Nice store, brightly lit, workers more or less good, they’re efficient, not brimming with welcomeness. Nonetheless, the experience was satisfactory. They are well stocked. They have convenient dual exits/entrances.What I absolutely loved the most was their selection of newspapers- awesome!

This stop and shop does not have good baked whole chickens. Not seasoned well and very dry. Other stores are good dont know whats up with this Portchestor store.

The store is very clean. You can get all of the groceries you need. Theres a Deli and a large produce section too. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I like this stop and shop, self check out is a bonus. The renovation is very nice.

Its a typical Stop & Shop supermarket. Pharmacy and Bank inside too! It appears to be very clean. Whats especially nice is that its on the ground floor but mostly a covered lot, so if it rains you wont get so wet coming out the exit to make your way to your vehicle. The cashiers are fast and friendly, and there is self check out if you prefer.

Love shopping here, no long lines and enjoy it as much as I enjoy yoga ! In and out . Free parking and it’s empty . Good special and friendly cashiers ! Empty isles .

I love the self check out. It saves me time & I get to bag my items & when I get home now which bags gave my frozen to items in them in my dry goods & items for the fridge.

Cashiers are not the nicest with the exception of Princess i believe her name is and the girls at the Customer service counter are very nice and professiinal

The store was a little disorganized, but I believe they may be reorganizing the store...its frustrating when you are making a quick stop for a few items and they are not where they normally are located. Hopefully the new locations of the items will make more sense.

This is my first shopping adventure here I think I will go back its large very clean and friendly staff. Great prices too a lot of sales.

Just left after checking out on senior citizen line, cashier didn’t have his nose covered! When I brought this to someone’s attention I got attitude eye rolls and flapping arms!! If your going to have a line for seniors it should be safe! This is not the first time I’ve seen this careless attitude in that store!!!!

It was Saturday afternoon and it was busy. I did go to the Grab and Go counter to see if they had chicken tenders or mozzarella sticks and there were none. I guess it was lunch time so they were all gone. 😯😯 I did get the spicy wings instead and they were yummy. The Grab and Gos at Stop & Shop have tasty inexpensive treats like: wings, mozzarella sticks, potato wedges, I have even seen beef patties and onion rings. The snacks make a quick lunch convenient. Stop by and try the warm snacks so yummy!

Never have everything I go in there for. Always discontinuing products. Meat dept. and horrible! Green meat in case and overripe or dead greens and friut.Cases are filthy in produce. Not what it used to be.

This is my favorite stop n shop out of the 3 that are near my home. The aisles are nice and wide, the prices are good, and it has the best selection of foreign foods. As a bonus, the Deli is gigantic, so if you need cold cuts, the line moves fast. Definitely the best grocery store around.

Very large store that has everything you could want. Convenient location downtown with mostly adequate parking and close to several other stores for a complete shopping experience. Has that floor robot I do not like.

Terrible experience dont go to the food court to buy a simple salad the lady who is in charge of that area is going to get mad if you ask for a simple fork they get mad if you ask them for dressing for the salad if they dont want customers to ask for those things why they just dont leave it there this way customers can pick the forks up and dressing

So expensive . Cashier didnt know what she was doing and was very rude. It was late at night and you could barely get through the aisles,the stock team blocked off a lot of the store.

This is my go to store for most of my consumables. Their meats are pretty good, the selection is broad, the prices are very reasonable and I like the layout of the store. I can easily find things, zip in, zip out.

There was an extensive selection of gluten free and organic products.

I go to this shop for my grocery shopping every week. The shop is ok except today, i.e. April 28, 2020.I bought a pack of chicken thighs in full price this morning and found out the meat was not fresh even it will expire on April 29. I then took the meat back for refunds and they told me all food are final due to this critical time. It was not fair. Can a shop use this critical time as an excuse to continue selling bad meats to customers ? The policy for no return should base on the fact that the food are fresh. I complained to the Store Manager, Jaime and he has no help at all.I would not go to this shop any more.

Went last night after work. The check out area was disgustingly dirty, especially the keypad. There should be constant clean of this area. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Worth the visit if youre going big box. They have a huge store with all of the top brands. The isles are wide and the rest of the place is clean and tidy.

Good selection of merchandise. Nice, clean store with most items in stock. Like the self checkout at Stop & Shop stores. Good sale item prices but Shoprite appears to a bit lower.

Mostly clean very busy market with free parking. The parking lot is very busy, dont bother going on Sunday after noon when even with every register open there is a line at every check out. The yogurt section cant be filled quick enough on Sunday after noon. The organic section is small but there is a good two aisles of natural foods and products. Prices are very competitive for the area.

