I wanted a Mercury OEM carburetor for my Mercruiser sterndrive. The BAM website was honest and accurate in their description of their need to acquire the part from Mercury. Order placed 6/12, their estimate was early July E-mailed to follow up on 7/2, received an IMMEDIATE reply from Heather, a real person, advising it should be available for shipping after the holiday weekend. True to their word, the part was shipped on 7/6. I really appreciate when a company responds to email inquiries quickly AND accurately. Theyve earned my continued business.

I ordered some items from Bam Marine. One of the items was not in stock. They contacted me fast to let me know it wasn’t in stock. In addition they put a hold on other items that I ordered, just in case I didn’t need them anymore. They also referred me to another store where the items needed might be in stock. The staff was helpful, friendly, informative and fast! Would recommend!

Entered my serial number, bought the part, but no where did it say it was for a boat with outdrives, and that there is an alternate part for inboards. Charged $25 for shipping, I returned it for $12 and it was there in 2 days. I found the correct part, for half the shipping and the cut sheat advised which part was for what’s drives. No response the first email or phone message.In short, a part that cost me $98 and returned in the never opened bag netted me $40 on the return.... with a policy like this, I will never do business with Them again. There is other business’ out there that have better customer service and return policy
I purchased a 5hp Mercury new. It ran 5 seconds or less. Had broken air intake parts nothing obvious,just a lot of little fragments or pieces with cracks or damage. I took it to the local Mercury dealer & because Bam Marine never gave me any warranty information or paperwork and didnt cooperate with the Bend dealer, I had to pay to get my motor back. I went back to the lake where after a half hour I got it to run for 35 to 40 seconds. Bam refused to do anything for me. I had to pay shipping back and I was promised a refund that never came. It took almost 6 months, I spent aprx $1,000 for the repairs and to prep it for shipping. I did find out that they used my warranty which they showed me the repair ticket. They explained how great it ran and then they sold my returned motor and gave me a partial refund, which didnt show up for 6 months. Im retired on a budget and have been waiting my whole life to get a little boat and now im never going to even attempt to try this again as ive already paid for 1 new motor and more. Ive received no help after 16 calls to Bam Marine. James J Julius
This is THE BEST PLACE for Mercruiser parts. They frequently have all the parts I need in-stock, other parts arrive quickly. The web site makes it easy to locate the correct parts. The people are friendly and helpful.

The online parts look-up (using engine serial number) makes finding the right parts soooo much easier. I remember the days when I had to explain over the phone what I needed. A process which leaves many opportunities for miscommunications and therefore incorrect parts.To all at BAM, thanks again for an excellent parts source.
Awesome shop, very friendly, had a rare 2000 Mercruiser 7.4 MPI Elbow and Gaskets in stock, picked up same day after ordering online. Made 2 more purchases after that - same great experience. Highly recommended!
Called to place an order with a simple question regarding a fuel pump. Do you have a kit with the gaskets and filter screen? Guy talked to me like I was an ex wife and past due child support. What the hell I have money I want to give to your store and you tell me to go to the website? ZERO customer service. I wouldnt buy from them if they were half the price of any other store. What a bunch of jerks.
I always get my outboard parts on time and as expected from BAM. If I need help theyre always there. The website is easy to use and I can see if the parts are in stock before I order. So glad theyre here in Pompano.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. I’ve been searching for a good Mercruiser parts supplier after going back and fourth with the local suppliers and never getting good service. The prices are well below MSRP and the shipping costs are very reasonable and extremely fast. As long as their doors are open my company will buy all Mercruiser parts from BAM.

Placed an order online. Paid for 2 day shipping. I received an email that stated that they canceled the order because the product was not in stock. They stated in the email that the where going to hold the order until they heard back from me to see if I wanted to place the order from the warehouse and wait the two days. I sent them an email back on Monday the 5th at 5:38 PM EST. Heard nothing back so I called them on Tuesday morning. Left message. No one returned the call all day. Called their shop again at 4:15m EST on 10/6/15 and the guy I spoke to sounded like he didnt care at all. Told me it was my fault and that I should have put an order note on the order. I asked him if anyone read the emails or listened to the messages. No response. Take your money and spend it somewhere else. Support here is lacking.
