While I may have my little sweet spots for ale, bourbon pickups, I do appreciate the Portage MegaBev coming through for me on random bourbon calls. Friendly staff, awesome communication regarding the hard to get varieties I look for.Notable, they found the Barrell Armida I had been searching for, phone call and hold, made the experience a lot of fun.Outstanding spirit store.

I absolutely love mega bev. I must admit that I prefer the one located on west main street in Kalamazoo over the Oakland store in Portage, as the west main store is much larger and has a bigger selection/ choices. I find the prices to be decent and they offer every kind of alcohol, be it wine, liquor or cordial, under one roof.

I love all the different things they offer. My best friend and I had a lot of fun sampling some of their seasonal offerings and the staff is always really nice.

The selection here is top notch and the prices for everything from beer to mixers are very low. Keep in mind that this is the smaller of the two Mega Bevs in the area so if youre looking for something very obscure, you might be better off calling ahead.

This place was advertised as the best place in Portage for imported beer. After walking around the store looking for my favorite german beer, I asked the lady behind the counter if they carried it, and she replied I dont know, it sounds like youre speaking another language. A place that advertises as being THE place to buy imported beer should be used to hearing names of beers that are in a different language, thats kind of the point of it being IMPORTED!

One of the biggest craft beer and spirits selection in the area. They offer a ten percent discount on build a six pack and case purchases. The prices are the best in the area.

Went into this store to purchase Redd’s Apple Ale, Corona Premier and Seagrams Ice Grape flavored wine coolers.Asked the clerk for help to locate the wine coolers but was informed the store the store didn’t carry the beverage.Returned several hours later with my wife who found the wine coolers I was told this store didn’t carry.Doesn’t anyone know what Mega-Bec carries?

My local stop for all things alcohol; its just around the corner for me. They keep a good supply of beer, wine, mead, liquor and other alcohol related items on hand. Highly recommended.
