The entire experience was very positive from beginning to end. Our salesman was Terry, he was superb and did a great job listening and responding to our questions. I was pleased by the service that I received for my CPO service. The lounge was comfortable and properly socially distanced. The car was properly serviced and washed. I would have scored them higher, but I waited longer than I expected. They compensated me for my wait by an offer of another service at no change. Overall, I felt that the experience was positive.

Purchased my car here and was very happy. However, the bluetooth has not worked properly on the car since I purchased it last year. I decided to bring it in for service. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment at Phil Smith Acura. Then, today I drove 45 minutes for them to tell me they have no one to service my car. No one even called to let me know. Very Unprofessional. Just got off the phone with Rick Case and they will take my car in 15 minutes. 15 minutes! Not 3 weeks.

This review is based on the dealership, not at all my 2020 Acura ILX which I love. I will start at the beginning when I bought this vehicle in June, 2020.As we know we were in the middle of a pandemic. To avoid having to spend hours in the dealership, my father called and settled on pricing upon arriving to the dealership. They were aware of the trade in value, my credit, etc. yet still we still spend four hours in the dealership. The car salesman even got in to my passenger seat next to me with no mask on, sweat dripping from his face.The car they knew we were coming for, was not even detailed upon our arrival. This meant more waiting for That to be completed.As we were leaving, the sales manager asked for a positive review. I simply smiled, because I’m usually not one to leave harsh reviews. My intention was to leave no review. Yet almost a year later, they still did me wrong, leading me to this point.I recently got notice in the mail that my license was to be suspended due to no insurance. I was still paying insurance on the car I traded in! The dealership NEVER FORWARDED MY INSURANCE TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY! And it had been 10 months! They allowed me to finance, and drive off the lot, with an UNINSURED VEHICLE!! Can it get any worse?Yes. I made multiple calls to the dealership, between calls to the insurance company to try and figure out what may have went wrong. No surprise, no one (including the sales manager) ever called me back. They made the sale, and they simply do not care about the rest.I will NEVER return to this dealership.BTW, my salesman was Chris K. So if you do try to purchase from Phil Smith, at least steer clear of him.

Really awesome service department. I called ahead of time asking for a quote to install roof rails and a crossbar on my RDX. They quoted me by the book, which was surprisingly less than half of what Miami Acura tried charging. The job ended up taking a bit longer than expected but they still happily honored the quoted price. Extremely professional staff and very pleasant waiting area. I’ll definitely be going out of my way to give them my business in the future.
If I could give Phil Smith Acura 100 starts, I would! Great experience from start to finish. I have already recommended this dealership to multiple friends and family. From the initial contact with Peter Willis, who was responsive, quick to answer my many questions and set me up with an appointment to see the car, I was hooked on this dealership. I have been looking for months for a car, speaking to different sales reps and Peter was by far the least pressuring & friendliest I had spoken to the last few months. When arriving to the dealership, Peter introduced us to Terry Harbert, who exceeded our expectations. Terry is passionate about his job and it shows through his work. Terry quickly got the car ready to go and we were on our test drive. Terry was down to earth, seemed honest and personable, which is hard to come by in a salesman these days, on top of his immense knowledge in the car we were purchasing. Terry was informative, accommodating and patient. The very next day, I received a call from Joe Perez, to work on the financing details. Joe was another great addition to this experience, as he was informative, quick to provide all of the details I needed and even sent me paperwork to fill out and submit prior to arriving, to try and speed up the process. Joe asked what I wanted to pay and got it. He was true to his word and helped relieve my financing anxiety as buying a car could be so stressful. Joe put our worries at ease. (Attn Mgmt, I feel so bad I failed to include Joe in our initial review to Acura, as it was not my intention. Joe deserves to be recognized just as much as Peter, Terry & Sam is) We returned the very next day to purchase the vehicle and we were extremely pleased to have Terry as our salesman. Sam Power was also a great addition to our already excellent experience. Sam was also patient, took the time to answer all of our questions and was very personable. Sam even offered my husband a snack, as he heard my husbands stomach growling. The entire experience felt so personal, I wasnt just a stranger buying a vehicle, as the staff made us feel welcome and it was a very comfortable environment to be in.
I had a car fully financed to buy and was on my way down for my apt 2 hours away even called before I left my house to confirm we were set to go, and they said yes. On our way down 30 min into drive go a phone call that they have a guy there now purchasing the vehicle that I had purchased the day before, and even sent them proof of money and check so they knew it was a go! We got pre-approved for financing and knew the value of our trade going in which helped speed the process along. We were still there for 3 1/2 hours but Ive sat at other dealers for much longer! WOW! When I bought the RDX 2020 and my new Iphone didnt work with apple car play, they told me to get an apple cable. I did that and when I took it back to the dealer, they couldnt fix it. Then Robert at Phil Smith Acura, said if I upgraded from a 2020 to a 2022, apple car play would work and if it didnt work they would fix it or I could return the car. ** YES you guessed it. The 2022 apple car play doesnt work. I dropped the 2022 back at the dealer. I got a call from Warren in the repair department. It cant be fixed. Now not only does apple car play not work, the phone disconnects from bluetooth without apple car play. They cant fix it and they wont take the car back. Robert said he knows its the chips that were imported that dont work. Now I have a much more expensive car payments and a worse problem. Even with the latest update on my iphone, iphone cable, latest update on the acura system from a few days ago - still doesnt work. My husbands suburu apple carplay works better than this car. #AcuraShame Never buy an Acura again. Especially not from this dealer. Acura lost someone whose is super loyal.

