I know this review is coming in a little late- my apologies. However, I have to share our experiences with the world. At one point about 5 or 6 years ago my boyfriend and I were going thru a hard time. We needed a car desperately & being a family of 6 we couldnt get what we needed done with one car. We had been working on our credit and everyone refused to work with us. Not Sylvie & Howard! They are all about helping families get on their feet by offering transportation at a great price. They also understand that every now and then people experience hardships. They showed us that they truly care about each and every one of their customers. We were very open & honest about everything that was going on. We felt comfortable working with them. They were actually able to us out. We were so relieved and thankful. A few pros about working with them is they are not trying to sell the highest priced car on the lot to everyone. They really listen to your wants and needs and help fit you in the perfect car. They have valuable cars at a decent price that will not break your bank. You are not there for hours while they are working on financing and paperwork, they were fast and diligent in every aspect of the process. My favorite thing about working with them is that they are two of the most down to earth people I know with such good hearts!I went back a few years later to buy another car and they were very helpful once again. If anyone needs reliable transportation they are who you should go see! I rate them above all other dealerships out there. They are the best mom & pop one stop car shop out there! My significant other bought a vehicle, Land rover LR2, back in August...lasted a week...over 7 grand down the drain. Replaced the fuel pump, MAF sensor, key FOB, battery...list goes on and it is still sitting in our driveway. We drove from Davenport to pick up this vehicle. Didnt even get to drive it for 2 weeks. Thankfully our kids were not in the vehicle when it died and refused to turn back on. We have had nothing but a headache with this vehicle and empty pockets. if we could give this place no stars we would. The people seemed to be friendly but we got screwed over point blank period. They are selling faulty vehicles and when we reached out to them we got no help.After seeing the response we got back further explains our 1 star rating. There was only one phone conversation with you about this issue and all you advised us was maybe it was a sensor. The vehicle was NEVER test drove...the owner turned it on..but that was all...when turned on my husband asked why the check engine light was on... the owner reassured us that it was nothing to worry about. I didnt mention within the first week of us driving it, which was maybe, a few hundred miles, the radiator blew. Gas was leaking from the fuel pump the moment it was purchased and somebody decided to DIY on that by putting weld over the pin hole to us making it look like a small fix, just to get it off the lot. You know what....youre absolutely right! Its our fault. Its our fault for putting our trust into a reputable car lot. Its our fault we only got to drive the vehicle not even 2 weeks. Its our fault that all these things went wrong with the vehicle eminently after purchasing it. Like I said....waste of 7 grand plus....mechanic says faulty computer system. Code error...after we fixed the issues that had ALREADY came with the vehicle..it ran...then yet another issue..after another...after another. Did you know that he was a mechanic? Ohhh...no...too busy thinking someone is just making a review to make you look bad when youre not ..lesson learned. We should have read the review about the other customer that left 2 stars...same thing happens to them...hundreds of thousands dollars in repairs and vehicle still in the shop she said...shaking my head. Lesson learned...God bless!

Bought my 2001 Corvette from Howard a few weeks back. It was a very smooth experience that exceeded my expectations. I had been shopping around before I found HHOTT Cars and immediately noticed the difference between this shop and the traditional used car lots out there. I don’t write reviews often when I do that mean that I had outstanding service or horrible service but here at at HOTT car sales Best dealership in town and outstanding customer service when I was looking for my first car I went to plenty of dealerships and when I walked into HOTT cars I found just what I was looking for Howard’s selection was great. Howard works with you very understanding and fair and will help you as much as he can, If I were in need a car this would definitely be the dealership to go to.

There is a reason this man and his wife own a 5 star dealership. (Which is generally unheard of) Number one, he worked as the go between for my bank and I, answering all questions and giving all minor details before being asked. Super smooth transaction all the way around. No b.s. at all, which Ive gotten from every other dealership Ive ever dealt with. No high pressure sales tactics either, just a straight up dude. Also, the price on the truck was a very fair price for the make, model, and low miles it had on it. Truly surprising. Just like the rest of the cars on the lot. Heres the thing though.... We test drove the truck and everything seemed just fine. On the way home, I noticed a bit of a tic started to happen in the rear end. Its over an hours drive for me to Clewiston. As soon as I pulled into town I went straight to my mechanic. The rear end had a pinion bearing issue. I had already signed 3 documents stating that I was purchasing vehicle as is. I called Howard anyway ofcourse. Without hesitation he told me to get a few estimates and he would stroke me a check for a reasonably priced repair. (Ofcourse I was skeptical) Anyhow, my mechanic worked up a fair estimate monday, put the truck on the car lift tuesday morning, and by 12 noon tuesday Howard had wired him the cash for the repair! Unbelievable. Wasnt a cheap repair either. He paid for the whole rear end to be rebuilt. Bottom line is this.... with the paper work I signed..... I was screwed if Howard wasnt an honest and fair man. Thats the reason his dealership is a 5 star dealership. Just dont find many straight up men like that anymore.
