Outstanding experience. They service my yamahas all the time. And help me with any issues my Regulator might have, by phone or service call. They go that extra mile.
I lost a tire on my double axle trailer, I was on 95 and close to this shop. Luckily I was able to drive over to this shop with 3 more tires and when I got there, the guy was about to leave, but he didnt. He stayed, fixed my trailer and gave me a great service. Looking forward to replace the other 3 tires, hubs and bearings with him.

Jamie, Dave and Collen treat you like family and are the best I have dealt with in my 51 years of boating, including 20 years in the business. Coastline Marine has been taking care of my boat for over 10 years. I would never trust anyone else with my boat, my prized possession, other than Coastline Marine. They are knowledgeable and always treat you like you are their only customer. The mechanics at Coastline are incredibly knowledgeable and leave you boat clean and in perfect shape. If you want the very best care for your boat, Jamie Strauss and his team at Coastline Marine are the only choice.
My name is OTTO HOLM and I met Jamie at the Miami boat show in 2019, I purchased a Star Craft from him and its an amazing boat. Jamie provided me with everything I needed to make the transaction as smooth as possible. Any questions or service Ive needed, Jamie has never let me down. If you are considering buying a boat I would highly recommend you go see Jamie you wont be disappointed
If your looking for a technician to come out to your location, id look elsewhere. A mechanic had come out to diagnose a check engine light on one of my engines related to fuel. Spent close to an hour and couldnt diagnose the problem and was even suggesting that they take my boat to their shop to remove/repair injectors. Mechanic had no clue. Had another reputable mechanic come out and figured it out immediately which ended up being a faulty sensor. Thats not the reason for my negative review, what they charged me is. We had agreed on a price and I paid in advance which included a service fee and 1 hr of service. The mechanic spent just short of an hour. When the mechanic left, I signed the invoice which was for the pricing we had agreed upon. Shortly after they charge me another amount which of course was never agreed upon and refused to remove. Close to $600 to come out to my location, spend less than an hour and have absolutely no clue of what was going on. I never write reviews but this one definitely merits one. If they wouldve stuck to the pricing we agreed, I still wouldve been unhappy as the mechanic couldnt diagnose the issue, but I wouldve given them the benefit of the doubt. But to tack on the extra charges is rediculous. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
Jamie Colleen David...... Are all top-notch and professional they are always quick to help.... They take care of me like family I wouldnt go anywhere else for my boat
Coastline Marine was able to take care of my boat in timely manner. They also saved me a ton of money by taking the time to pursue my warranty and convince them that I should be covered under warranty. Initially they refused but with their constant effort they finally agreed. In the end the warranty covered almost the entire bill. I’m very satisfied with Jammie and Danny for their efforts and the work they did. I would highly recommend them.
Didnt even want to talk to me hard to find somebody to help
Took my new-to-me boat in for an idle and cable adjustment. Chose this place based on reviews and the fact that it was on my way to work. One day on my way to work i saw that they had the cowling off with no one in sight working on it. It was on one of the many overcast, rainy days weve had lately. I thought to myself, i hope they dont leave it like that for too long with the weather like this but figured they had it under control. The next day they called to tell me that something with the electronics started smoking. A week and 1400 bucks later i have a new stater and voltage regulator that were working just fine when i dropped it off. To make matters worse, i was told it would only be a $1000 a few days ago. I argued this point and was told that i already got a deal . Yea, what a deal! I watched the tech who was fielding my complaint add numbers from the paperwork up and come to $850. Not entirely sure what that number represented but i would guess it was their cost. I pleaded my case and was told there was nothing they could do. This is why boat repair places have a bad reputation.*Update* I thought I should add a quick update since Coastline decided to respond to this review a full year later. After I wrote the last review I ran the boat on muffs and found out that the original issue I had taken the boat in for WAS NOT FIXED. I then had to take it to a different shop to have it repaired correctly.
Stopped in with a fuel leak after to speaking with Jamie on the phone. Incredibly friendly crew diagnosed and installed new fuel pump in about an hour. Fair price for parts and labor. Great experience - Ill be back. Highly recommend!
Just wanted to drop a few lines about an amazing experience I had with coastline marine specifically with Jamie Strauss. Mechanic after mechanic could not find the ongoing problem with electrical components of my Evinrude etec. I finally was referred to Jamie at coastline marine. Within 5 minutes of being in Jamie’s hands he diagnosed the problem and had parts in hand to correct issues. He got me back in the water and saved my week long trip I had planned to islamorada. It’s rare to find a mechanic this good and reliable. He made a lifelong customer out of me. If you want a great mechanic who can fix anything, Jamie Strauss is your man.
