Had an outstanding experience at the Pleasant Hill, CA UPS Store today. I was preparing a vintage 1984 MacIntosh computer for shipping/sale on eBay. Store staffer Ritu went above and beyond in helping me.She offered helpful suggestions and options, and asked questions to help me get what I wanted. Excellent job packing my valuable vintage computer. Ritu even helped me (twice!) getting the very large, 36lb box into my car.Could not be more pleased.Highly recommended.
My first step in this store I was YELLED at to get out by an associate, Nikki. I understand its for social distancing, but my real problem was with how once I was allowed in I was ignored for several minutes. The three associstes there, continued to argue LOUDLY about picking up my boxes because they were heavy???My father and I felt very uncomfortable through all this. We just wanted to ship across states, and were given trouble.And before all this we called to ask about buying a box for a long decorative sword and were told we could only buy those kinds of boxes in bulk. They were ADAMANT that we had to buy a bulk pack. So we spent 75 dollars, only to find out we could have bought just one box!They are so poorly trained here, its like watching a chicken fight. No one knows what is going on.

I have been a customer for over a decade and the staff is nice, helpful and very accommodating to me.
They are not open Sunday’s as noted on the website!
I’ve been here a few times to do amazon reviews and every time I’ve had problems and they were not helpful AT ALL. I’ve been to other UPS stores to do free returns for amazon without a hitch. But every time I come here the Amazon free returns always seem to cost money. They are rude and not helpful. I would rather drive out of my way than come here again. Absolute waste of time.

Horrible service, incredibly slow and rude. They were with the same 2 customers for over 30minutes without even acknowledging the long line forming outside. How hard can it be to hand people their package/receipt? I could do this job in my sleep 💤 😴 😫 to top it all off some lady comes in from the back door and just cuts to the front and the employees say nothing.
I went in a few weeks ago for a notary service I had just missed. I also needed one thing printed. I was assisted by Destiny. She was very polite and didnt make me feel like a loser for only purchasing an 11 cent copy. Well done!
Cant say enough good things about Mrs. Jessica polite patient calm while we were running around with our heads cut off like chickens! She had a go get em attitude and was able to make a bad situation right! Totally customer focused and caring, Cant say any of the same for her manager. Extremely rude guy with glasses today, he was so frustrated with each and every customer of color and race he was rolling his eyes at customers who would ask him any questions he wanted customers to just know what needs to be done ahead without explaining anything and he printed my copies without even asking if I wanted them all printed when it wasn’t the right one I wanted and then the second time I told him only print one copy to see if it’s the right one and then he printed one then he also charged me for the copies he printed the wrong ones and then I told him it wasn’t my fault he said but you Have To Pay for the service I gave you, and then I said it’s rude the way you’re talking and dealing Cutomer service he kept on arguing for two straight minutes while there were customers in line to be helped which he was ignoring and was busy arguing over $1.75 . I always gone to this store but no other employees have behaved in this manner and he seemed to have problems with Customers of different race and color like me he treated differently than others
They were closed on a Sunday I needed them to be most open. My printer crapped out, needed 2 more copies made urgently. I had to go elsewhere where they were open and satisfying their customers needs. Their name will be mentioned if I review them. Their price for 2 urgent copies that I did self-serve seemed rather excessive.Moral of story: Dont just rely on fading memory, Google their hours open before leaving home. They would still be closed on a busy urgent need day (maybe the busiest for projects due Monday morning), but atleast Id not wasted my time figuring out this essential customer service was locked up.
Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and always greet you with a smile. They run their business with honesty and integrity. Their reputation is why I always come back. Business the way it was meant to be!
Charge $1 to tape a box to ship back to amazon?A roll of tape is $2 and can tape 100 boxes and the owner said t costs her .70 cents and cant operate in the red. Lol.Lets be real here. If you cant calculate your net operating income based on expenses and think you operate in the red when you tape up a box, then you are definitely making it in the green by charging $1 per box that requires 12 inches of tape.Walked out of there and made sure she didnt over charge and lose the revenue in shipping.No wonder this place barely has 3 stars on yelp.
Very, very pleased with the service and staff. Besides the usual extra shipping the holiday season demands of most of us, my granddaughters birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas. This Dec. I stopped in twice to have packages shipped and was out the door both times within 5 minutes. Friendly, professional and efficient. Just like the post office, right? Ha. An additional plus is a discount for AAA or AARP members. As long as Im living in the area, this will be my go-to place for my shipping needs.
Ron is all about customer service. The greatest!He suggested changing the format of our newsletter to be printed in booklet format and made the appropriate adjustments to print on 11x17 paper. What a huge improvement!
I would put zero stars if possible. Never gonna use ups again!!!!! They lost my package then when they finally located it they keep telling me itll be here by tomorrow at 10 am. Its been a week of tomorrow by 10. I guess my package is never gonna arrive. Worst service in history. Thanks for nothing but stress UPS
Not good for notary service. It took about an hour - from start to finish, to notarize a 2-page document with 3 individuals signatures. The gentleman spent too much time (5 minutes ?) to try to feel out the signature on one of the drivers licenses and eventually took our suggestion to put that license under a UV light for authentication. This is a clear sign of lack of knowledge and training for the service.
I locked their doors an hour before they are supposed to. Had documents I needed to overnight that will now be late. Not a big surprise from previous interactions with this location.
Terrible service.
