Mo has been very accommodating regarding showing me the vehicle remotely and accepting my payment schedule. I live in Texas and am purchasing a vehicle from his dealership in Oregon. I have not yet taken possession of the vehicle but so far the experience with ABS has been fine.

Mo sold me a car and it was a very positive experience. He was super friendly and professional and obviously knows a ton about cars. He explained what he had done to the car I was interested in and justified its price. On the test drive the wipers were not in top form and so he ordered a new set of blades and had them delivered to my house. I had never gone to an independent dealer before but was impressed by how quickly all the paperwork was over.

The best car buying experience ever. He is the most honest business man I have ever did business with. He worked with me even though I was unable to go in and handle the process of buying a vehicle in a normal way. He was understanding that I was having medical issue and worked with me and my mom without any complaints . He went above and beyond to make sure and my kids have a safe car that was a price I could afford . He even made sure to put new tires in because he was worried about 2 of them . Without charging me .This dealer truly knows his business and is honest and goes above and beyond no matter what amount of commission he is going to make . Treats each customer the same from the Tesla buyer to the 1960 Honda buyer who can’t afford more then a few thousand.

BUYERS BEWARE! A few months ago I noticed a van on Mos website for sale. I called to inquire about the van and ultimately agreed to place a $500 hold deposit on the van until we could drive from Central Oregon to Portland that weekend. 3 days later we purchased a local van that better suited our needs. As a courtesy, I called Mo immediately to inform him of our decision and requested that the $500 be refunded. He refused and went on to waffle about how he needed to speak with his partner about the refund. Mo never explained that the $500 deposit was non-refundable over the phone. I never signed any sort of agreement. He just happily ran my credit card on our initial call with no discussion about his intention to keep our money regardless of whether or not we purchased the van. Shame on me for allowing a used car dealer to run my card without any signed documentation but Im still very disappointed that he lacked the integrity to refund our money. I assume the van has since sold (as I dont see it on his website) and were still out $500. Be very careful if you choose to purchase a vehicle here. Do not put a deposit down over the phone unless you have something in writing guaranteeing your refund if you choose not to purchase. I hope this review will protect other unsuspecting buyers from experiencing a a similar disappointment while shopping for a vehicle in Portland.

Moe is very good at pulling the wool over your eyes and taking advantage of hard-working people that have little knowledge on cars. I would never come back here for a car again, save yourself some hassle and use CarMax or something that isnt this shady guy.

Amazing. Mo sold us a great 2008 Odesseu and was transparent and his people worked with us to have maintenance done before we drive off the lot for a 4000 mile journey to Miami. A year later he is still helping us taking our phone call on Memorial Day when we needed to find the stereo reset code. He spent two days getting us the code. He didn’t have to do that at all obviously but he did and we are grateful. I’ll buy more cars from Mo!!!

Generally, customers have the rights to take a vehicle to a pre-purchase inspection before purchasing a vehicle. This place is a BIG SCAM because they don’t let you take it inspected when they don’t even provide the information on a critical repair. Please waste your time here. Their customer service person is also very rude!

After purchasing a vehicle without any kind of warranty I didnt expect any help after the deal was done. My battery died at a nearby gas station Mo came down personally to help me out. He had his mechanic replace an out bulb and he put the new battery in for me. I will absolutely be recommending his dealership to friends and family. :)

Buyers Beware! I asked to put a deposit on a vehicle to hold for about $200! Then I asked if I could get my deposit back as I didn’t want to purchase the vehicle anymore! No where on the website that says anything about a refund policy they said that that couldn’t give me my refund on my $200 deposit when I never signed anything! They only said anything about a refund policy when I asked for my money back! Very unprofessional and rude!

Mo was genuinely kind and patient with us as we test drove numerous vehicles late into the evening. He gave us a fair price for a trade-in. And he followed through on addressing a couple of small issues we wanted to have taken care of on the new vehicle, again for a fair price. It is obvious that he cares about his customers. Very bad experience, the worst ever happens to me. He listed the car description in perfect condition on car fax, but the vehicle had issues, seat belt engine light and the has sensor didn’t work, ask him to return the car which he didn’t want It back. He told me they could fix it at my cost- this was after a few day from purchase

Dealer didnt even wash the car prior to looking at it. They had put fix a flat in the rear passenger tire visible foam on tire. Tires were bald. And was asking almost 7grand for itIn reply to the reply.We showed up 10 min early if that. If your on time your late which you were to the appointment. You showed up after the scheduled 430. We waited for you to get back to the lot. Your detailer wasnt going to be able to clean both in side and outside the car. Which they werent working on it. So no they werent in process.The tires had 5k maybe if that. Thats not even 6 months worth of average driving not including trips. I didnt even mention the worn brakes. The broken fog light on the driver side (had hole in cover). The front bumper that had been replaced and not aligned or attached fully.And your full asking price of the car is nearly 7g thats why I mentioned that price.So no sir you were not trying to do a favor. You were trying to make a $ off a single mom of 5Id also like in the car was blocked in by another car which would have made it difficult to test drive. Im honestly questioning the validity of these 5 star reviews

This is the second review Ive given mo at abs auto and I want to say that he is definitely a man of his word. As with any used vehicle sometimes things happen and I needed work on my vehicle Id bought through mo. Well Id forgotten he said that if anything ever happened to my vehicle he would do his best to help. Well my wife reminded me what he said so I called mo and yes sir he found a way to get my vehicle fixed at half the price and I cant say enough about this man. I was very nervous about buying an older used car, but Mo had what I wanted, so I went to check it out. He is very friendly and got me in it to test drive, right away. He worked with me on the price and assured me that I would have his support should anything happen with the car. I bought it. A few days later, a weird issue arose so I called him. Buying a car from Mo was a great experience. I found the car on craigslist and called to make an appointment, and he was available immediately. The office is not a flashy showroom but dont let that fool you, the business is legit. I got a fair price on a car that had been freshly inspected and detailed, the paperwork process was quick and easy, and Mo took care of all the DMV stuff and I received plates and registration on time, not even two weeks later. Highly recommend supporting a small local business.

