I went to buy the FRESH tbone steaks they advertised for $4.99 a lb and the smell in the store was awful but the meat was worse. Most of the meat ( beef ) I saw was grey and discolored, and some had discounted prices!! NO THANK YOU, I wouldnt take it even if it was free and the chicken and pork didnt look good either. I understand this is a discounted store but seriously that meat should be a code violation.... I will NEVER shop here!!!

Long line at the check out only one register open. Person stocking close to the registers, I asked if someone could open another register, Adriana who claimed to be the Store Manager said you can go run the register yourself.She then opened the checkout I was then second in line I suggested to her that maybe it may have been better to say we don’t have anyone, give us a minute or anything other than her response. She said I would never say that.Not a very nice person and certainly not a proper manager. I left my purchase and the store. Called the store she answered said she is the manager and hung up the phone.

All the employees were very helpful & polite. Visiting from Boston where sometimes the help can be abrupt. Thank you.

I always save on the meats there. Just wish that they had a bigger selection of them.

This store has great prices. Produce is fresh but you will need to pick through as you should always do anywhere. Their own brands are less expensive and comparable to most major name brands. Once you get used to their own brands you will wonder why you were paying more elsewhere. Their help is generally very helpful and know the store well. Try it and judge for yourself.

Not a bad place to shop only thing they dont carry much sugar free food or low carb. The eggs are a good deal and if you catch it right meets can be a good buy... Bring bags they do sell them but if you own bags bring them

They need more cashiers and registers open at all times! Its insane to have to stand in line for 30 min ESPECIALLY when youre disable and your limit for standing is 10 min max! Other than that the store is always very clean, well stocked and their prices are incredible! Best meat prices and quality around!!!

Went in looking for a canopy. Didnt find it but the help was great they knew where to look and app how much. And if people dont like bringing bags they can pay more for their groceries and get a bag to throw away!

Not a bad place to shop except for you bring your own bags or purchase theirs. Cashier only. Bag yourself. Better than Walmart with no cashiers but tons of theft prevention to make you feel like a thief.

Its nice to see save a lot hiring new people, the young lady who rang me up politely introduced herself to me as Christina and informed me of the stores new sales.As she rang me up shes multitasking and telling me the sales on individual items I purchased she then informed me that I could type in the address on my receipt and do a Google review of the stores to ensure that my voice was heard on any of my opinions. Christina completed my order, read my total charged my card printed my receipt and then circles the store address, the over 500+ sales pitch on the receipt and her name. She informed me she was highlighting the major talking points we touched over. I stood in her line and watched her say and do the exact same thing with the exact same energy and motivation with 3 other customers.•Polite•Respectful•Helpful•Friendly•And PROFESSIONALWell done save a lot.

Always good service and clean. Hard to beat the value from anyone! Produce could be improved, possiblity with better equipment or practices, not sure, however overall its acceptable. Worth shopping there if you love a bargain! Also, I think the store brands here are better than average.. adding to even more savings!

Great discount grocery store. Excellent prices on most items especially meat and produce. There is a skeleton crew working there and they are definitely over worked, but they are always very nice. Its not Publix, but you can get some really good deals there and you can get in and out very quickly being that its a small store.

I enjoy doing my grocery shopping here. Some good deals and the store is clean. Sometimes have to wait in line for a while, because not enough cashiers. But the ones there, are very friendly.

I live their products like condiments, dressings, steak sauce, and vegatable prices. They are high food quality without the bad extra in all the foods now and taste great. Meat prices are good too but sometimes tough. My teeth are not as good as they used to be.

Great store! Family-owned and operated. Very friendly staff. Low prices on everything from produce to everyday necessities. Meat selection and prices cant be beat by any neighboring competitor. All fresh meat hand-cut in-store daily.

After Hurricane Irma strikes the area, the store was struggling to get back to normal operation. Still, employees remained cordial while trying to replace stock. Most everything was already back and advertised items were readily available. This was an operation where the employees were proud of their service to the public.

I have not been in Save-A-Lot for quite some time. I went this evening, and I saved myself a bundle of money. They had name brand items that I would buy at an other store there. Ill be back Save-A-Lot! :-)

I love that they are more convenient and lower priced than high end stores like Publix memorize what the store usually carries and Shop there for those items and dont have high expectations going in for Gourmet items. if you are easy to please and want to save a boatload of money in your bank account this is the place to go, just remember bring your own bags and youll save even more.

Store is always well stocked and super clean. Their meat is always super fresh and very inexpensive. Staff are always very helpful and polite.

I got what i need for a super good price

I gave 5 stars in the past and decided to add a review seeing how its changing so much. I used to be able to locate every item in this store, now its a struggle. They are also replacing alot of their cheaper brands with more expensive ones.

Store was clean but for some reason they charge you to use their carts. Didnt like that and the fact you have to buy each bag. Customer service was ok. I could just go to Walmart to be honest they have a much greater variety and the carts and bags are free.

Some weeks THEY do have GREAT SPECIALS. OTHER WEEKS HIGHER THAN ALDIS AND OTHER STORES.

Black haired (white lady) with grey roots working as cashier is a very unhappy, nasty person. I have seen her numerous times (weekend early mornings) and she is always a horror to deal with. Terrible people skills. She would not last 1 day in my organization. Ill b sure to get her name next time.

Need a sign at the door about the bag fee or furnish your own. Been to a few others and they have plastic bags furnished like any other store so this was a shocker when we got to the register.
