Ive gotten some of my favorite things here. Even with a limited selection its really well done. I just wish they had more accessible store hours.

This place doesn’t allow dogs unless you could carry them but you won’t find that out until you’re already in the store and get rudely told that by lady that was working there. They should post this information on the front door to avoid situations like this.

Great home store with a range of goods. The furniture attracted our eye but we ended up buying a nice doormat. The owner was very helpful and offered to ship our item home after he learned we were traveling. The store had some unique lighting and mid century decor.

We had a fantastic experience with this store. Several years ago we purchased a mid-century modern couch from Asylum. Everything from selecting the fabric to having the couch delivered was an efficient and pleasant experience. A few weeks ago, I contacted the store to ask about the furniture maker of our couch because one of the legs had broken (probably while we were moving from Portland to PA). Sadly the furniture maker had gone out of business. However, a few days later Asylum reached out to me and had the leg replacement we needed. Not only that, but they shipped it here to me in Pennsylvania, free of charge. It is rare to receive such kind and considerate customer service, so I was surprised and delighted. Next time we are in Portland, well definitely be shopping here again.

Great store with great taste in furniture and kitsch

I bought a chair over two years ago from Asylum. I loved the chair but it had a minor issue with a leg on the front side. I wasnt expecting any reimbursement as it had been so long since I purchased the item. Over two years later I reached out over email to the shop. Anton delivered a new leg personally to my home and fixed the issue for free.These guys are amazing! Great furniture selection at the store, great prices for mid century modern pieces. Above all, great service.

They have a great selection of cool items for your home. Really liked the LED lights with retro looks.
