This place is pretty great. it had a decent selection, and staff is nice. Prices are usually the best in the area.ask them is they have UpEnd gin! if they dont, ask when they can get it back on the shelf!Delicious!

NASTI service, wine is not kept at the right temperature. You can get much better selection and prices at the Var max liquor pantry nearby.Will never go back!!!

A big box store with lots of inventory in all the price points. Its a busy store year round especially during major holidays. The selection is very vast and the prices are incredible. I would say its one of the best wine and spirits shop in all of Westchester. Check out is quick and staff is efficient and friendly.

I expected that being in New York the prices would be significantly higher than down south, but they were comparable.Even more surprising was the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. Exceptionally rude cashiers. Sadly, they dont wear name tags so I cannot identify the cashier who served me by her name, but shes a taller, overweight young woman. Disregarded my being next in line and called a person not even standing in line to serve him.

Look out for the yellow stickers!!! You can catch some pretty great sales on some pretty great wines!

Owner keeps all good/rare bourbon for himself. Literally told me he keeps it for his personal collection and there is no type of allocated bourbon he doesnt keep for himself. As far as I am concerned, liquor stores are supposed to sell liquor, not keep the good stuff for themselves. If you feel similarly, be forewarned and dont waste your time at this establishment. At least he was honest, but I am also honest!

Variety of spirits and wine can be found here, the prices are reasonable and the place is clean/professional. Parking is free, right in front of the store. They do not have any beers or a wide selection of ciders though.

No one, including the manager, asked if I needed assistance -- and I was in the same aisle for over 10 minutes. Another customer near me was asked if she needed assistance and the guy moved a ladder near me to show her a bottle. Once they walked away, he said excuse me so that he could wheel some cartons. Still did not ask if I neeed help. I used an app to help me make a purchase. If I didnt need it tonight for a gift tomorrow, I would not have made a purchase. I also heard other folks being asked in the other aisles. I wont be back.

BevMax in Port Chester does not care about customer service and did not make good on an inferior product it sold.I asked the manager for a refund for a bottle of “Agua de Piedra” Malbec wine we had opened. My wife and I could not consume it. It was insipid -- much different than the Malbecs we have purchased form this vintner, many times in the past in this store.What a disappointment!! – Maybe it had spoiled in some way.Most reliable wine merchants would have provided a refund or at minimum replaced the bottle with another choice they could stand by. That’s just part of the etiquette of the wine retailing business. This store manager would not.The manager tasted the wine and said it was good. Definitely not true. How do I know? I was President of a major Imported Wine company and have also had represented many imported wine clients when I operated a promotional marketing agency.The manager said he would not give a credit for a wine “I did not like.” He would only give one for a wine that was spoiled. That policy is a poor excuse for selling an inferior product and then refusing to provide a refund. This wine was not acceptable by any standard, spoiled or not.Beware when you shop for wine at BevMax in Port Chester.

Full line liquor store that also has a moderate section of organic wines, some bring biodynamic. Prices are fair for the area. Probably the best place to go if you are looking for something particular but call ahead to make sure. It is in the same shopping plaza as Whole Foods, Kohls and Staples.

And thats because I have to give a star to post this. The lines were so disorganized that while I was in line at a register the man by the cashiers asked me to step back; meanwhile another customer was asked to go back onto the line by another cashier. The other customer lined up behind me and they insisted that he was next! Roll back that camera guys- because I was waiting there before he was, but thats besides the point- they kept insisting he was next and continued to check him out before me. So, I left my cart there and told them I wont be purchasing those bottles of wine. Thats when they showed their true customer service colors- the man by the cashiers said Your loss. If he is the manager and one day reads this- you have very poor customer service skills. Additionally, he made an assumption that my incomplete transaction would be a loss to me, when in fact I took my business elsewhere and got a better deal. Poor managers make poor decisions and that statement informed me that you only thought about yourself instead of the customer.
