Was rear ended and decided to have the drivers insurance go through McCollum rather than someone in their network, and I am so happy with this choice. They made it as easy as possible (cant say the same for USAA) to get scheduled, as well as drop off my car and pick up my rental in the same trip. Fantastic people. The girls up front are great. I felt like I was kept in the loop consistently regarding my cars status. The impacted area looks better than new. They do a great job and cleaning the vehicle inside and out and clearly take great pride. I cannot suggest McCollums enough. Thank you guys!

My car was in an accident while I was on vacation in Portland. Several mechanics wouldn’t even look at the car for 6 weeks. McCollum Auto Body took my car in and began repairs right away. Both the body work and the mechanical repairs to the suspension were done perfectly and on time. My car drives as good as new. The staff is very professional and provided excellent communication so I could make plans to get my car home. Very satisfied

So easy and stress free! I got my car back within 4-5 days and about 5 day earlier than they originally told me! Car came back cleaner than when we left it. They also coordinated a rental car for us and made it an overall easy experience!

This place has seriously gone down hill! We have had our vehicle repaired there twice, Great work on repairs and they had it done on time... The second time we went in, they told us about the Detail for Life program. Detail 4 times a year for life? Great deal, so we thought! Started out with a FULL REAL DETAIL, inside & out. Now its like going through a high school carwash! Some of those are Better... NO Detailing being done anymore! They dont even dry the cars. Very disappointed! Dont sign up for the detail for life... Waste of time!

McCollum does excellent work, and the staff is very friendly. However, they took over 3 weeks longer to complete the service on my car than they had estimated (taking 6 weeks total instead of 3), and without a clear explanation as to why or a realistic estimate of when the vehicle would be ready for pickup. Furthermore, they only completed 1 of 2 claims/orders that they had been commissioned to do, and appeared confused about the existence of a secondary claim even though we had clearly gone through both orders at the time of drop-off. Again, they are very friendly and do excellent body work. But at least in my case, something seems to have been faulty with regard to their internal organization/communication between different departments as well as their communication of accurate and timely information with the customer.Should the second claim be rectified and completed in a timely manner, I will be happy to revisit my assessment. Barring that, however, it is currently difficult for me to recommend this shop to family, friends, and colleagues.

I went to McCollum this afternoon to get an estimate on a bit of damage to my cars clear coat — instead, Aaron spent a few minutes with some solvent and a few more minutes waxing and buffing the blemish away. I have yet to spend any money at McCollum, but Ill definitely be giving them my business when I inevitably need their services. Thank you!

Wow! Some of the best people you will meet in the state of Oregon. I have had multiple cars repaired at McCollum over the last ten years (thanks to Portland auto vandalism mostly) and have always been happy with their work, timeliness and professional courtesy.

Usually extremely pleased with service from McCollum. Perhaps this time they were just really busy. I had my car in for repairs for a minor accident and it took a bit longer than expected to get it back. No problem there, but to have it returned to me dirty, no car wash or detail, when I am a free details for life of the vehicle customer was a letdown. Also no one explained or showed the work that was done. Just had to rely on the photos on my claim report. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Repair was done quickly, the rental vehicle was delivered the same time I dropped off my vehicle for repair so I didnt have to worry about how to get it. The repairs look beautiful and they detailed my vehicle when it was done. The staff is amazing and I will recommend them to anyone looking for body and/or paint repair whole heartedly.

McCollum took excellent care of my car. They have a close functional relationship with the enterprise rental nearby. So not only did I drop off and pick up my car at one spot I was able to handle all of the rental process right there in the lobby. They kept me notified via text as to my cars repair progress. Their communication is excellent. My car is not even a year old yet so this hit and run accident caused me a lot of stress! My Subaru is now restored to its prior glory and the process was incredibly positive. They are a Subaru certified collision repair shop which was definitely a selling point besides their great reputation. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

I was involved in a hit and run and needed to get repairs to my driver side. They were on top of everything. Tow truck picked it up and got it there within an hour of calling. They had all the parts ordered and got the repairs done in the time frame they gave me. They were very helpful and gave me updates every couple of days with what they found and the progress they were making. Will definitely use them for anything in the future!

