I was nervous but Robert made me feel so comfortable. He did not push me or anything like that. I asked my friends after I bought the car and they all said the car was nice and the price was great. Very nice experience.
I had a great experience with Robert. He was very informative and friendly. The place is one low price. The cars are all fleet maintained with regular oil changes. They also have a seven day return policy. That sold me. Bought a great car at a great price. I will definitely tell my friends

We were on point when buying our car from hertz of pampano. Jeremy was a nice guy but the boss Bill was arrogant and seemed shocked we had it all together. He asked us about warranty options and we told him we would call For the information because we lived 3 hours away and he had already kept us waiting a long time even though there didn’t seem to be any another customers there. I’ve had to call repeatedly for him to finally email the information and now weeks later I’m still waiting for the paperwork he was suppose to fed ex me. How busy can you possibly be?? I called Jeremy to help and he said everything g gets filtered through Bill but that he will get the paperwork and fed ex it himself. Still waiting. I gave it 2 stars only because Jeremy was nice and still accepts my calls through this.
Please read: This place is no good. First time I spoke to the manager on the phone he was so rude and condescending, because I asked corporate to connect me with them since they have never answered calls. Then I make an appt that he was making sure I show up on time and when I got there on time he asks me to sit and relax and he only had one customer and its not like a line coming out of the doors. Then he goes on and on about how he does a job, that he believes is not getting paid enough for it and he deserves a lot more than he does. He also didnt like me calling him a sales person when he works at Hertz Car Sales plus sells cars.Later on and on another day I decide to buy one of their vehicles which was, as per their claim, not on inventory yet and promised to send a bill of sale via email once available and despite my follow ups via emails and calls they never answer, I never got the bill of sale.I truly and hurtfully believe that they discriminate against their customers for their race.Copy of this complaint is going to the manager directly and to corporate. Now you know why Hertz files for bankruptcy.

This office doesnt know the corporate policies. picking up car in orlando, (rent2buy), and I can buy it at any location. why the sales person answering the phone doesnt know the company policies is a problem. Now going to buy at ft lauderdale store. they know whats up.... Anyway, the rent2buy is great program. this location just needs better training.
I just dealt with an accident, where my car was deemed a total loss. With limited time to find a car, I was able to find a GREAT replacement car at Hertz. I want to thank Michael for his great customer service from the time I made the reservation all the way up until the car was purchased and I left the lot. I appreciate Michael, being understading of my situation and being ale to still convince to rent the car any way just to get a feel for the car and come back three days after to see what could be done about financing. Thank you to the manager Blake for all your assistance with the financing.I got denied twice prior to going to Hertz and they assisted me so well during this process. I truly appreciate it and I would reccomend this location to anyone who wants to rent a car or wants to buy a rental car. You will not be disappointed!
Not good for out of state buyers. The prices seemed good and the sales people friendly. I told them I wanted the car and asked if I could place a deposit to hold the car. They dont take deposits (or credit cards). I asked if I insured the car and booked a flight to pay cash and showed proof of both that the car be held for me and was told yes. I booked a flight for 6:30AM the next morning which would have had me at the dealer at the time they open for business and gave them proof of insurance on the car and they sent me an email hours later saying another sales person sold it today. I understand wanting to sell it ASAP, but upon reading reviews, other people have traveled for a particular car here and experienced the same thing. This dealer is clearly inexperienced with out of state buyers and will not hold a car even with a deposit. I wasted time and money - not only ridiculous, but bad business practice. Save yourself the time unless you live nearby.

