Ya know for not a lot of floor space, they have packed a lot of relevant items in there! AND Im always surprised how much of it is decent quality!!! The associate that helped me was very knowledgeable and way friendly! Without hanging over my shoulder, if you get my meaning. Pretty easy to find and get in and out.

Ended up buying mens shoes since nothing in my size honestly only a couple of the womens shoes in general had an arch ir sort of an arch.Was happy when they where even cheaper than I thought once I got to the register.The guy that was helping me was very nice. Was pleased with my experience

Sell bullets and guns but nobody has knowledge of either. No holsters. Great prices for cheap gear though. Just dont expect to get your hunting/fishing questions answered. You can get licenses here. Some fishing gear for the amateur or kids. Grab the regulations current for that year and rely on them for rules or regulation questions.

Big 5 has the things Im looking for...from clothes to fishing gear.

The store was very clean .. the staff was nice and friendly helpful. We go in there to buy our knives I have never gotten a knife from anywhere .. but here. Wish they had better soccer shoes or I would not be shopping at Dicks for his cleats ( sons) other than that we like this store.

Needed some track spikes and the other guys didnt have any in the size needed, but Big 5 came through.

Keeping it real here folks. Big 5 is fine to find most of your goods. Its not over friendly and doesnt always have what we need. So I wouldnt overly recommend not would I deter you from visiting.

Its a nice sporting good store they have to compete with the big guys but hey they have good sales.

I have been uncertsin of the products at Big 5 before because I havent shopped there much. We did an emergency run late this evening because my son is leaving earlier than I realized tomorrow for snow camping. Not only did we find some great cold weather gear at good after Christmas prices, but they stayed late for us without mentioning it or grumbling about it (I thought they closed at 10, not 9:30), AND even though I said it wasnt necessary the cashier returned all the items and rung them up again so we could use a $10 off coupon that I forgot I had. I will be spending more time at Big 5 for my familys sporting and outdoor needs!

Usually Big 5 isnt the most impressive sporting goods store but really glad I went here instead of Dicks. The place was super clean and organized and more employees than customers so getting help was as easy as possible. Two thumbs up.

Good place to buy athletic shoes for kids and adults, but they do not stock mens shoes larger than 13. Employees are helpful. Frequent good sales through the year with a large selection. Many other athletic sporting goods. Nothing fishing, hunting, or gun related.

This place always has good sales and quality sports gear. Whenever I need sports gear or equipment--especially shoes--I go to Big Five first. Nine times out of ten Ive found what Ive needed and wanted. Ill be a customer here as long as they are in business.

Searched all over town, they were the only ones that had snow gear my kids needed for their skiing trip! They have a good variety of things too.

This place has some awesome sales, especially on shoes. They have a good selection on outdoor clothing, camping equipment and fishing supplies.

Big 5 used to fill a niche in Pocatello that has since been covered by other, larger sports and outdoor outlet stores.Simply put, it doesnt need to exist anymore and its staffing and inventory echo this fact. It always feels slightly understaffed and seems like theyre perpetually waiting for a truck to come in.Big 5 is where you go as a last ditch when the bigger stores dont seem to have what you need, unfortunately the odds are very good that they wont have it either.

A great place buy shoes!

Strange store. No exterior lighting. We were the only people in the store. Staff werent helpful. Asked about lacrosse gear and staff showed me an end cap with a few sticks and balls. Didnt know about pads or gloves or any girls gear. We were going to buy an item that was on a sale rack, but then was told it wasnt a sale item. Person checking us out had to get someone else to help her with that sale item issue. Tall guy carrying a rifle. Not personable at all. Then he gave me cash back instead of crediting my card. That just seems like a bad business practice. 2 stars because they had some swim suits in November.
