Needed a gold crown for my Halloween costume and not only did the staff here help me choose great materials they made an awesome crown for me! (Skip the corporate Halloween stores next time, even if you dont think you can do it yourself these folks can help!) New to the area and Ive been here a few times to get arts and craft supplies for my daughter and not only do they have a great selection, the staff is super nice and creative and Ive learned a lot from them!

Best place to purchase supplies in the Greater Portland area. Staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly. You would be hard pressed to find this sort of helpful assistance and expertise anywhere else. Definitely a gem in our downtown :)

I am doing a drawing class for college this semester and I had a big list of supplies I needed to get. I have been struggling to find the things that I needed and when I walked into this store, I was instantly relieved because I could tell they would have everything I needed. The owner came up to me immediately and asked if I needed anything. They didn’t have the pastel set I needed at the time but he went out of his way to help me create that art set so I left with everything that I needed. He went out of his way to make sure I was all set and I am so grateful for all of the help. He was very knowledgeable and kind. I absolutely recommend this place and this is where I will go for ALL of my art supplies going forward! Thank you!!

Staff is very knowledgeable! Products are high quality artists level supplies. Prices are good for a store with this level of quality product. More than youd pay at Michaels but you get better quality and longevity.

Only place in Maine you can get Copic Marker refills without having to order online! They even fill them for you for only 3$. They only carry copic ciao markers, but they have multi liners. I didnt get a big chance to look around since I only poked in because I was desperate for some refills and didnt have enough change for meter, but I will be coming back soon for a better look!

Such a fun store to explore with a lot of supplies, including the charcoal drawing items I needed. Very friendly staff as well - I hope to return.

Their supplies are good quality and the store is geared toward practicing artists and art students so you wont find a lot of cheap, arts and crafts type materials, but if youre looking for professional quality supplies at good prices, I highly recommend this place.The employees are friendly, helpful and they take credit cards as well as cash.

The online store has the wrong ML listings for the Winsor Newton Cottman series - they are 5ML and 14ML NOT 8ML and 21ML - so does that mean that they are cheaper than the $3.38 as listed? Cheap Joes and others are selling them for 2.79
