I love this place - even when I cant think of anything I need I swing by just to familiarize myself with all the tools that exist that make my next project easier. This particular store is well stocked, their staff is very friendly and helpful, prices are awesome of course, but you do have to choose what level of quality you need. I have some projects for which I need a tool only once, or the job is so abusive on the tool, Im not planning on spending much on a quality one. Other times you want to go for quality brands that come with extended warranty and last you a long time. I know Ill be back - glad we have a store close to our home.

The hayward store told me that the pleasant hill store had a product that I needed and when I show up at the Pleasant hill the did not. Drove 35 minutes and was not happy with the drive especially with price of gas. 😪😪

I love Harbor freight. I wish we had one near me LoL. Maybe its better this way I dont always have money to spare so when I do go I can count on the prices being low and I have something to look forward to going to Harbor freight. They just have different things than home Depot or Lowes or even a hardware store things like two-stroke motors four-stroke motors machining tools in smaller sizes are just fantastic and the ideas I get from Harbor freight. Maybe one day Im going to invest in a few things to have here. Thanks

Have you ever gone on Alibaba and looked at the ridiculous low prices for products and machines that resemble your known brands? I have, but you hand to buy in bulk so I never do it. These guys are the equivalent of a local Alibaba outlet with low prices on hand tools and accessories for most trades. I use them for drill bits and chisels and clamps and saw blades and sand paper mostly, but you can get low prices on all kinds of things. I will often just buy a tool I only need to use once or twice here instead of renting it because the prices are equivalent.

Always buy my tarps here. The staff are helpful but a little slow.

Many years ago the tools were not as good of a quality as they are now. No the quality is not Craftsman but you can get tools for cheap.

They might not be HIGH end merchandise retailers. But the price is always right and there is always helpful employees to help find what youre looking for. It would be nice if they extend their hours of operation. Just sayin...

Although their high-end or pro-level lines of tools are quite comparable to other quality brands, youre in a discount hardware store. If you use any tool beyond its capabilities, expect it to fail.Most consumers dont need a $100 drill or $200 saw. They want something thatll get their jobs around the house done effectively and cost efficiently. And if you pros are expecting to make a living using the Harbor Freight house brands of tools, maybe theres a reason why youre needing to buy the cheaper tools.For most needs, Harbor Freight sells quality products, good selection and sizes, has the unusual stuff other places dont, all at prices that are distinctively low. Just dont abuse the tool, and youll be happy with its performance... And never buy their alkaline batteries at any price point. Theyre the worst.

All of the employees were very helpful! They have a great selection and I was able to obtain a compact ladder for my new job, that I was looking for. Also all the rest of my tools necessary to start my job.

Down on the side of the freeway Harbor Freight came through in the clutch for the floor jack and it was a great price cashier was very helpful told me exactly where to grab it and I like the fact that I was on sale

Long lines but once 2 of the 3 employees finished signing someone up for a credit card it went a lot faster. Decent tools for cheap.

Usually this store is busy, but well stocked. It seemed a lot more crowded than usual and the stock level was low. Staff was very helpful, even more than usual.

Staff was friendly helpful yet didnt bug you a lot and Im always surprised at what they have whatever kind of project youre doing they have a tool for you to finish it at a very affordable price this is a wonderful type of business to have opened not everybody can afford brand new brand name tools until they come here and get started with what they can afford at the time so DeWalt should really think harbor freight because people wouldnt buy DeWalt tools without harbor freight supplying what they need to get their business rolling from my experience

They are usually stocked very well. But today they were busy, and they were out of both items I was looking for. I was even told someone else just came in looking for the same item. Service was still really good tho. Id say they need to tell corporate to stock up more oftem, to meet demand.

I joined the ITC a while back and whenever I go to this location the things I want are sold out. In fact the main things I go there for (sale items/ITC items) are always sold out.The reason is always the same,truck will be here later this week, check back thenIts a bit of a drive from where I am so it is often a waste of time. Most of the employees are okay and I like the store in general but this location...call first if youre going in for something specific.

Terrible experience the line was so long when I asked an associate if they could open another register they said someone called off. So my first thought is all the customers have to pay the price and sacrifice because one person didnt make it to work doesnt make any sense other associates are running around the store when they should be ringing a register. I asked the manager could you open another register said I have all the available cashiers working only two registers open and total of four registers available terrible customer service

The staff is attentive and honest! I was looking for a specific bolt and Harbor Freight Tools was the closest area. Unfortunately for me they sell their bolts & screws in variety packs. I asked help from one of the managers. Mr. Lee told me where I could find the exact bolt and what to look for! I end up driving to that place and found it! Most places would say we don’t have it and sent you away, but at this store the staff is knowledgeable and will help you to find a solution.Overall Harbor Freight is a good place to buy affordable tools, especially if you are planning to use it once in a great while. Its cheaper than renting.

Delightful! returning an item was made easy

Very nice people. Good value for the price, but some tools break before you use them. Others are very good quality. The $40 electric chain saw is incredible value as are many of their other tools.

Didnt have what I needed but had a good deal on a package of face masks.

Harbor Freight Tools has a myriad of tools and other items. It surprised me to find garden tools among all the others.They also have non-related items. I found the battery run flip light that Ive seen on TV. It was just as bright as they said and the battery compartment is easy to get to. I was able to put it on the wall in a closet anid now its so easy to see in the closet.I went there for one thing and left with it, a garden tool and 2 flip lights. Trip well worth the time and gas.

Mostly great place. Some of the help English was not the first language. Sometimes its hard to get across questions you might have and get a answer that makes any sense to what you were asking. In all Id still go back.

The first time I came here by myself I couldnt find what I was looking for, but I was able to ask an employee about the item (plastic dolly) and she was able to get me the amount that I needed. Yesterday I went there looking for something specific and was able to find it by myself due to the last time I was there and familiarized myself and was able to check out quickly.

Its harbor freight, always a wait to check out. Tool quality is not high but if you are shopping here than you should know. I do get tired of the cashiers trying to get my phone number. If I say no then stop asking.

I like this place a lot..Can always find numerous things I simply must have at very good prices. I have had good luck with the power tools..even though they are very very reasonably priced.Only complaint is the lack of sales people to assist..help locate merchandise..answer even basic questions on products offered.

Value priced tools that last, whats not to like. Everything you need is always available and in stock. Pricing is great and there is always a sale or coupon that makes everything cheaper still. Quality wise, everything purchased seems to be lasting just as long as name brand tools.

This location is one of my favorites. Harbor Freight has cheaper prices on tools and such than other hardware store. Most of the time you get a good deal and its worth it...other times you get what you pay for and the tool doesnt long. (even then its nice to have a place to get tools for a one time job and not have to spend an astronomical amount of money). The line in this location are long but over all great location with very friendly staff!

Great place, good prices, helpful manager. Easy parking and return policy is generous. I go here before other stores. May not be best if you are in professions that require heavy duty and constant use tools but definitely saves money for basic home owners.

The one I went to is excellent everybody a super helpful because the one off of Hillcrest is really really not so good theres only teenagers working there and they dont know their head from you know what. So this one was excellent !!!
