I’ve been going to the Bagel Snack since 2001! When they used to give away free marble cake for breakfast!!! Boy do I miss that homemade taste!!! Love their corn beef has!!! I always try and have it when I’m in town!!! But you have to wake up early before they run out!!!

Ordered take out the other day and it was AMAZING. We ordered two sandwiches... pastrami and tongue. Portion size was Perfect and their fries were SO GREAT! I also love how they give a nice amount of ketchup and dressings!! My new favorite place!! Will definitely be back.

Today was the first time I’ve eaten at this cozy deli/ restaurant tucked away in a plaza on Powerline Road in Pompano. Before going there I read reviews posted by patrons and was impressed by the 4 and 5 stars. So I wasn’t disappointed while eating there. My breakfast partner and I both ordered the Corned Beef Hash( home made) with eggs, home fries, toast or bagel. Very large portions to the point I couldn’t finish eating all. The hash was made with real corned beef and potatoes but was somewhat charred. The waitress said this is simply how the dish is cooked. The waitress was very friendly, talkative and made frequent visits to our table to check on us. The place also has a nice pastry selection and refrigerated counter where you can by lunch meats and a range of deli foods. The dining area was not crowded at 8:30 AM, no masks required and some social distancing. Orders also can be placed online for pick up or delivery. I absolutely recommend this place

Staff incredibly friendly and attentive. Food is unbelievably delicious. Normally pick up orders and eat at the office and I’ve never had a negative experience with packaging or quality of food. Their pickles are the best!!

This is my favorite breakfast place. The food is good, the people are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they keep the coffee coming!

Bagels are 5 star. Fresh Corned beef hash great. Omelets huge.

I often not try to pull the race card but this place is seriously not for people of color. I went to eat the Palestinian friend of mine. Just as one example: our waitress who seems to be about 90 years old skip to the table ask him what was hes drinking he said of coffee okay no problem and begin to walk away so I said to her I would like to have an Arnold Palmer sweet please she brought him his coffee and then went back and got my Arnold Palmer. LOL! Besides that there was series of things transpired that particular day but I think they realize that I recognized it and he pull it together before we left. Other than that the food was great your value was great. So enjoy!:-) :-)

Ways great service. Amazing food. Ran from Coconut Creek to get there before they closed. Stocked up on pickles and herring filets with onions and cream sauce.

Hands down the best breakfast spot in south Florida! All homemade food, clean and a super friendly staff! Big portions, fresh, and the taste of love behind every meal! To all my northern friends, head over to Bagel Snack! Reminds you of home!

I love this place. Its like stepping back in time. The wait-staff has been working there a long time. Here, everyone knows your name...as long as its sweetie, sweetheart or honey 😉. The food is good, the portion sizes are generous, the staff attentive and the atmosphere is right out of a Chicago or New York neighborhood....and the pickles and coleslaw...YUM!

Nice Salmon known as Baked here in Pompano Beach. Fresh and moist very good Corned Beef, and Turkey Breast. Good Cole Slaw and most important service by all .

Fantastic place! With the pandemic still very much a threat, Bagel Snack has taken every precaution to keep their customers and themselves safe. Clearly sanitized tables and adequate social distancing make for a very secure environment. As for the food itself, there is NOTHING here that isnt absolutely fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced food and friendly, efficient service make for a consistently excellent dining experience every time. Highly recommended!

My fellow bandmates and I in our classic rock band Raw Deal were looking for somewhere to eat before our 1st rehearsal in our new studio right there on Gateway. Not knowing what was in the area and looking for somewhere that was definitely not the IHOP there on the corner, we stumbled across Bagel Snack. We were treated like family the second we walked in the door. 2 minutes in we felt like we had known our waitress, Nancy, for years. Thats how at home they make you feel there! When she brought out 2 different kinds of pickles and 2 different kinds of slaw we knew we were in the right place. Then came pastrami sandwiches, Rubens, Rachel, corned beef hash, and the best pasta fagioli this Italian boy has ever had. See you again before rehearsal this Saturday and every Saturday!! I honestly cant give words to how much I love this place. Everyone is so sweet and remember me by name. They ask how my parents and husband are doing and remember details about my life. I came for the bagels (which are AMAZING, and their breakfast is SO good) but I keep coming back for the atmosphere. Lifetime customer right here.

