I would rate it 0 stars. Only come here if you want to be ripped off or buy an old stinky fur coat or broken tv. There is less items then a garage sale an the staff will try a gut you if your trying to sell. The guy either didnt know that a 4th hand on a swiss watch makes it completely different than a 3 hand non gmt. An said these other watches arent swiss so there not as valuable one is a swiss made hamilton with swiss made on the dial an an orient star which isnt swiss but its a nice watch. Offered me like 40 or 50 bucks for either. So instead of supporting a local business ill sell online. But unless u want some junk Invicta or over retail for what they have. Smh

I brought in a natural, untreated 6.5 ct black diamond wedding set and was offered $200.00. Everyone there was very polite and helped with whatever we were interested in looking at with a smile. I didnt take the money and wasnt offended. Its just business. They had very nice deals on the items in their store and didnt even get upset when we came in while they were about to close!

Really great service, i had a computer that wasnt working that good cause of a virus and took it to them and jason took a look at it and took the virus up and completely cleared its so that it was fresh for me and didnt charge me much at all. I appreciate them helping and caring.

I had gone to American Jewelry in Pontiac in the past and had a negative experience. A very rude and unpleasant woman ruined my experience and rushed me. I took my business to another location in the Detroit area, one of their major competitors. However, I was in the area and decided to stop in. That is when I met LynnMarie and she changed my opinion of American Jewelry and Loan and has insured my loyalty to their location. While the person whom I had a bad experience is still an employee there, I simply wait for LynnMarie to wait on me. Im not a Pawn customer; however, I have referred others who needed that service and they cant speak highly enough of her. Great job to the owner of American Jewelry and Loan of Pontiac, Les Gold, on hiring the cream of the crop. Thank you LynnMarie for going above and beyond and gaining a customer for life!

Our church, which is 1 block from this store purchased a computer to use in our worship service about two weeks ago. I am the Senior Pastor. After immediatly dropping the computer off at our church, I then went to Chicago for my daughters start of College and meetings with my Senior Pastor who is in a suburb of Chicago. I came home and set up the computer for the Sunday worship service. When it booted it appeared to have a broken screen and was all full of lines. The very next day I went back to the shop to show them that there was a problem. They immediatly inferred that I must have dropped it or it slid around in the car and I must have broken it in the 1 block trip to our church. Being a Pastor, I assured her that none of her accusations were true and that no one else had come in contact with the computer. They said they would fix it if I paid for the repair. I reminded her that it was supposed to be a working computer when our church purchased it. They refused to return our money or fix it. I then stood in the parking lot and informed incoming patrons of their bad business practices and the manager came out and threatened to call the police on me. The money to purchase this computer was donated by hard working people so that we could add to our worship experience and this business ROBBED them.
