hour just for a vest so we could enter the yard. Ridiculous and unnecessary to waste peoples time.

Since they changed their policy about how many people are in the yard you have to make sure you have an hour or so to wait around until one of the 6 people come back. Makes it a nightmare if you come with a partner to inspect a rig. Doubt I will be buying anything else through them.

The costumer service is just Ridiculous. Bought a car with minor dents and scratches, but turned out to be mechanical damage! they just said Sorry we cant do anything about it. The car didnt even leave the lot, realized it had a bad transmission on the lot. The car costed me almost double of what its worth. Id recommend to find a more Honest Auction and that are People, cant consider copart as people, theyre just super rude and Dishonest. Thats not Clean Money COPART!! it will all come back to you one day, all these people getting ripped off are loosing a little money, but you will loose a lot more, Remember these words.

Our car was totalled in march ended up here. Copart lost our plates so we werent able to reuse them for our new car. They were supposed to pay for them since they lost a plate. We bought our new car, wentertainment in and showed proof of purchase so they could repay us and Benjamin said the register would not let him pay us but that the company would send us a check this was back in March and were in May. I havent had a call from them nor have they sent my money!

Failed to pickup vehicle twice and the third attempt happened at 9:30pm after no warning it would be that late. Cant reach them after hours and cant leave a voicemail because their inbox is continually full. During business hours, it will take about 20 minutes on hold to speak to someone.