Mo helped me find the car I wanted. The price was great and he got all the DMV done and he told me where to go for the DEQ test because the DEQ was closed. I got everything I needed at a great price.

I want to give more than one star, because Mo seems nice, but at this point, I cant. When I was considering buying the vehicle, Mo told me that if I notice any problems that he overlooked that I could bring the vehicle back and he will fix it for free. About a week into driving the van, I noticed that the temperature gauge was spiking and there was smoke coming from under the hood. So I called Mo and let him know, and he told me to bring the van in to be fixed. I figured, based on what Mo said, and since it wasnt something that I couldve done in the short time I had been driving it, that it would be fixed for free. Once it was fixed though, he charged me 50 dollars and said, So are you going to pay now, or what?Before I drove it off the lot, Mo told me that the AC didnt work, the windows dont roll down, that they would weld a large hole in the floor and would fix the serpentine belt. They fixed the serpentine belt right then and there, but the other issues?I brought the van in 4 separate times when Mo told me to bring it in to have it fixed. The first time, the mechanics yelled at me, then got into an argument with Mo and after waiting around for about 45 minutes, Mo said that they wouldnt be able to fix it tonight. So I drove back home, and told him I would be by on a certain day to try to get it fixed again. 2nd time I go in, same result. NOTHING gets fixed and I waste a bunch of time and gas driving there and waiting around since the mechanics wouldnt even look at my van. 3rd time, I had some friends who drove down to have lunch with me. Both Mo and the mechanic told me to bring the van in at 3pm and they will fix it. I did that, and my friends drove their own vehicle so we could go get lunch while the van was being worked on. When we got there, I asked how long it was going to be to fix the three problems. Mo said he would check, and we began to wait. After about 20 minutes with no response/update, my friend and I went to find Mo and ask about it. He said that he still didnt know if the mechanics could work on it or not. Another 20 minutes pass by and my friend says that he has to leave soon, so we need to get a move on. My van still hadnt even been looked at by this time. So we get the part, nothing gets fixed and we leave. The fourth time, they tell me to come in at a certain time. I go in and speak with Mo about how frustrating it is to bring the van in repeatedly and just get sent away. Mo then has the audacity to say that my friends cost him a sale because of where they parked in his lot! The mechanic tells me that I can come back at a certain time and he will fix the problems. I bring the car back at the specific time and am told that the mechanic is busy, but he can look at one of the issues. The mechanic spends about 15 minutes looking at my vehicle, then says theres nothing he can do because its an electrical problem.Not only did Mo promise me things that he has yet to deliver on, I wasted time and money by going to his shop when he told me to! Ive also texted him numerous times, and the only time I get a response is days after I text him and I have to call him, otherwise he doesnt respond. I texted him last week, and asked if I could make an early payment, thinking that he would surely reply quickly considering I would be giving him money, but I havent gotten any sort of response. I bought this van under the impression that the problems with it would be fixed by Mo and his team, but I gave up trying to hold him to his word and am now just going to find a mechanic I can trust.I have one more payment on the van, and after that, I am wiping my hands of this place. If something positive happens during that final exchange, I will update this post.

Place is a dump and looks pretty shady take your business elsewhere

So I am writing a tentative review but I believe people should here this from start to whatever the end is.I saw an ad on craigslist for a 2007 VW Eos and I had been looking for a hardtop convertible for awhile now, So I went took it for a test drive it had a few small issues But Mo the owner of the place said he would have them fixed as he had just gotten the car that day and his mechanic had yet to go over it I told him I was going to sleep on it as I am not an impulse buyer. I waited a few days called him back and we negotiated a fair price and I drove it home top down smiling from ear to ear. I was able to drive it for 3 days on the fort day I went to go someplace and it would not start no click click click like the starter had went and it would not come out of park I can not even get it into neutral to see it I can push start it. Now when you buy used it is usually AS IS most car dealers would tell you sorry about your luck. But I called Mo and told him what was going on and he said he could do nothing about it that night as it was late friday but he would have his mechanic come have a look at it on Monday. well today is Monday and true to his word he has had a mechanic come to my home and he came with them unfortunately the problem can not be fixed in my driveway so he will be sending a tow truck tomorrow and having it taken to the shop Shi-Marys and they will see what they can do. and MO is paying for all of this So his place might look a little disorganized but so far I am impressed with it. Now tomorrow after the mechanic looks at it and gives him an estimate of what it will cost to fix it might be another story but I will post again and to see if I add the other 2 stars or not ok as you can see i added the other 2 stars being that Mo picked up my car he covered the tow and the diagnostics all i paid for was the part and that was extremely fair. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family who are looking to buy a used car.