Best bagels in the area. We get ours here but today I sat down for a great breakfast, under $10. Love the pan fries with grilled onions and real scrambled eggs.

The name Bagel Snack is a little deceiving since youll find a lot more than just bagels and get portions much larger than a snack.The entrance feels similar to a deli or cafe with to-go style counter. Past the entrance youll find the rest of the restaurant. A waiter will quickly come over and get you seated. The menu is plentiful with many breakfast and lunch options. Items are priced fairly reasonable and the breakfast items are still available after lunch. This place reminds me of a local version of IHOP or Dennys.I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese on a sesame bagel with a glass of orange juice. Before the food arrived the waiter brought over some complimentary items including two different kind of pickles and coleslaw (rather odd side items). I was excited about the pickles but only one of them was traditional dill, the other was a fresher, riper, green --- and wasnt pleasant. The coleslaw wasnt very traditional either, it had a sweet pickled taste and I could only eat a portion of it. The food arrived within a few minutes and was well cooked. The only complaint I have is that I ordered scrambled eggs and received fried, which completely changes the sandwich.The venue is large with many tables and booths available. This place is well suited for large groups looking to grab an early bite. While I wouldnt consider this a top option for breakfast or lunch, the solid service and variety of food makes this worth trying again.

The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The bagels are the best I have had anywhere around south florida. And the Rachel sandwich melts in your mouth. Best pastrami I have had in years and years. The place does not look like much but go for the food and service not the view.

Loved this place from the moment I walked in. Had 4 meals in 3-days...3 breakfasts and lunch. Each meal was better than the one pervious. Kind, personable, caring staff. This place is a must stop.

Great, fresh made bagels in the classic Jewish Deli settinf. We have not eaten in, so I cannot comment on that experience, but there is a large menu and a dining room that had a good volume of patrons coming and going.

I placed an ordered thru googles bentobox for breakfast. I waited two hours and hadn’t received my order so I call the restaurant. The lady that picked up the phone hung up on me twice. On the third go around the same lady said they never deliver on Saturdays, put me on hold and never came back on the phone and I didn’t get a refund. This is my first and last experience with this restaurant and google bentobox ordering.

Went to Bagel Snack last Saturday for the first time. People were friendly and accommodating. We sat down and a little too much time passed before someone came over. We were seated near the kitchen so there was a bit of a buss around us. Not relaxing. There was a wall next to our table where the employees congregated and barked orders to each other. Not relaxing. Plus they were practically breathing down our necks. It was their command station. Should have left a table in between. Then there was this annoying fly buzzing around the whole time we were there. Im thinking were there flies in the kitchen as well buzzing over food? Our food was adequate a nice portion and delicious bagels.The fly buzzing around would deter my eating here. I would come in to get a take out bagel.

Ordered to go. Phone left on the counter off the hook and I listened to the staff talk for 13 minutes. I actually drove over while the call was still connected. The lady in the photo was not only unsympathetic but was rude and blammed another lady and cared none about my inconvenience. Wish I could rate the food but I never ordered. Never again

Im originally from NY, raised in Jersey. I moved down here almost 18 years ago and this is the FIRST restaurant that Ive ordered from and FELT and TASTED NY/NJ. I frequently order the Reuben and it is the BEST. If youre looking for a delicious meal, moderately priced, and consistent.... look no further!! Only thing I wish was that they stayed open later 😂

Corned Beef sandwich! Lord Jesus! The best!

Bagel Snack is in an unassuming strip shopping center. Walking in, it has the atmosphere of a neighborhood store. People at other tables all seem to know each other. I came here because bagel is in the name, but it looks like lots more that just a bagel cafe. Its also a Jewish-style deli. I order a bagel with a shmear of flavored cream cheese, and juice and coffee. Everything excellent. My lightly toasted bagel is served with a generous scoop of cream cheese on the side of the plate, ready for me to spread it on the bagel as I like it myself.