I have been here for 32 years and purchased several cars from different dealerships and I have never had the no hassle, non-tedious experience I had at Phil Smith Acura. I purchased my RDX in Nov. 2017 and have been back for regular service and mishap repairs and tires and accessories, etc. The team that sold me the car were awesome, I picked the car, they got the color, model, year I wanted with all the bells and whistles and the price was right! Since then, I have established a wonderful relationship with the Service Team who treat me like family, at least that is how I feel every time I visit the service department regardless of the reason for the visit. I always leave feeling like I matter to them and all my auto needs are important to them. I never feel like they are trying to sell me something I dont need, dont want and /or cant afford, they accommodate all my necessary repairs and upgrades and offer only things they know I might be interested in or need going forward. I came in because I had a battery drain and issue with my stereo not working. My drain was “fixed” though it was apparently a known problem that the hands free link causes them but I was told I had to purchase a new battery before they could even check, when all they needed to do was disconnect the hands free link. And though I purchased an electrical check and my car was held for 3 days they didn’t even check the issue I had with my stereo. $180 for an electrical inspection and didn’t even look at my stereo like I asked. Also, when I picked up my car there was a ding left on my driver door and my rear passenger taillight was broken. When I called and asked them about it I get hung up on or sent to voicemail where I left messages and don’t receive a call back. They also said they did a 50 point inspection or something like that and said I needed my filters replaced amongst $6000 worth of repairs and replacements. Funny thing is I put new filters in before my visit. So I’m sure they didn’t even check anything.
Service rep ANTHONY 10/10. Took care of an emergency situation for me when my actual dealer (not phil smith)couldnt even take a look at my car on the weekend. Gentlemen here. Ive been sitting in clean service area for hours listening to the way they are speaking to customers. Professionals.

Since 2009 we have purchased 5 Acuras at Phil Smith Acura, all of them through the outstanding service of Michael Leyden. Our most recent purchase, a 2020 Acura RDX A-Spec comes with a unique story and demonstrates how Michael has become a friend and a trusted Sales Representative.Less than a year ago, we gave our 2016 Acura TLX to our Granddaughter as her first car. Unfortunately, she had an accident on August 13 and the car was totaled. Thank goodness she was not hurt, but it meant we needed to find a solution quickly so she had transportation for school and work. We decided to give her our 2017 Acura RDX and purchase a new Acura RDX for us. Even though we moved to Tequesta, FL 4 years ago, we will only purchase our Acuras at Phil Smith and through Mr. Leyden.On Thursday, August 20, we called Michael, related the story of our Granddaughter, and inquired about a new 2021 Acura RDX. We drove down to Pompano where Michael had several new 2021 Acura RDXs waiting for our review. While reviewing the 2021 autos, Michael suggested that we look at a 2020 slightly used Acura RDX A-Spec. He indicated several attractive reasons why this particular top-of-the-line Acura would be beneficial to us, not the least of which were the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and the 0.9% financing because it was a 2020!One look at this beautiful automobile and we were sold. Michael handled the paperwork in his normal professional manner. He then spent a full hour of in-service training so we had a basic understanding of the technology in this fabulous Acura. As a result of Covid-19 concerns I decided to explore buying a new vehicle, via the internet. I communicated my purchase online, with Andrew and Phil, from the safe comfort of my living room sofa. I could have easily purchased this vehicle locally. However, I was so impressed by the professionalism and care exhibited by both Andrew and Phil, that I drove 500 miles to spend 15 minutes signing paperwork and left the dealership in my new automobile. Fantastic Service! A special shoutout to Robert Black who helped me transition from my Lexus IS to the Acura RDX. He was wonderful to work with and helped me out a lot. In fact, its been almost a month and he has followed up with me numerous times to check in and help me with any questions I have. The customer service was top notch from Robert and the Finance manager. That says a lot (especially from someone who is used to good service from Lexus). Lexus had good service but Acura (Robert) has EXCEPTIONAL service. I would recommend him to anyone! I had an excellent experience at Phil Smith Acura. I contacted them by internet regarding a vehicle they had in stock. They responded immediately and told me the car would be cleaned and sanitized for me to test drive as soon as I got there.The sales rep Robert Black met me in the parking lot as soon as I pulled up and showed me the car and then went for a test drive. Within one hour we had reached an agreement for the sale and proceeded with the paperwork.No stress, no hassle, no bait and switch just honest and pleasant.Highly recommend.
