Fantastic. Love this place. The salespeople are musicians or instrument makers so all know their stuff. The guy who helped me is also a violinist and violin instructor and he was super helpful and patient. They’re happy to meet to get things tested out. Prices are also much better than other places but the quality is equivalent.

They gave us a private room where we can test out bows and had one of the employees play for us to help us make an educated decision. Wonderful experience! Definitely dont regret driving here. I’m a beginner violinist and purchased a Fiddlershop violin several months ago as my first violin. Went there with no expectations and was blown away by the genuine service, personal attention, knowledgeable and friendly staff and large selection of beautiful instruments for all levels.After a couple of hours of trying out many different instruments with the help of Michael, Pierre and everyone else (sorry I forgot some names!), I finally settled on one that I wanted but realized I was unable to buy on the spot. I detected no frustration or unpleasant feelings from anyone. They were genuinely happy that I found an instrument that I wanted and did not push me at all to buy or commit. I plan on buying it very soon and I am very thrilled to give them my business. Will be back!

I drove for an hour to get there but it was well worth it. Thought I needed a new bow but they were so honest to tell me I really didnt. I did buy several other things then got to experience playing a couple of electric violins, something I had wanted to do for a long time. Being a beginner with fairly horrific abilities, I give 6 stars to everyones patience and understanding while I played joyful noises.through the amp. Now, I have something on my birthday wish list and one more reason to make the drive back to Fiddlershop, hopefully soon.

Hello my experience in the store was great, they have good material violas, violins, and many accessories. But the most important thing was the customer service, I have to give it 5 stars because there are no more stars. ! Fiddlerman is a helpful person, attentive, and very nice person willing to help you with whatever you need. I recommend fiddlershop one hundred percent either online or in person...lol

I dont usually leave reviews, but Fiddlershop was so amazing that I am delighted to actually leave a review and give them 5 stars. I had already tried 15 violins across the metro Atlanta area over the course of a few months. After hearing several people mention Fiddlershop, I am so glad I made the trip down to South Florida to try violins there. From the moment I walked in the door, they were helpful, kind, never pushy, and even let me test all of the violins without knowing which one was which (my request). When the one I fell in love with was well under my budget and less expensive than some of those I had asked to try, not once did anyone try to upsell me. They were genuinely glad that I found the perfect instrument for me. They helped with my shoulder rest and setup and even gave me a cup of coffee and a snack for starting my 8 hour drive back home. Excellent products & Excellent customer service!

I researched a lot of websites and settled on Fiddlershop. The violin i received looked nice but the E string peg became loose within 1 week. I wrote to them but they just sent me some paste to put on it. I thought they would send me a replacement because it was just 1 week since purchase. Quite unhappy that the instrument because it became unusable within a week of buying. I would not recommend this place. Both product and service are bad. :(

Purchased a Ming Jiang Zhu 905 and a Fiddlerman Soloist set. Very happy with the communication, and the professionalism. The Fiddlerman Soloist came perfectly, and well packaged. Unfortunately, the MJZ has a little chip off. But It doesnt affect the sound or the playing. I would have give a 4.5 star review if I can, since that chip off doesnt not warrant a star off. Overall, very happy with Fiddlershop,

I wish I could give them 100 stars!!! I purchased a 1/8 violin from them, and it was a good violin, at a great price. It was a trade-in, so not their brand, but still an excellent violin. My 5 year old son, at the time, dropped it on the wood floor, and smashed the top. I contacted them, and they repaired the violin, for free! I paid to ship it there, but they paid to ship it home. After that experience I knew they would have my business. Fast forward a couple of years, my sons ready for his 1/2 violin. (A fried gave us their 1/4 violin). I got the Fiddlerman Apprentice Violin Outfit. It sounds great, and is beautiful. His violin teacher was very impressed, she now recommends them to her other students. I am currently anxiously awaiting his 3/4 violin we purchased yesterday.

Excellent monitoring and after sell service, even if I was in another country!

