I recently bought a boat from The Boat Kings and wanted to share my experience.I saw the new Release 208 RX at the boat show and was very impressed with how well it was built and how much thought went into the design and attention to detail that was built into it. I decided that I wanted some custom touches put into the boat and Rich offered to order exactly what i wanted.That turned out to be the right decision and with Rich helping me with my decisions the boat turned out perfect. During the build which was very quick, the factory was very accommodating to me by letting me visit the factory and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable there as well and answered all my questions.I cant say enough about how great this boat runs and functions and how helpful all the people at The boat Kings were during this process. Richard and Tommy are both the kind of people that really care about their customers and it shows. I highly recommend Release Boats and The Boat Kings.

I work with The Boat Kings as a vendor and thats usually when you get to see the real side of a business, and there isnt anything about this dealership I wouldnt recommend. The one spot where they excel over other dealers is a consistent effort to be ahead of the trends (Digital and Technology wise. I bought a boat at Boat Kings 4 years ago and was happy with the overall experience I had. Over the years trying to get the boat serviced has been a painful experience.Normally I wouldn’t continue to return except the boat was under warranty and I wanted Starcraft to replace some parts. The last service was a hassle at best getting the boat in with no return calls and then not getting the warranty parts I needed. I was told by Rich that he would order the parts and the boat would be taken care of (it never happened). This time at the beginning of June I started the process for service mostly because of my warranty expiring in September once again no follow up from Rich. I then got in contact with Mike in service and he followed up with ordering parts and he became an excellent contact. This morning was my service appointment and for the second year in a row Boat Kings were a no show at the dock even after I confirmed the appointment 24 hours earlier. I called Rich and he said he was going to check into it and about 5 minutes later I received a phone call back. Rich told me that they were going to be over in about 30 minutes but if it took longer just tie it up and leave the keys in the bathroom. I asked why did they drop the ball once again and he told me he was very busy. I reminded him that I had a 10am appointment and he told me “With all do respect you don’t need to have service here”. He then started to raise his voice and continue on with how busy he was I told him not to raise his voice at me and then he cancelled my service. I guess after waiting 5 months to get the boat serviced I should be happy to only wait another half hour for these guys to get around to picking up my boat. Rich has a very short fuse and eventually it is going to catch up with him. I’m pretty sure the reason I have had such trouble is that he is no longer a Starcraft dealer and has no desire to follow through with the warranty.

I purchased boat this weekend from Travis and Richard. My treatment in the purchase process was exceptional. I can be a royal pain at times. I requested to have several options added. I am confident the workmanship will also be exceptional.

I bought a 2007 SeaFox 256cc from The Boat Kings about a month ago, the team did a great job taking care of all of my concerns, and worked quickly to make sure the boat was ready when scheduled. Highly recommend these guys for any boating needs. If I ever feel like upgrading I’ll be back to The Boat Kings.

Rich at The Boat Kings was a pleasure to work with. We drove all the way from Gulf Shores, AL to purchase a boat. Rich made us feel comfortable from start to finish. The Boat in person was exactly as it was advertised and was an excellent price. We will definitely purchase from him again in the future and highly reccommend!

Rich and Stella are two first class people. They go above and beyond in every way to make sure things are corrected and you are satisfied. If only everyone ran their business like them. THE BOAT KINGS ARE GREAT!!! I found a 2010 Sea Fox 216 WA on their website and reviewed all the pictures of the boat. They didnt put any of the manufacturers pics of the boat they used ACTUAL pics of the ACTUAL boat! Its a 3 hour drive from where my wife and I live and due to work we could only get there around 8pm. Rich and Stella were nice enough to meet us there @ 8pm. He took his time showing me EVERYTHING on the boat and then, although it was dark, he and Stella loaded up the boat and took us out for a sea test. When I talked to Rich about the boat before we went and looked at it he had said that the boat was in great condition, that it was like new. The pictures of the boat did not do it justice!!! He was telling the truth and then SOME!!! My bank said that they would finance 90% of the boats value. After my bank ran the NADA value they came back and said they would finance the entire asking price of the boat because the used value was over $10,000 higher than their asking price. How rare is that!!! There were few minor things that I wanted to be fixed (Im VERY Picky). RICH fixed them all and even added a spare tire and spare tire holder which I never even asked for. IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A BOAT CALL THE BOAT KINGS YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! THANK YOU RICH & STELLA FOR AN AWESOME BOAT!!! MICK & RONDA MOUNTS