Great customer service here. Second time I purchase a car from here and it was not just because of a good deal but also because of the great customer service that they have. Hassle free for sure no pressure.
The good thing they have reasonable fees and the entire process was nice and smooth.But never agree to buy optional contracts they offer with JMA : especially GAP in case of total loss. Because it’s not a GAP at all. They will pay the difference between rest of your debt on financing and their assessment of the value of your vehicle. In my case they evaluated it $1500 more then was the selling price of this car. My insurance company gave me a little less than was the selling price. As a result I still owe a couple K having no car. As far as Herz also offers extended 60000 miles warranty on mechanical failure from the same company(JMA) it wouldn’t be a surprise if there’d be any trick too.
Came in on a Saturday from Boca Raton, To be helped by Robert Jacobs and Jeanine - Manager, All was very helpful and knowledgeable, family atmosphere yet very professional not to mention the great deal on our Nissan that others had priced $2000 to $2500 higher, Again thanks to all at Hertz in Pompano
If all of Hertz is like this, no wonder they are going out of business. Called to ask about a car and was rushed off the phone. Asked to get a walk around video of the car since I am out of state and the salesperson did not seem interested at all. 2 starts for at least not wasting my time.

Buying a car can be a stressful experience . Robert and the entire staff were extremely polite, patient and not pushy at all. The cars here are excellent quality and I know I am not buying a cluncker. Can’t beat their prices and Hertz will stand by every car that comes off that lot. Very happy, will purchase second car from them.
Everyone knows buying a car is stressful & can be time consuming so forth and so on.. Also car dealerships can be hit or miss. Well I have found the perfect place to start (7 dealerships later) I found working with Mr.Robert Sellari at Hertz Car Sales, branch: 1000 S Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL was the the best sales agent I have found ever. I recommend popping in to meet him first. This will save you time and money etc and you see what I saw.I am super happy with my 2016 Jeep Compass. Thank you Bob.
Found a great car there and paid cash. Left the lot with title and license plate but only a single car key which we thought odd. The sales agent kept saying there is only a single key--sorry. We emailed corporate offices to ask if this were a normal practice--to give only a single key. Corporate offices never bothered to reply but directed our email back to the manager who did not have an answer either. A programmed key is pretty expensive to have made. I think we should have received a second programmed key or a discount for the missing key, and at least the courtesy of a response from the Hertz corporate office or the manager of Hertz sales in Pompano.
Fast and easy. The rep was courteous and engaging. He explained my options and answered my questions in a professional manner. I am also pleased to say that the vehicle was very clean.
Drove two hours to pick up a rent2Buy car that we were told was in good condition by the corporate office. When we arrived, we found a car with a hole in the rear bumper cover, and a pushed in rear quarter panel. Needless to say, we didnt take the car. The only thing they offered us instead was a car one year older, 5,000 more miles - and almost $1,000 higher in price. And it was not available for 5 days. The local office told us they had no control over anything - it was all up to corporate. When I called corporate, I got a bored operator who simply said you want to cancel your reservation then? And this is their Prestige Program? Gezzz.
Getting a down payment refunded is a nightmare. The manager Blake is unhelpful, refuses to put any effort in talking to higher ups. Acts like he has no connection to the refund process. Convenient. He practically hung up on me. Was told Id get my money in 20-30 days. The corporate phone number is telling 42-50 days from the return date. Blake wants me to wait to September 3rd, to see if MAYBE Ill get my money that day. Its no small sum of money either. Absolutely absurd. Terrible customer service. Their words have no meaning. Snake oil salesmen. Borderline Thieves.

How do you rent a car to someone that has to drive 13 hours with bad tires. How do you rent a car to someone that smells like 5 dirty dogs have been in the car. Then you tell your customer theres nothing you can do. To make matters worse you cant speak to anyone in customer service because phone lines are down. Hertz you just lost one of your most loyal customers!!! IF I COULD GIVE YOU A ZERO I WOULD!!!!