School was ready to begin the next day and my son asked if I had rented a violin yet because he was in the school orchestra again. Well, like always I started my researching (crash course style, night before) trying to find a music shop to rent the violin for the school year. After several websites I came across the Fiddlershop.com site and was totally impressed. I visited their shop the next day and Pierre himself greeted me at the door and welcomed me in. The staff were all cheerful, professional and very personable. Long story short, (because I can go on and on about this place) Pierre got me the violin I wanted, he played it for me to make sure it was tuned correctly, and I left with the biggest smile on my face (felt like I finished watching a concert). Fiddlershop will always be my go to place for anything violin. Great job to Pierre, Michael and all the staff.

I had the pleasure of visiting their showroom (which within its self was very impressive). This is a family own and operated business located in Pompano Beach Florida. The reason for my visit was that I had several concerns 1. To buy a better violin and 2. To see if my violin could be upgraded. The representative was pleasant, honest, patience and knowledgeable. Suggestions were made in a way I felt comfortable. The violin which was undated was done within a few days and the sound is amazing! Excellent, patient, and professional, are just a few words that come to mind.There was a secluded comfortable space to play and talk about the instrument as well as try different makes and models.After I decided on my purchase the staff bought me to the back to teach me all of the different aspects of caring for and maintaining my new cello. I couldn’t decide which violin I wanted from the videos. So, I took a road trip to their new shop, what an awesome experience!!! Clare had 5 beautiful violins ready for me to try. Pierre played each one for me. (Worth the trip just meeting him and hearing him play!!!I would have been happy to spend the rest of my life with any of them...🎻)I was allowed private time to play them and narrowed down to 2. I needed octave viola strings from a specific brand. These are such a niche product that very few online stores offer these. Fiddlershop being the only one to offer them without needing a credit card I chose them for the order (all the way from the Netherlands!). Had a great experience! We were very pleased with the customer service and the facility.

I have not played since 1977 when I was told I was not good enough for college. I had a stroke seven years ago. I was really sick and could not sleep and stumbled across Twosetvolin on Youtube. The boys recommended this business for folks looking to get back into music. I figured what the heck, why not. I could NOT be more enthused about a small AMERICAN company that cares about all clients...even those of us on the low end of the spending scale. Every need including the color of my case was met. FedEx is responsible for all the problemsI had after sale. Who the hell puts a fragile box on a hot asphalt driveway instead of a covered front porch? When I opened the box everything was well packed. The plastic protection was puffed. That should have been my first....maybe not. I was too excited and opened the plastic. The e string popped it was so hot. My husband was surprised I knew that was happening as I moved my head out of the way just in time. You never forget getting slapped in the face with an e string. I was able to find a local replacement. It took a full ten days for the poor critter to acclimate. They sent me a replacement e and some peg dope and the string mute which did not make the first trip. They also sent links to videos to help me once the violin said okay, I will live here. Loyal client from here on out!!!!!

I did a lot of research before finding this place. I found a violin quality ranking site and this name came up on it so I looked it up and was impressed with the sites violin reviews. I found a great priced violin and for the wood quality (ebony fingerboard, pegs, and fittings which makes the best violins), string quality (DAddario Prelude) and case (solid design with storage and temp guage) it was a steal. It took them a few days to put it together and ship it, about a week, also impressive since it was 2 weeks before Christmas. It arrived in perfect shape, already tuned and everything about it was immaculate. In case someone wants a great violin I got the OB1 outfit for about $300 even googled a $10 off coupon code. All in all this was the best experience and best product I have bought in a long time. Their customer service was also great when I called for an update since Christmas was coming and I wanted to know if I ordered it in time. You wont find a better, cheaper violin of this quality anywhere trust me I looked for 2 weeks.