My car was initially quoted 9 days for the repair to be compete. It was done in less than a week! I was constantly getting text updates from Joy on how the repair was coming along, excellent communication on her part! The process was so smooth and very easy to say the least. The repairs seem fine. But they had my car for 7 weeks, during which it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to keep me updated about what was going on. My car wasnt ready until over a week past when they had said it would be, but I didnt find that out until I called in to make sure it was ready, and had to call 3 times before I actually got anyone on the phone. Tried leaving voicemails, but no one was getting back to me.Far too much frustration and stress to be dealing with in the midst of also recovering from a car accident.

They did a great job replacing a busted mirror for me. Excellent customer service, good communication, they accommodated my requests, and they cleaned my car for me as well as completing the repair! Totally unexpected and delightful.

My initial thought of this company was that I would receive my vehicle back in a timely fashion. This was not the case at all in fact I dropped my vehicle off June 15th and did not receive my vehicle back until July 16th. I did not Speak to a representative in person however via text I received notifications that my vehicle would be completed on June 29. After Constant pushback and rescheduling I knew something was wrong. This error also led to my rental exceeding the date of coverage with my insurance company so McCollum had to cover the remaining days. Last but not least when I arrive to pick up my vehicle I noticed a few scuffs on the vehicle the employee told me that that was Due to the wax they applied on the vehicle. Anxious to get home I pulled up into the driveway and walked around the vehicle noticing more scratches on the trunk of the vehicle!! At that point I called McCollum back and reported my findings. I was told to bring the vehicle back AGAIN so they could check out the vehicle. I don’t know about anyone else but I feel like this is terrible service not only did my vehicle come back days after date expected to be completed but it also returned with additional scuffs and marks that I did not create. Not to mention the vehicle was dirty and I know good and well the vehicle sits outside until they are able to work on it inside the very least they could do is run water over the vehicle and rinse off the dirt and dust that has been collecting for the last 30 days.

My vehicle was returned to me with an incorrect wheel, incorrect color, and interior misrepair. Everything was communicated clearly upon drop-off, but apparent poor note taking by the staff resulted in many prolonged headaches. Both work done by the shop themselves, and a 3rd party of which they contracted, was incorrect. The expectation was set that I would be contacted and that was never fulfilled.

Only shop in town I trust for almost 20 years.I wouldn’t even consider any other shop.The best in my experience.

The job was done great. It took a little longer than anticipated. Despite the length of time it took to get thr part i am happy with the job. The auto detailing i get for the life of the car...well. I think they might have forgot to detail the inside. The exterior was great though. My only concern is that my battery was dead when i got to my car. I know i drove it there with no worries with the battery???? My biggest complaint is .. My car was returned to me two months ago...with the agreement that I would bring the cat back to have the racing stripe decals put on. Its been two months Witjout receiving a phone call. Its a sticker! How long am I supposed to wait on the USPS to ::deliver the sticker for them to stick on Mt hood?

Terrible my car is still giving issues months after it was repaired. And I have been blown off time after Time. To have get it back in.

I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service and the experience that I have had with McCullom I would never return and I would never recommend McCullom The brand new bumper that was installed was misaligned because they didn’t bother to order a clip so that they could properly install it I now have to wait for that part and return for another visit Whoever installed my brand new wheel obviously used a tool that made two visible gouges on the brand new wheel Also there is a wheel bearing issue related to the impact of my accident and McCollum did not go to bat for me and help me as an advocate with the responsible party’s insurance I brought McCullom $4,500 worth of business but they couldn’t be bothered to be my advocate Disheartening, deeply disappointing and upsetting for sure

This auto body shop is great! The service is fast, they keep you updated every other day on what’s going on, and they are quick to respond. Lastly, my car was detailed, spotless, and washed when i picked it up. 11/10 would recommend!

