Pure Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Must know some Spanish, the locals are friendly. The prices are awesome and the food is delicious ❤️‼️💯

The food is fantastic, I got the turkey and every bite was delicious! As a preface I hate sweet potatoes, what I ate has caused me to put a qualification on that statement, it now reads: I hate sweet potatoes, except for the sweet potatoes from Sabor y Rumba.

Food was good, no doubt. On the pricey side for the portions. Came here on a Monday afternoon, half of the dishes that we ordered were not available. After I placed my order I was told that they ran out of chicken breast, so I switched my order for flank steak but was given chicken tips instead. They try to correct my order but by the time I got my dish my family was already done with their meal. Bottom line, it is a good place to eat if you are in Ponce and there are very few places around, food is good but apparently Mondays are not the best day to dine here.

Man the flavor and taste of the dishes are amazing. I enjoyed every single bite of it. It has a nice variety of puertorican foods, and some mouth watering frappes. The melon frappe is one of my favorites. Definitely recommend to go there! Totally gonna come back.

3.5. Outdoor partially covered patio seating with tasty if slightly burned food and slow service. We had to ask 3xs for the rest of our meal and a few times for plastic utensils. We had the beef empanadas, mofongo with skirt steak and calamari with soft drinks @$32/2 ppl.

The best bi-fongo (green and ripe mashed plantains) filled with their creole sauced chicken, I have ever tasted in this life. Sorry, it was so delicious I forgot to take a picture first! But here are their incredible mariquitas, which were amazing.

If I could give zero stars I would. I repeatedly asked the cashier if the rice and beans had any meat, and she said no. Food was ready in less than 5 minutes, and there was meat mixed in my rice. My gf ordered shrimp and mofongo and she said the shrimp was salty and she ended up getting sick. I couldn’t eat anything being that it is NOT VEGETARIAN friendly. I had gotten a margarita which she left on the counter for me to grab (hello people come and spike my drink).. we ended up throwing the food away as it was no good. The waiter or cashier payed no mind to it. I was so disappointed given the previous reviews.

Amazing service! A true gem to visit. The food is autentic puerto rican food. Its kid friendly. We had chicharrones de pollo, tostones, arroz y habichuelas and a vanilla flan.

The ceviche was awesome! Clearly a tourist spot but nice setting (patio in the middle of a building) and good food.

Good local music and friendly service. This where one of the few places open till late to get something to eat around here and it was a good option. They fix up something for a vegetarian in the group and the “Hamburguesa campestre” (I think that was the name) I ate was delicious. Good bear and drink selection and the ambient made it a perfect place.

Good street food. Would have liked more beans in the rice but pretty tasty. Chicken Cordon Bleu seems odd to me but see it on menus here. My son really enjoyed it. Croquettes were decent as were other items we had. Wish evening items were available for lunch.

Take out window in a building courtyard with a parking garage. Fantastic food and some seating in the courtyard. But this isnt a waiter service location. Staff was very friendly and the food came out super quick. If youre parking in the garage its located in it seems like the perfect spot to grab something small before you go somewhere else in the Ponce area.

OMG this is my new favorite place in Ponce!!! The food is prepared fresh and so delicious! Best part, the prices are SUPER affordable. You won’t leave here unhappy!

As we were walking up my middle child few and cut his elbow, hes historical with a small cut on his elbow. At the same time, one of the employees was taking on the trash and saw the aftermath. Once we walked in he almost immediately met us with a first aid kit and did everything he could to help my little dude. After that, I couldnt tell you anything about the the food or drinks because they could do no wrong. Excellent service, will visit again

This location is a small shop similar to a food truck. The food was decent and the place was cozy. Got the chicken with the spaghetti salad and they were good.

The day I went was not crowded, it was fairly slow afternoon but the food took a long time to be served. When they finally served the fish I ordered it was extremely salty. I had to return it and have something else (chicken) and they did not adjusted the price of the meal or offer any apology. Also, they would bring the food to other customers and I had to go and get the food from the counter. Also, they gave me plastic utensils, very hard to manage with fried chicken.

Food was great very fresh. I had the pollo frito which was the best i ever tasted. My family enjoyed there food as well. The server was friendly.

Good for a quick stop. Pork ribs were tender and well seasoned. Sweet plantain mash was fantastic.

Vacationed from NYC, stayed in the Hilton in Ponce. Went here for lunch on a Monday. Food was delicious, I had the fried chicken and my boyfriend had the fish side with tostones. So good and fresh, highly recommended

I just ate and had a blast... Im Puerto Rican that lives in San Juan and was passing the day around here. I was looking for some good Puerto Rican food and this was the exactly place I was looking for. Everything was super delicious.... I will come here everytime I come to Ponce. Prices are affordable. Roxanna the waitress was very sweet and helpful.

The food here is really very special. Some organic items are available, the salads are unusually good, the steak is excellent, and a dish called timbalero is amazing...

We were looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience and Sabor y Rumba was exactly that. The food was excellent, the courtyard felt like we were in Spain and the drinks were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Visiting Puerta Rico with family, stopped here for dinner.. Gotta say, so so at most. May not return. 3 out of 5 dishes were salty to the point folks couldnt finish their meals. Company was awesome, food, 3 stars top. Drinks however, were good...