Fiddlershop is my new go-to for all things violins! I called the shop on a Monday, put in an order, and requested to pick it up the same day. I was in a time crunch for a gift--I had to have it on a certain day. I had spent too much time trying to decide on a student level violin. I called the Fiddlershop on a Wednesday to be CERTAIN they could ship it to me and I would get it on the next Monday. The gentleman I talked with checked and told me they were busy but could still get my violin out that day and have plenty to time for Monday delivery.The charge showed up on my card that day, but I didnt get an invoice/confirmation or a tracking number. I called back the next day (Thursday) and was told that because of the holiday rush, mine would not be going out that day. I explained the situation and that I had been told it would ship the previous day. He put me on hold to see what could be done.He came back and told me my order would be pushed ahead and would ship that day, he would take it to the shipper, AND they would pick up the cost of expedited shipping so that it would make it to me on time.They went WAY above and WAY beyond to make me happy even though I was buying such a low-cost (probably very low profit margin) violin.They really took very good care of me and saved the day.I cant praise their customer service enough!

The violins there are really good! I bought a violin, and it was less expensive than the other violins not in the store (but it was still expensive, $3,100) I recommend this place, violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists.

I have never left a negative review about anything before. I paid over $300 to have my cello repaired here. The main thing that needed repairing was that my end-pin was slipping, but they found other things that needed repairs as well which I agreed to. When I went to pick up my cello after being told it was finished, the end-pin was still slipping. They cut notches into the end-pin as a quick-fix. It worked for a few weeks but today I had to take it in somewhere else because the end-pin won’t stay in at all anymore, and I am unable to play it. Now at the new place I’ve discovered that the other repairs they did were not done correctly either, and it will cost me another $500 to fix it. No one here was particularly friendly, and I wasted hundreds of dollars for nothing. I did buy a nice new bow from the store, and it was a good price, so I do think it’s a good place to shop, just not for repairs. At least not cello repairs.

Such friendly staff! I was greeted by a very nice lady who showed me around first. So helpful in letting me find the violin of my dreams! I am a newbie at playing the violin and I tried out different kinds, lefty and righty, since I am a lefty. I ended up going for a righty for a few different reasons. I spoke to Felix, the luthier, and he gave me expert advice as well as Claire who so patiently explained things to me. The other gentleman, Pierre, tried two violins out for me to feel which one was superior in the same type to make sure I got the one that had the sounds I wanted. They really all took the time for me and I really had a wonderful experience. I love my Fiddlerman Concert violin set!! 😍

I just want to say that the staff at Fiddlershop is the best. Yesterday I decided to pay a visit to Fiddlershop to buy a new shoulder rest. I dont live close to the store, so its a real road trip to get there. I hit lots of traffic and arrived just as the store was closing. I was heart broken!! Luckily, some of the staff was still there, and they let me come in!!! They took the time to help me select the perfect shoulder rest and a new rosin. I never got the feeling that they were anxious to leave. Thanks guys for being so patient.I have been in to this shop before to have my vioin worked on. The vibe of this store is pure joy and love of stringed instruments and music in general. You can tell that everyone at Fiddlershop really loves their job. So, I cant recommend this store enough.

Im new to the unfretted string instrument world (Ive played guitar for around 10 years) and was looking to try my luck at learning a new instrument. I looked up some info online about various instruments and pricings before I stumbled upon Fiddlershop. I gave them a call and was met by arguably the friendliest receptionist Ive ever spoken to. She took the time to give me various information on cellos, violins, and violas and discussed with me what would be optimal in my price range. I went down to the shop and was greeted by each individual worker and they really made me feel like a member of a family. I finally rented a cello for a week and was given a discount for being local. When I went to return the cello, I had a friendly conversation with a different receptionist until the owner of the shop stumbled in. He gave me free rosin, a shirt, and a free 2 week rental trial of a violin. The most important thing I gained from this however was a new standard in customer service. After countless outings at GuitarCenter and SamAsh, I know the typical instrument salesman rundown and wont be made a fool of by inexperienced workers trying to make commission. This shop has officially set the standard of what I consider a music shop to be and Id recommend anyone to contact them, regardless of skill level or budget. Fiddlershop for life!!
