First off it’s a really fun shop. Lots of nifty ornaments, signs, and decor. It’s a little crowded to move around in some areas, but the workers were friendly. If you want to find some nice decor and shop local I definitely recommend stopping by.

I am so glad we finally made time to go inside this darling boutique we have driven by far too many times! It has a rather “catchy” name, but beyond a clever name, when you go inside you will NOT be disappointed! They have just about anything and everything to either purchase for a special gift or to simply spoil oneself! I only wish I had more time to adventure through the entire place. The woman there was so sweet and never once mentioned that I walked in just as she was likely preparing to close. (I noticed the hours on my way out...oops). This is a place I’d recommend to all! Surprisingly, and without one request to go or an eye roll, our teenage son loved the shop and found something special to buy! I’d take a moment (or ten) to check this quaint little place out!

Great environment, friendly owners, good quality clothing for reasonable prices. This cute boutique has many adorable clothes, accessories and knickknacks. 10/10 would suggest visiting it.

I have gone in several times over the last 3 years to support and shop local. Ive never felt comfortable in the store. Owner talks poorly about the vendors, the customers, and other business owners in the area. This last visit was the last straw. I was looking at masks when another customer asked the owner about some wood ornaments. The owner told the customer, Oh I dont know when Ill have more in. This vendor is such a diva. Attached is a picture of a similar ornament to the vendors, so she can be warned that shes being spoken of this way. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

I was absolutely appalled by what I have heard and witnessed from the owner of Poky Dot boutique, I believe her name is Sue. I have overheard her saying horrible things about people when they weren’t there to hear it. I’ve heard her refer to her vendors as “divas, she has nothing nice to say about her other Old Town business owners. Shes spiteful and suspicious about her customers. Ive had several allergic reactions after going to her store, and I am severely allergic to black mold and have problems from the black mold in her store. I had hoped that maybe I was just catching her on a bad day. From what I hear, it just turns out that she is just always like that. The shop itself is cluttered, dim, and run down. The owner is one of the most unhappy people Ive ever met. I am uncomfortable in her store. Its like toxic in every way. If I could give it zero stars, I would!!!

The older lady is incredibly unhappy with her life. I say that because no human could be as rude, abusive and unprofessional as what I had witnessed. I have several other examples but I will just explain 3I have witnessed the Owner talk negatively about her staff, vendors and neighbors while they are not around to defend themselves. VERY unprofessional in my opinion.I went to her business to browse and while I was there I overheard the young girl who was working there being verbally abused and yelled at in the back end of the business. I was very uncomfortable when the business owner was being demeaning to her staff that I left.Another date I was a customer in a conjoined business. The same older woman came and proceeded to verbally assault the owner of the studio where I was a client. Unfortunately the individual vendors get to lose any of my business through you. I morally cant support a business where as a customer you are made to feel uncomfortable and upset for your staff and who has the audacity to verbally assault another small business owner in HER place of business. I would rate Poky Dot Boutique even lower but I cant and it definitely isnt the vendors fault shes so miserable.***this is MY experience and opinion. If you have any issues with it please just scroll past.

My mother in-law came in the other day and was buying a welcome sign for me and one for her. She was messaging me a picture to see which one I would like and 2 lady’s came out and told her to get the hell out and to never come back. She did NOTHING wrong all she did was taking a picture to see which one I would like! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