My experience with Hertz Car Sales was beyond my expectations. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and very polite. They created a stress-free environment because buying a car can be very stressful. The quality of their cars was also a plus. All of their cars are serviced and come with a 1 year warranty. If you dont have the best credit or no credit at all, they will do their best to help you in any way they can. If you cant afford to buy a brand new car, Hertz Car Sales is your best bet because all their cars are in great shape and for a great price.
I left a message last night for a car I was interested in I saw online. Received a call from a gentleman named Robert early today. Told him I wanted the car and I would pay cash. Told him I was driving from an hour away, spoke to him 3 times about the car. Drove all the way there and tells me the car sold 5 minutes ago, BS! I spoke to him 40 minutes ago on my way...why would he not mention the car was in the process of being sold. So angry!! Waste of time! Probably never even had it and just trying to sell me something else!
Both times ....when I picked up the car and when I dropped it off the attendants were very nice and very informative about renting the car. I had to rent one because my car was in a accident. Only one thing I got there early 7:50. They got there right at 8 they let me in when they unlocked the door. They didnt say anything to me for about 5 mins. later the attendant said good morning and proceeded to wait on me. I will tell my friends and anyone else to go here. Just correct the one thing if someone is early handled it a little bit better.
I have been trying to help my niece buy a pre-owned vehicle, after two disappointing weeks of searching for a decent car and after been subject to all sort of scams. I was dreading going to another used car dealer. What a Nightmare it’s been!!!. So when I went to Hertz, I was happily surprised when the Sale Consultant, Dennis Lester and his Manager Phil at used car sale Pompano Hertz made us feel so much at ease. They were both very helpful, friendly, & professional. I really appreciated their zero pressure approach. They were caring and polite, I have no words to explain how it feels to find two helpful nice individuals after swimming in a pool full of sharks. I was sorelieved!!! They really made the car buying experience comfortable for me and my niece, so they and Hertz’s reputation was what ultimately encouraged us to highly recommend them.

Had a very bad experience at this Hertz dealer in Pompano Beach. Not to much with the sales rep, because all the time he offered me what he thought it was the program about. They offered me to signed up with Fair and offered me unlimited mileage and they were even very exiting about knowing that Fair was a great option better than buy or lease. “You get unlimited mileage”. “Insurance”, you are getting a great car for a price of someone that has perfect credit. Of course I ended giving over $1700 down. If the deal was worth it how they presented it to me. Why not. Lets do it.The manager Blake did the whole process. Spoke with a representative of Fair on the phone while he had my cellphone on his hands doing the whole process in the application. He told me sign here and before signing i asked again insurance is included, unlimited mileage, money down and monthly charges and made sure that my next payment will be next month. Yes yes yes yes yes to everything I asked. So the manager said yes and I signed where he told me.The problem was that there is NOT UNLIMITED mileage with Fair. Max 10K per year!!! Of course I already drove over 100 miles because that’s what I do for leaving. I contacted Blake by email the next morning, early! I called them at 10am and they were not at the office. I emailed again. Then Juan finally called me and I told him you told me yesterday that car has unlimited mileage and he said yes it is unlimited so then I explained to him NO IS NOT!!! He did the right thing and agreed that he didn’t know and he though it was unlimited. Of course I did not hear back from Blake the manager. Probably he was trying to see how he covered is error. So late afternoon he decided to call me with an attitude: “Whats up?” Like that. The tough guy, Typical attitude of someone that wants to cover his butt and forget abt the client. I asked him did you read my emails? “No i don’t have any emails from you”. First lie! I told him you offered me unlimited mileage! “No I never said that NEVER”! Second lie!!! “You sign the contract he said” like blaming on me everything. Well remember you had my phone in your hands and you did everything for me!! I told him, His attitude was really bad. A typical car sales person that couldn’t admitted his error. That make a sale and you will never see his face again!!! At least Juan say it “I didn’t know, I thought all the time it was unlimited”.What do they think? That we don’t have responsibilities and a job to attend? This was your ERROR Mr. Blake not mine. I trust every word you said. Because you work for a brand recognition company. And you made a big mistake. Did you replied any of my emails NO! Did you give me any solution NO! All you said was well you need to deal with Fair they have your money not us.If you don’t know about a product. Don’t sell it please!!! Your big mistake was trying to make me look like I was the one that didn’t understand and by denying something you said, Juan said not once so many times on the sale process IT IS UNLIMITED MILEAGE, at you office. Your reputation is Zero now for me.Take responsibility of your error!!!And of course I tried to contact Fair and send a message. Finally when I spoke with them they said: “If you drove over 100 miles can not return the car”. You can only talk with us through the application. So who did Blake spoke with? I asked her? “You can not change your program because the car is already out of the dealer” So I had options and they didn’t told me? Really?Mr. Blake if you offered me something. If your rep Juan offered me something. I did what you asked for. Now is your time to do and deliver what you offered me.I Emailed him this morning again and no answers.Lets see if he reply to this post!
Have had a number of prior rentals from this office. It has always been, as this one was, a flawless experience, with employees, especially the drivers (one in particular) going to great measure for our satisfaction.
The location manager, Blake, and salesman bob sellari were both grest and very honest about everything and never pressured me to make any decisions. Highly recommend this place!

