I LOVE my Penneys!! The QUALITY of their mercahndise is well worth the slightly higher prices you pay, versus another store, that will remain nameless. But they always have a great deal going on, so prices are usually within range of my budget!! Plus, they have a GREAT salon!!!

Not sure how to put it other than a company that is on its way down should try harder than anyone. But a line with 15 people and one cashier is not gonna do it. Just a self fulfilling end.Seen it with KMart and Sears they just give up.So J.C. Penny while theres time. Turn the tide. And outshine all the others.

Found one item in my size suitable for vacation

Friendly atmosphere with great selection.

Price on clothing rack was 8.99 that was not what I was charged. What was gonna be about 30.00 costed me 50.00. Excuse was they wasnt suppose to be on that rack for that price but there were several other item same as I bought on there.

Been shopping at JcPenney for a while and Ive always went to the store and still have some nostalgia for the store as well. I enjoy looking there from time to time usually their prices are well enough (though Id still shop the clearance cause thats just me).

The staff here are great. They are here to help if you need it. The store layout is good, easy to find the section you are looking for and if you cant find what your looking for the staff are there to help. The only downfall are the prices. A bit high for me. But the selection is great.

Good place to buy jewelry and clothes

My wife and I have shipped for over 50 years at our local Poplar Bluff, NO store and have always been satisfied with both the quality of their products and the knowledge and courteous attention of JC Penneys sales staff. Selection of name brand clothing other items. No matter what other big box stores come in or close up i will always trust and rely on Penneys.Jerry & Cleta Kearbey.

Not a bad selection on young boys clothes. They also had a pretty decent sale going on where we got a whole other outfit for 5 cents. No complaints.

Went here looking for a pair of sneakers. Grabbed a pair that were $44 to try on but couldnt walk in them as they had them tightly locked together with an anti theft device. I looked around and only staff I saw was the cashier who was busy. I gave up and left. Found the same price range and better variety at Shoe Depot where you can actually walk and test out how the shoes feel.

The cashier had an attitude because I told her I had 2 10.00 rewards that I had to use on my phone and she tried to tell me that I didnt.

Very clean store, ample parking space, good selection. When it comes to shoes, I wear a size 13 in mens. So it can be difficult to find shoes in my size. But when I recently visited JCPenney in Poplar Bluff, I was pleased to find that there was a very good selection of mens shoes, as well as several sizes in each model. The other departments are well stocked, and very neatly kept. The only con, is that the staff were either not having a good day, or they were just naturally not very kind. Overall, still one of the best JCPenney stores Ive been in. Would recommend the Poplar Bluff location to anyone.

Loved it! Evie (associate 0585) was great! She stopped at literally nothing to dig up my 7 month old reciept in their system so that I could get my money back on $150 worth of jeans. It was so refeshing to run into a customer service representative ready to take on a challenge and provide excellent quality customer care!

Found everything I wanted. Everyone that works there was very curtious and helpful. I will shop there again for my clothing, shoes, jewellery fashions.

We spent almost $400 on school clothes, got home and checked online to order a pair of shoes that were out of stock... bought the same exact jeans I had just paid $44 for on sale for $9.99 online. Was not pleased. No one even mentioned the online sales while in the store. Returned the entire order to the store...rebought it all online for under $140!!! Check online first people!!

My favorite place to shop for clothes.. Especially for my children. Rewards program sends me texts when they have a sale going on and coupons!

Poor variety of clothing. Purchased a hoodie on impulse for 50 dollars and when I got home the die tag was still on it, Unfortunately I was on vacation and will have to find a store In My hometown to remove it. Cashiers need to focus more on sales and service and less on chit chat and their personal business.

Came to buy a belt. On the store hours they open at 9 do not expect to walk in the door show up 15 the 20 minutes later if you want to get into the store. Do not advertise you open at 9 if you dont.

Was there for Sephora a bit hard to navagate but I found what I was looking for. The Sephora girls were a BIG help to me.

The one poplar bluff Missouri is way too small and has absolutely nothing in it.

Big corporate retail floundering to stay in top like K-Mart. Pennys has always been a little more classier than Wallyworld tho. Im at their Early Black Friday Sale atm, and they ARE forming a heck of line. Good coupon deals are the topic of this day amongst the early shoppers.