Ive had Coastline Marine work on several of my boats over the years and they have always done a great job with fast friendly service. In addition to keeping my boats in tip top shape, I had them come out and do a survey on a boat I was ready to buy and they identified several problems that would have cost me $$$ - dodged a bullet on that one... Most recently, they replaced a blown lower unit on my 2 stroke Yamaha 90hp and gave me a great deal and of course great service. I highly recommend Jamie and the Coastline crew and am glad to have my boat back in the water. Thanks!
We are first time boat owners and Coastal has made it so smooth. We have loved working with Jamie and his crew!! We highly reccommend him. Every time we need help, he’s always there. It has been a wonderful experience. If you are in the market for a new boat or for help with your current boat, this is the place for you!!
Absolutely no comment about them!! I gave them a Suzuki motor under warranty for a repair and they told me that the motor was scrap because of water in fuel and they charged me 120 bucks for the inspection. after reading some topics online I was able to fix the motor myself with about 2 hours work and no spare parts and Im not a mechanic. MOTOR RUNS GREAT NOW!!
Did an amazing job on my boat and paid less then i expected on a fiberglass repair job. Got quotes that were close to double. Super clean work and was ready when they said it would be. Actually had owner of the shop call me and check to see if i was satisfied. Will definitely use them again.
My boat sank during Hurricane Irma. Based solely on online reviews from other customers, I contacted Jamie Strauss at Coastline Marine about repowering and refurbishing my boat. Jamie not only quickly provided me with a detailed estimate but just as important, coordinated efforts to recover the boat from the Keys and transport it to Pompano Beach.I am happy to report that Jamie did everything he said he would do and held very close to the original estimate. The work was done to my complete satisfaction and he delivered the boat back to me in perfect condition. It is rare to find service companies as honest and thorough as Coastline and I give them my highest recommendation.
It was 4:30 on a Thursday and I had just towed my boat down from Savannah, on the way to the Bahamas, and my engines wouldnt start. My local shop had forgotten to initialize the new computers that they put on and I had to have a fix fast! I called all of the closest Suzuki dealers near the ramp that my boat was at and none of them had a mechanic that would stay late. Coastline Marine was there waiting on me to show up, stayed open till after 6 and had me back on the water that night!!! What an awesome crew they have!! Thanks for everything guys!!!!!!!!
I wanted to take a moment to share the very positive experience I had with Coastline Marine on 6-13-19. The purpose of the service call was to replace a defective timing belt & tensioner on my low-time STBD Yamaha F-300. Jamie Owner of Coastline Marine expedited the replacement parts for me and had his mechanic Scott at my house in just a few days in order to get my boat back in the water just in time for Fathers Day. I sincerely appreciate the incredible customer service and highly recommend using them since they are honest, professional and good people. I will no doubt continue to use Coastline Marine for all my Yamaha services.
My experience with Coastline Marine was amazing! The staff is very welcoming, the techs are very knowledgeable and the owner makes you feel like family! Its not easy to find trustworthy/affordable shops so glad we did!Thank you Coastline!!
Best yamaha shop in South Florida. Great pricing, helpful, honest staff with years of experience repair all types of boats
Worked with Jamie and Danny. Nothing but professional and A class service. Would highly recommend Coastline
Works on all makes and models. Very knowledgeable parts pros and the owner is a class act. Thanks for the great work
First of all, if I could I would give them ZERO stars. They had my boat from October 2013 to February 2014. I brought running boat in for a standard 100 hour service only to be told that my port engine needed a new ECU and a fuel pump. They tell me those parts will range around $1,500 per engine. Please keep in mind that my boat ran fine before I dropped it off to them. After three and a half months and $3,500 later my boat runs good. Well, I brought it to another mechanic (one that I was referred to by a trusting friend) and they found some work that still needed to be done. Some of that work was listed on Coastlines invoice. So, I dont know if they are crooks or if they just have no clue how to work on outboards. My advice to any possible future clients would be to STAY AWAY FROM COASTLINE MARINE IN POMPANO BEACH.
Owner Jamie and Technician Nick saved my vacation. Thank you gentlemen for helping me!! Only place I would go in South Florida.
I cannot say enough good things about the owner and his staff at this boat repair facility. I just had my yearly service completed along with the diagnosis and repair of the VST system on my 2 stroke Yahama 200HP engine for my 21 Center Console. My 2 prior boat repair shops only put a band aid on this issue that Ive been experiencing during my 5 years of boat ownership. The team at Coastline diagnosed the source of the problem (water getting into the fuel), clearly explained how it was occurring, and fixed it! Im thankful to have found an honest, affordable, and reliable boat service center in South Florida!
WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!This was the worst experience i ever had with a mechanic! They had the boat for 2 months and i had to take it back there 3 times cause they couldnt figure out the problem. They might be good at changing a new motor but as for fixing one they suck and charge alot of money for bullshit work. Im never going back there again and i dont recommend anyone to take their boat there unless you want to give them thousands of dollars for questionable work, damage to your boat, not getting your boat back for months, them changing and charging you for parts with out your approval and getting a questionable invoice. My experience with them was terrible and i think the guy who fixes my lawn mower would have done better. Coastline Marine needs to be closed down!!!!
Jerry did a great job on my boat engine, I shipped it all the way From Kentucky and got a quality job done, highly recommend Jerry at coastline marine
Jamie and Joe and the team at Coastline are excellent people to work with if you have a problem with your boat. I highly recommend them in the marine industry where its hard to find honest people. Thanks to the whole team at Coastline marine.
Great Fast Service, They sure understand the sense of urgency, thank you
Broke my motor that worked without issues for 10 years prior. Brought boat in for a simple carb cleaning, after cleaning carb, it went downhill. They started ordering parts and racking up my bill. Ended up replacing entire carb overcharged me 110$ on the part itself. The motor started having more issues brought it back I was told after 3 weeks of it sitting there in their dirty yard that a intake manifold was warped. Tried to shift blame to me and told me I overheated it when I took it out. The lack of professionalism at this establishment is the only consistency present. These reviews go back to 2007 take the hint. When I told Jamie my attorney advised me to take my vessel out of their shop he said Mine is on retainer bring that sh**) Then told me I have 1 hour to come get my boat it will be left outside of their fence, with my box of parts. They returned the boat in non working order with parts missing and motor disassembled. This place is an embarrassment to the local marine industry. Boat was in shop for almost 2 months 600$ and was spit out in the most distasteful way.
Super friendly and knowledgeable, thanks
Bought a new Evinrude 150 etec from Coastline Marine last March.Had an electrical problem with the boat today and there was no power going to the motor. Dropped by the shop and explained my issue to Jamie the owner and he said he would stop and look at the boat when he was heading out for lunch. He showed me what was causing the problem and showed me what to do. Really gave me rapid service and got me out of a jam.Great customer service.Jim MacKenzie
Great job done on my boat, very professional and friendly team.
Absolutely the worst service i have experienced. I brought my boat in under warrantee for a trim tilt motor and a plactic cover for the throttle. Its been 5 weeks with no updates or call backs. Wouldnt suggest using them!!!
WAS VERY INPRESSED WITH THE *MARINESERVICE* WILL BE SCHEDULEING SRRVICEFOR * NEW * OUTBOARD ENGINE ?RAVENOUS RICHARD !
***They will take your money fast and they are proud of it!***Unfortunately this is not my first bad experience with this place. They kept my little boat with an Evinrude 30 for 2 weeks without any communication and when I ask to have the boat back, they rushed repairs and overcharged me $1,058.33 for fuel pump replacement, including $193.23 for new pump shipping and $0.70 per tie strap used???Plus ***shop supplies*** $17.15. Isnt tie straps included in shop supplies??? Does Evinrude knows about their gouging practices? After all, on the first day on the water, we verify that the battery was not receiving charge from the motor and when I brought the boat back for them to verify what they did during repairs, Jamie (the owner) started swindling for more charges with the customarily practices. I took the boat to another facility for repair.Shame on you Coastline Marine!Shame on EVINRUDE for allowing them to be an authorized shop! They have no respect for customers!
Last year I repowered my Boston Whaler at Coastline with an Evinrude E-tec. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. Jamie and staff are super! Although the process took a couple weeks (one part was on national backorder), the install was exceptional. Very fair price and top notch service. These guys know their business. BTW a killer motor!
Horrid Service. Our boat was stuck with these guys for a year and was never fixed. They even put non-Honda parts into the engine! Thousands of dollars later, the engine was still not running. And charges of service not done. DO NOT bring your boat to these guys. Had to take the engine to another serviceman to have the entire engine rebuilt from what THIS company did. THIS COMPANY NEEDS SHUT DOWN for the crooks they are.
They were awesome people great service.
Great service everything is done accordingly, outstanding technicians and service.
Great boat service
Fair price
I brought my boat to bottom paint it and they put a hole in my hull and theyre saying they are not responsible for it .
Great and quick work
No one answers the phone
