After a 2 & 1/2 drive i stopped to pee.... Waited 10 minutes... The people wouldnt come out. There were 3 people in line behind me. Talking about how sounded like they were taking a shower or making a water mess as we heard the water on for such a while. I didnt stick around.

Disappointed can not even get cinnamon vanilla coffee creamer anymore and forget yassos ice cream.. shelves are sparse.

This is a very nice Safeway. Its large, well-organized and they have good produce. They also have a gas station and its right next to the Nordstrom Rack. Win win.

I feel that I know most of the staff at Safeway now. I am in here a handful of times a week. Employee Bob at self check out is always so cheerful and helpful and smiles for everyone he meets. It is amazing how many item codes that he knows. I think he knows the whole store.

Have stopped carrying some of the brand foods I like or even coffee creamer flavors I like. Have asked them why and was told they take what they are given????....for over a year now? Most stores are trying to bring in their own brands, I understand that; but to take out the good old brands that make certain dishes taste best seems to be a bit much. Any way now I have to shop all over for certain foods or look into ordering.Also if you have questions the employees direct you to the front corner of the store to ring bell and wait....good luck.

Absolutely horrible service in the deli. Not a soul in sight to help me for the 10 minutes I stood there shortly before noon today. I was given no apology for the long wait either when help finally arrived.

This location is the largest Ive been to in the Bay Area. Neat and clean, just about everything you can think of on the shelves, and friendly staff. This location also has a gas station and a Nordstrom Rack right next door. This Safeway location would be my go to, but I dont live near enough.

Nina from the deli was so nice and love the way she dose the breakfast burrito definitely coming back to Safeway and the deli for an amazing service thanks.

Terrible costumer service, waited over 10 minutes at the deli. When I got there associate was halfway done making the only other costumer sandwich. He charged them and hopped over to assist a girl at the sushi are who seemed confuse and had just gotten there. Wow. When I was finally asked how I could be helped by another associate the one associate that was originally there all of a sudden was free and ready for the next costumer . As I proceeded to order my California dreaming I was told they only had cheddar roll and bacon couldnt be warmed because they served it cold . What !? I thanked them and said thanks Im okay and left . I refuse to spend my hard earned money were its clear that employees give 0 hoots.

Seemed nice enough. Bathroom was very dirty. Prices for meats are high. Thank you Biden. They are running some good deals for Safeway.

These rats in the store just wont stop following me around and harassing me. I told them Safeway doesnt carry dog meat... they just dont listen. Enough footage for a harassment lawsuit. Well see where this goes...

This Safeway is one of the newer Safeways and it has been maintained well since being opened. There is always a Safeway employee around to ask for help and produce is stocked very well.

Really like the ordering ahead and picking up, just wish that the inventory matched because sometimes I plan dinner and they dont have all the ingredients and I dont find out until I get home. Always make a backup plan👍

This rating is for the deli. Wonderful fast service from the young man working the counter (Dominic), and my order was correct! We love the fresh chicken tenders, and the many deli salad options.

I love this Safeway! Its huge and has a lot of extra things other safeways font have, delicious deli, big variety. Very clean. Many people are working which is great, because lines are not long as a result. I absolutely love going here. It even has asian food deli. Meat and fish wections are huge! Thank you for this store. I wish there were more of them like this one. Small Safeways suck!

Its fine. Prices are ok and it is in general clean. Mostly its the long checkout lines that admit me here. Otherwise its good. But the in store Starbucks is also a positive.

The floor layout was a little confusing at first but the night staff was very helpful. I call out excellent service when I see it and Jade, one of the night staff, was very friendly and helpful. I like there floor layout and how they put the healthy foods up front!

If you end up needing something late at night dont bother after 1:30 am near their 2am closing time. Showed up at 1:46am to find their doors locked early

We stopped to purchase some groceries while passing through the area in our 60ft motorhome and tow vehicle. We were barely stopped for two minutes when someone knocked on our door. We opened the door to a security guard who quickly told us that Safeway doesnt allow RV parking. We would have to go down the road and park at the abandoned JC Penney just past where the pavement color changes. If youre in an RV and are looking for groceries go somewhere else. This Safeway definitely doesnt want your business.

The deli’s chicken & potato wedges don’t taste fresh there is a strong after taste as if the food has been fried in old oil.

Best safeway around in my opinion

Theres an older gentleman thats always working this store in the late evenings and he is awesome. He helps everybody and definitely helps make this Safeways one of the best in terms of customer service. The gas station (with the lowest prices in town) also is a big plus.

Had to come here for my fix at Starbucks and my friend found his favorite chips he had been looking for everywhere.

Its a Safeway. Layout is fine. The hispanic isle is very minimal. Took ages to find dried chilies (they are stand alone by the fresh produce by the way). They had just about everything, but seemed to be very little supply of a lot of things. Could just be that its been busy. Overall it was fine.

The Walnut Creek Safeways dont carry enough options. Very basic which is possibly the demographics. Need to go to multiple stores; Trader Joes, Sprouts or last resort Whole Foods to obtain all the items on my list.

Came here looking for a specific seltzer, but it turns out they didnt even have it. Ordered sandwiches at the deli and they were ok. Odd that the sandwich maker didnt ask if I wanted lettuce and tomatoes on it. Usually has everything Im looking for. Great selection of soup because this is one of the larger Safeways around.

The orders are on time, the shopping ie easy, and if theres a coupon it automatically shows next to the item. It more than makes up for the $15 monthly delivery fee.

I stopped to get fried chicken. It is the worst fried chicken. Pay for a really old and burned chicken.

One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had as a long time shopper. Maria/Marie at the customer service desk was dismissive and flat out lied to me about policy, and then said under her breath, thinking I would hear...I cant wait until we close down.

1st time in this store, just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to see if they had anything different..meal and deli section was nicely managed but not a large selection very open floor plan compared to some of the others.. must have caught them after a rush, some sections were bare and needed to be stocked..

The service here is excellent. Each associate is able to help find items and is very courteous. It always seems like theyre out of one specific item Im looking for and that changes every time. Theyll usually have an alternative. Their delivery and curbside dropoff is awesome and their delivery staff are also super helpful.

Like most in Bay Area, we are spoiled with great supermarkets. I like this safeway because its busy. Lots of turnover, so bread and veggies are constantly being replenished with fresh ones. Friendly staff. Hi Bob. Only issue is the parking. Gas station and the nearby Nordstrom Rack coupled with one way section causes ire for those unaccustomed. But this is a very small, small burden.

The sandwich makers at this location are the slowest in the history of putting meat on bread. If they got any slower the bread would mold between the mayonnaise and the lettuce going on the sammich.

The fried chicken. Was like salty jerky.However I do like their freshly made sushi for lunch.

Went to pickup my online order. Not the best experience but we got it rectified. They have great employees that work well with difficult people. I know that I was difficult that day.

Overall Safeway is a good supermarket, this one has an odd layout. The parking here is mediocre, but it did have a gas station attached.

The pharmacy is supposed to be open till 5pm, I arrive at 4:10pm to pick up a prescription and theyre closed.