I had a great experience here. After getting backed into by another car, my insurance sent me to them for repairs! They were incredibly friendly and personable, made the whole process really easy, and I felt confident leaving my car with them! They did a great job on the repairs and kept me updated along the way! I decided to go the nearest Auto Body shop to my house and at first felt like I was being helped. Three weeks later my car is still in the shop untouched. They couldnt even tell me an estimate on the damages. Without my consent they called my rental car company and backdated by car to the end of the day stating that because I called and asked what the process would be like if I wanted to take my car out that meant that I I took my car out. Which I didnt. This shows me poor customer service and poor communication with the rest of their buildings. DO NOT GO HERE. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES.

Minor interior power window door button panels replaced in passenger and driver side.Communication prior to service (parts ordering) was very weak and frustrating. Upon inquiring got passed around having to explain over. Front desk never returned emails and rude on the phone. Though work was quick and easy they still left grease stains on the driver side door. Very obvious with white interior. My vehicle isn’t the cleanest to begin with so probably thought i wouldn’t notice

Awesome! I had a insurance claim to deal with and they got my car back to pre loss conditions. I also had a couple of trim panels I had purchased a while back and had not installed and they did that for me free of charge! And then I also asked them to sort out my cooling system issue and they handled that also. There were some delays with shipping times of parts but they kept me in the loop the whole way thru, plus it didntcost me two arms and five legslike they quoted me at the dealership... 100% would recommend and return for other services!

This company is amazing. We needed major work and couldn’t afford our deductible after the accident. They held our car until we could pay it, and because of how much work they did, even offered us detailing in the future. Shoutout to Carissa especially for keeping us in the loop and making sure we knew they had our backs on getting this taken care of. I hope I never need body work again, but if I do, I’m taking it here.

They were very communicative throughout the process, worked seamlessly with the insurance company, and even in the middle of the ice storm, got the work done on time. They always detail the car at finish and offer a follow up freebie as well. And let me tell you, with my kids, thats probably worth the value of the entire shop fee. 🤣

Super professional and efficient. My car was hit by a GEICO driver and this was the recommended body shop. Had never used them before. Would highly recommend for every aspect of their service. It looks like they detailed my car inside and out as part of the body work job.

This place its horrible, they dont know how to communicate with us. They take forever, they keep telling us its ready and then changed their mind its not ready yet. They cant make up their mind. Im not gonna recommend this place. Its a waste of money.

My car was significantly damaged in a collision. McCollum’s worked directly with my insurance company. During the month long repair, they were in contact 3 times a week to update me on the progress. The offered me a loaner car when the rental coverage from my insurance company ran out. When the repair was complete, they cleaned the car inside and out! It came back beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

This was my 2nd time dealing with MCCollums because they were amazing the first time.I utilized the ez-estimate tool on the website to get an estimate of the cost, which came fairly quick (within a day). Molly, my adjuster was amazing as the price quote came quickly and we discussed why the quotes were priced the way they were. Then Scott was my main point of contact throughout the entire process. And Scott was amazing, punctual and professional. He kept me up to date with everything occurring to my car.Initially I was worried because I was getting a huge panel of my car painted and didn’t know if the paint match was going to match with the rest of the car as I am OCD with small things like that. Left swirl marks in clear coat the looks like scratches. Now we have to miss more time from work because of their mistake.....follow up. Ok they fixed the clear coat. Looks great. So maybe ill go 3 stars...the problem is when i first called them they said id have to bring the car in to be looked at that a picture wouldnt work. So upon bringing in the car we were asked if we were gonna leave it because it may be hours. No we didnt have time or could not leave the car. Then thanks to social media all of a sudden a picture worked. Bring it back ASAP. They fixed it in 20 min. Just disappointed they were making it an extreme hassle on my part until I posted. Thank you social media.