My pops and i had the corned beef hash breakfast and i must admit this little diner is worth every penny, must come try it if your in the area. Excellent food and joannes service was second to none. Corned beef hash is made in house dont be shy!

Whenever I’m in the area for work, I make sure to stop by this place for breakfast. Both takeout and dine in options have always been amazing experiences. Bagel sandwiches are big, breakfast plates large, and the prices affordable. Today I had the pleasure of ordering Barry’s cousin and oh my! Size and flavors reminded me of hot pastrami sandwiches from NY. I’d also like to mention the good service and hospitality from these folks, 5 stars!

The smell of great fresh bagels is a favorite of mine. My family had a bagel restaurant for many years. When I opened the bag when I got home it was that same familiar wonderful smell that until now I have not found here in the south. Everyone loved the bagels and cream cheese spreads. Service was friendly and the guys at the counter are great. Also got a knish for my mom, a native New Yorker, and she really liked it.

5/15/2020This year they donated to the Pompano Beach High School Debate Teams tournament and all that I can say was that there were a lot of bagels eaten at the tournament that day. The bagels they gave us were soft on the inside be had an amazing texture on the outside. I know that I ate at least 3 or more that day. The bagels allowed our whole debate team to eat throughout the day and not have to worry about bringing our own food or being hungry throughout the day.

They charged me to toast a bagel and I haven’t been back since!

We are moving to the Palm Aire and a friend suggested we try Bagel Snack for lunch or breakfast. The restaurant is about 1 mile from our new home. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seemed to know the names of everyone in the restaurant. The menu has a typical Deli Style listing of many tempting offerings. We both ordered a Reuben Sandwich with a potato cake. Our server, Audrey, was efficient, attentive, friendly, and scurried about the place like a well-seasoned veteran in the restaurant business. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and the Reuben exceeded all expectations. We took half of the large servings home with us. We also observed food being delivered to others tables that looked delicious. We definitely will be back! Cant wait to try out their breakfast menu. The owners are really doing something right here at Bagel Snack. Kudos!

Great food... just like home!!

This is the go-to place for the entire neighborhood. If you live within close proximity to the Bagel Snack, you will certainly meet your neighbors when inside. I usually have at least 4 or more persons stop over to say hello when Im there, and I look forward to it.The food is NY Deli style, with large sandwiches and good portions. Not outrageous in size which is nice as I cant eat those giant sandwiches that other delis are so proud of. Even with that, I wind up taking some of it home.My recommendations are the Rachel or Ruben, both excellent. They also make a good chefs salad. The pastrami and corned beef are beautifully prepared, and friends who are former New Yorkers tell me that their whitefish salad is among the best anywhere. Great omelets too. A new soup every day. Highly recommended.

Amazing place! Bagel Snack has a wonderful staff and makes some of the best bagels in Pompano. They were also generous enough to make a donation to the PBHS Debate Team for an event we were holding.

My little go to breakfast/lunch spot. Ive been going here for about 2-3 years and I love it. I get it delivered to my job, my house and we even go in on weekends, pretty much love it. The Deli guys are my absolute favorite they are the first faces you see and we always have great conversations. The food is sometimes a hit or miss depending on the time of day. We usually go when its not too busy. MUST HAVES: chicken salad, corned beef hash, french fries, Barry Ruben, corned beef special. I mean those are just my favorites but everything there is fresh and great.

Potato pancakes and knishes are the best shalom

My niece and I make a mad dash a little after rush hour hoping they wouldnt run out of everything like most Caribbean restaurants. Once there, I noticed a very clean restaurant, few patrons, and an open kitchen to see your food being prepared. The interior is similar to any of your fast food chains but nicer.

Weve been going to Bagel Snack for almost 15 years as its nearby where our extended family lives in Pompano Beach. The staff know us by name even though we only visit 2x year at most. Audrey has been our waitress and greets us with a hug and knows our favorite menu items by now. The food is always delicious and an incredible value for the price. Breakfast or lunch and take out available. Its like my favorite NYC deli arrived in Florida with exactly the same kind of friendly service and familiarity one would expect from the long time family owned business. I look forward to it every time. Our Florida family are regular customers.