Good for fresh produce, some International specialities, basic flour, sugar type items; Have not bought meat, seafood here in a long while (except for name brand ham shank and some carefully chosen frozen shrimp! Costco, less then a few minutes away, has fresher meats. I mingle between Costco, Stop and Shop and one secret chain in Stamford, CT that can sometimes create an almost perfect shopping experience!

Its a super Stop & Shop so its just Stop & Shop but bigger. Bathrooms were pretty disgusting as was the area you recycle cans and bottles. Most of the recycling machines didnt work. Pretty decent selection of beers & ciders. Self checkout and cashiers.

After having a couple of rough experiences here subsequent trips have been much better.The staff here are very friendly and extremely helpful. Ive gotten some really great produce here too(blueberries and strawberries in particular).Cheapest per-liter price on lemon-lime Seltzer I can find.The customers have a habit of abandoning items and taking the self checkouts out of service, but besides a good beating I dont think this can be fixed.

Store is very spacious, well laid out and very clean. Excellent selections in all departments. Free covered parking (part of a large garage).

The four stars I give this place are relative to other Stop & Shops in the area. Its still not an amazing grocery store, but its definitely much better than the other S&Ss nearby. The parking garage makes it more pleasant in the winter and summer months, giving you a little respite from the unfavorable weather.

I rarely shop here because it typically costs about 30% more than the place next door. I gave them an extra star just because its always quiet when I do have to shop here.

I always found what I need and helpful personal when i in need of aid.

Lots of items on the shelf that are close to expiring or expired. My daughter picked up a block of cheese and had I not looked at the date, we would have purchased expired cheese. Exp on October 12. Produce was a little expensive. Girl in customer service did not know how to refund properly. She refunded 7 cans of milk in which I had purchase 8. She then tried to tell me Carnation fat free milk is not covered by Wic. She scanned the milk and my Wic went right through. When sign on shelf and customer tells you that it’s Wic, don’t ask more questions. I won’t be going back here. It took her 20 minutes for her to get it together.

Stop&Shop is suppose to be a quick and easy place to shop but I never have that experience at this location. Unfortunately, its the closest one to me and Costco isnt always an option when only few items are needed.With that said. This S&S never has anything stocked, which I used to think was just me coming on the wrong time and day. No. It happens no matter the day of the week I show up.The meat department never has anything that is advertised in the flyer. And the guys working there seem to not give af about anyones questions. Often they look annoyed or respond rudely. (Probably spit in it also.)Also if you ever need a cart; either there wont be any inside, or the cart attendant has smashed them so close together you cant pry them apart.Only thing keeping the place afloat is a few knowledgeable staff that seem to feel my pain and understand the s h i t show that is this S&S.Overall, F this stop & shop. Better off going to Costco, wholefoods, or anything else. (Spend the extra money and avoid all the BS)

Its a big store, so be prepared to shop for a lot of different foods, from organics to meats to treats. Youll find it all here! Parking can be hard to find, especially on the weekends... BUT AT LEAST its a dedicated, covered parking garage lot .

The community here isnt great, workers always seem angry and annoyed.

I dont have an issue with the store itself, but the security of their car park is a disaster. On the only couple of different occasions that Ive gone here, several months apart, people were mugged / attempted being mugged in their parking lot. They SERIOUSLY need to have adequate car park camera surveillance and security walking and/or driving around their car park.

This is a great Supermarket. Its clean & has a great selection of almost everything you could want. The prices are better than any other market around.

This stop and shop use to make me cringe everytime i had to enter. I still do a little. I wish they kept things a little cleaner, especially their entrance. Employees are helpful, their produce sections have gotten way better. I wish they put more people on the register and not only when its a busy holiday.

Deli department needs better training. You have to physically stand there, don’t order on the kiosk, because no matter how many times you order your ham thin, it ends up looking like the Canadian Bacon at the Coach Diner.

I couldnt fine what I needed

The store closes at midnight, I went there 11:00PM. It was almost empty and very quiet but some departments like pharmacy and butchering was closed.

I live in Port Chester and i always come here. I do almost all my shopping here great place and the people who work here and really nice. The worst part about going here is the parking but besides that it great.

The staff is awesome but there is not a wide variety of snacks here especially the cupcakes.They are always out of something.

I dont care for this store. I only go if I need a few things. Locals use the parking lot for other shopping so the lot is useless. The store is too small and when its crowded, which it usually is, you just get stuck in every aisle. New Rochelle much better.

As with most big grocery stores its the attention to detail that this one lacks. Very busy on the weekends around noon and be lucky if someone could find anything or point you in the right direction. Produce stockers are usually on Bluetooth headset and pretend to ignore you as they talk to their friends on the phone.