We bought a 2016 Mazda3 at this location and they told us that the car was 100% checked and a good condition to drive but when I started driving it at more than 50mil/hour and when I pressed the brakes, the whole car beginning to shake then later I find out that the brake disc front wheels were uneven and I have to replace them. By the way they sold us a protection plan but this plan doesnt include brakes, sucks! Right? My advice if you want a car from here, just rent it and drive it for a few days before you decide to buy it.
Quick, easy car purchase. No haggle. What they list the car for is usually a couple thousand lower than KBB. Was in and out in less than an hour..but, bring a checkbook, they dont take cash or cc.

Jerry Burris truly made my first major vehicle purchase an experience worth remembering. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Jerry also allowed me to shop at my own pace, while intuitively guiding me toward a sound decision — indicating that he was actively listening and analyzing my style and personality. He was very patient and open to casual dialogue, making our interaction transformational, rather transactional.Phil, the manager, was able to secure a competitively low APR, reasonably low monthly payments and did not try to upsell warranty packages, but instead suggested the best options for me.Both of them have a great sense of humor and charming, yet modest personalities. That being said, for someone like myself who is quite the introvert, I was comfortable the entire time and at no point felt the need to have my guard up.The only regret I had was wasting the past two days prior at other dealerships who were clearly out for their own best interests. Hertz Car Sales in Pompano truly exemplifies customer service.I got a very well-equipped VW Passat and Im not ashamed to admit that I sometime peek out my windows to glance at it. Yesterday we had a reservation (made in September) for December 26th at 6 pm we arrived at 5h55 it was close. We call the customer service they told us that they couldnt help us tonight but tomorrow somebody will call us the next day. Nobody called. We went back to the pompano location. They told us that the no longer had a car for us. They never call try to contact us or to call another rental car company. Worst rental car experience ever. We had some reservations already made for our vacation in Florida we had to cancelled everything since we didnt have any transportation.
They only proved us with one car key (purchasing another is over $150), the battery was dead when they gave us the car and we had to waste our time finding a sears location to have battery replaced the dealer knew the battery was weak). The registration and plates were not validate, we were charge $700 deals pre fees. Have spent 2 days going to the DMV for problems with the vehicle registration. Stay away from this location.Try another location.

Service Needs A Little Improvement. The Guy That Helped Me Wouldn’t Let Me Get The Rental Because He Claims That I Wasn’t On My Insurance. There Are Three People On My Insurance So I Had To Call State Farm And Have Them Talk To The Guy So He Could Give Me My Rental. The Rental I Got Was A Nissan Rogue And It Had A Bunch Of Water Marks On It. Plus On The Third Day Of Having The Car It Kept Telling Me To Check The Pressure On One Of The Tires. I Will Maybe Give These Guys A Second Go But If The Service Isn’t Better I Won’t Ever Go Back!
None of the sales agents greeted me and the only person trying to help anybody was the car rental guy he was very sweet and so I rented I thought about buying a car there and changed my mind rented a vehicle and thats what we did
