My go to for general art supplies, only other stores I travel further to is for something highly specialized like Jembros.Its perfect for the arts and crafts type person or teacher. Lotta fun stuff, seasonally fulfilling in holiday decor. Good place if you want something framed without shelling out an arm and a leg.The staff are always great. Helpful and more polite than they are paid to be. Last thing I bought was a pack if Chameleon markers. Still yet to open, but I digress: 5/5 star certainly sort of store.It used to have to compete with AI Friedman which sadly closed out. I was sad because they had everything. Yet Michaels has nearly all they had to offer, Michaels has the better service for sure.Locally, nothing competes. Art school supplies for students to hobbyists to professional artists: all to whom the store is beyond useful.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you out with any questions you have for your project. Took the time to explain different framing options and what was the best way to mount a canvas painting my daughter made. Even told us one service was not available in store and should be done by a 3rd party instead of trying to sell us something we didnt need. Definitely will go back here for any of our future arts and crafts needs.

Although some of the isles in the store were quit empty such as planner, stickers and stationary. And I was not able to find the meltables in the colors I needed (or many different colors at all). I was able to find a few things I usually dont find. The customer service & cashiers were helpful and nice. The rest of the store was clean and had a nice selection of decor on the shelves

My favorite Michaels! I come to Port Chester from Stamford. It’s quiet and has ample parking! My dog enjoys coming for the ride too.

Its Michaels.... Its exactly what youd expect it to be. Its clean, folks there are friendly and helpful. Ive done framing at this location a couple times now. All solid this far.

Great shopping experience. I havent left the house in months, but I finally ventured out for craft supplies! The store is well-stocked; social distancing markers are everywhere; there are screens at the registers; and more importantly, (jk) there are CRAFT SUPPLIES!!! The coupons found online are an added bonus 😃

Good customer service at the frames desk, but man, the prices are high for this service. Store was well stocked, mask and social distancing rules were enforced, and the cashier was friendly. Good experience overall and Ill happily return to this store when I need art supplies.

Lots of arts and crafts stuff at very reasonable prices

I have been trying with difficulty to get Lion Brand Heartland Yarn for a project I am working on. A friend suggested Michaels in Port Chester. My first time there and I have no regrets. A clean store with items neatly placed. The young lady at the check out desk was very polite, patient and helpful. I certainly will return when I need more items. Thank you

It’s a medium size store, very clean and tidy. Sometimes they are short staffed but it’s well stocked so it’s worth the short wait.

The cashiers and customer service people are nice and helpful. One cashier even offered to make and made cupcakes for a benefit I told her about. There are a lot of art supplies and holiday decorations. The supplies range from spray paint to yarn to sharpies, which can be tested. There are tips all over on how to perform art tasks, and samples of what the finished product looks like. They also have many wood supplies and decoratory items. Many sections also have themed magazines to go with them. Overall, a great place!

Absolutely horrible and rude staff.Manager cussed at me while I respectfully attempted to explain that I had an exemption from the mask mandate for health reasons.

One of the few places left for quality custom framing. Just had my Dental diplomas and licenses beautifully framed there as part of my dental office total renovation. Very helpful staff at the back of this well stocked crafts store.

Its good if you know what you want great for artists but a lot of what they advertise is not in stock they seem to be short staffed but otherwise its a good place to go for certain things

This store is a great size but there are times when you you have to search for 10 minutes to find an employee to help locate items. Also the lines to check out can be ridiculous, only 1 register open. The employees themselves are very nice

Michaels is a very nice craft store for the occasional crafter or teacher who needs supplies for projects. Not the best for specialty items. Lines are always long with very snow moving cashiers. Since in Port Chester it is the only game in town you have no choice but to go there. Plenty of parking.

Beautiful, bright, clean store with ample (free!) parking. The staff are friendly, helpful, and patient. My 4 year old daughter really enjoyed the Saturday morning craft that they have for kids (only $2)

Lots of great art supplies. Do be aware though that this store is on the second floor of this shopping complex in the very back of the parking lot from the ramp. A bit hard to find if you dont know that. Worth the look though!

Amazing customer service, Eve is amazing!!!!!She was so kind and patient and honestly made my day. You guys HAVE to keep her around, I have been to several Michaels locations and the employees are usually so cold and uncaring but Eve isnt. Great selection and now is my favorite Micheals location.

Went in for some balloons . Luckily, pretty easy to find on my own, there was no staff in sight.

Ordered frames online they came broken was not told until I arrived at the store. Instead of taking the frames and sending them back to the warehouse they put them on the floor so that another customer would possibly buy them
