Just spent almost 500.00 just to get a very unprofessionalism from the store manager! I almost decided to take everything back inside and get the money back but I decided to just contact the corporate office about it. Manager needs better training to deal with any customers.

First time there went for my son. Very attentive service and not at all pushy. Highly recommend this shop for boots and/or clothing for the labor force.

Was there around 12:30 on Saturday. Women very unprofessional “rude”. It says on your door face mask required. Still a women came in and asked if she needed one. The women working there said no and That’s just the owner being unreasonable. We are right by a clinic. Im not going to enforce that rule. I picked out three different boots each one didn’t have in my size. Waste of time stopping there. Definitely won’t be back to deal with that woman again. I’ll make sure to tell my union brothers.

Stopped in around 7:45pm to look at shoes. Just one employee there (young lady). She asked if she could help me and I asked about their through goods and said they had very limited supply and didn’t know when they would get more. So I looked red wings. She seemed very bothered at the idea I was even there. Seems put out to get me boots and new very little about them. I then asked for another boots and noticed her looking at clock. I asked of the were closing soon and said without hesitation “we close at 8pm”. I asked to see another pair and got passive aggressive attitude about. I told don’t worry about we will be leaving. Won’t be doing business there

If you list hours on google and at your store, then you should abide by those hours. Im sick and tired of showing up to this place and its not open when they say theyre open

Staff was helpful and had answers to my questions. Had my size (13), and had a variety of work boots and clothing. I highly recommend

Awesome work gear and service small business need our help

I try to support my local businesses but I was in Poe and Sons today and there was two young women doing something with a stack of pants, just talking to each other about something. One of them acknowledged I was there and I grabbed a half dozen gloves and put them on the counter. After several minutes of waiting I left. I guess I will do my shopping at Blue Collar from now on.

Found everything I needed..polite staff

I couldnt do a return without the owner or special employee being there. Its 2020, any employee (working alone) should be authorized to make a return. I shouldnt have to come back at a specific time on a specific day when they are open the whole day, every weekday. The young girl was very helpful when I bought the boots but needing to make a return has been painful.

The owner opened early he saw me outside. Im from out of town and left my boots at home. I needed a pair to enter my customers business. I found a pair I liked and told him the size. They fit perfect.I like them more than the the boots I left at home.Even though Im from out of town I would buy from them again. Quite a selection of nice boots, work clothing and gear.

What a great place.I bought boots a few week ago.Went back today for welders caps and a new stick rule.Great prices and selection.

Worst business out there. Can’t do exchanges when the owner is not there, very inconvenient and if you special order boots, they don’t tell you that you can’t exchange your boots if there is an issue nor before you order them do they tell you to read the special order process..A little heads up about their policy would be nice....Highly recommend not doing business with this place..and the owner is an old A****LE.

Want to support local business, however sew in tags were wrong on jeans and showed the owner( that l had to time when he was in because the employees couldnt handle this issue)He said since brand sale tags were off there is nothing he can do now im stuck with work jeans that drive me nuts because their too short for the next year.I cant say that any other place would take them back.But my views are changed about supporting local businesses.Why should l when the results of a problem outcome would be the same.Ive been a customer for many years,that means nothing.So now l wont go out of my way to support local business.When something goes wrong thats when you find out who will stand behind their customers and who wont.

Was here last year with hubbys work. He needed a coat and I cant say enough of how great this place is. Folks were friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. Looks like we will be using them this year for some workboots and more work gear. Great place!

Excellent experience. The staff asked questions I would have never thought about to point me in the right direction. They also gave me sizing tips and told me how much shrinkage to expect from washing.The plan was to buy work boots here, then go to Walmart for budget friendly coveralls. I’m glad I stopped here first! After a quick price check, I walked out with great winter work boots, USA made Carhart coveralls and Jacket!Whenever I need new work gear, I’ll gladly be back.Great staff, great prices, great gear. Plus, it’s a local family owned shop. You cannot go wrong here.

Very good place for crhart clothing other work asscories

Ive spent 1000 + Dollars in this store, last month bought a pair of Carolina work boots for 160 dollars, 2 weeks later toe cap started to peel back, called left my number with the girl at the front never heard anything back. So now that im in town from work, the owner tells me theres nothing he can do. Ive spent good money there every month i was in town for work cloths, ill find somewhere else to buy my work appreal

Great store but the lady assisting customers there was very rude and abrupt, talking down to both myself and my boyfriend who was looking for a pair of work boots. Unfortunate, becasue thats partially the reason we did not buy from there.Other than that the store itself is great.

2/8/17Avoid this store at all costs1) I was kicked out of the store and banned for life because i returned a pair of boots that had a messed up steel toe in them, 10 min after i bought them. The owner himself led me out and after i had not argued with him he proceeded to cuss me out for returning a pair of boots.2) Apparently you cant return boots if you put them on once, even if they are still flawless and clean.3) Woman employee was rude4) NO UNION DISCOUNTNever go to this place, they are overpriced and dont care about the customer

I picked one star because In order to continue you have to hit a star, I bought my shoes their frequently and work clothes went today to find some work boots and as I was checking out boots testing out for flexability like I always dolady told me that what I was doing is damaging boot,I laughed and told her I been were boots for over 25 years if what Im doing damages boots than they must be cheap because I put them thru worse at work.she didnt like remark and said Ive been selling boots for the same time and I responded with,selling and wearing are two different things she did not like remark and told me to leave so if you want good service and quality boots I advise you to look elsewhere, so I go to spend my $400.00 elsewhere just because you tell people what manufacture says about boots does not make you an expert, ware boots for eight hours or more a day for a year than tell me how comfortable and sturdy they are,just because I dont work in sales doesnt mean I dont know what Im talking about and be careful they will not refund money if you ware them once So before you buy where them for more than 20 minutes in store or you will be stuck with boots you dont like. I dont write many reveiws but im so happy to find Poes!I have worn work boots all my adult life.I got tired of wearing under performing expensive boots. I have worn most of the name brands at one point or another. Not excitedly mind you.I spoke with the miss at the counter.I asked lots of questions, she gave helpful direct answers. I told her what I thought I wanted and were other boots failed.She gave me a couple choices based on my input.I bought a flat bottom wedge steal toe thorogood brand. Out of the box there most comfortable boots I ever put on. I even uncontrollabley Wowed I also bought the two part epoxy toe shield. And a nice pair of saftey glass.Im like everyone else. I dont like to come off of money.The quality name brand stock sells its self.Ask questions to make sure you get what you really want. Prices are surprisingly Good!There is a sense of pride from the owners. If there is a warranty issue. It will be dealt with,with urgency and above satisfactory results.Thank you,!Chris Plant
