Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. They have a wide variety of feed in various sizes so its really convenient to get the amount you are looking for. They also had live broiler chicks that were well labeled and truthful and kept in healthy, comfortable conditions.They even offered to help me carry my bag to my car! How wholesome is that?

I am just coming back from the shop in Dublin and had a terrible experience. I was buying 2 Behlen Country 224 Galvanized Round End Stock Tank from them.First, they told me to go pay and then I can get them. Once I paid and they handed me over the 2 tanks, I realized that both of them looked really used. They both had deep dents in them and scratches everywhere. I really needed them today, so I asked if they can offer me some discount because of the conditions they are in. The response was: Well, I could give you 6 or 7 bucks if that helps. On 2 tanks for 270 dollars, a 14 dollars discount, that is not more than 5 %. I will call the store manager on Tuesday but really wanted to share that experience. I get chicken feed, dog food, and straw here regularly and it always goes smoothly. Every chick Ive bought here has been healthy but last time they gave me two that were the wrong breed and they dont accept returns of live animals. Still a great place, just remember to double check your chicks before you leave the store.

Weve been a satisfied customer for years, until today. We picked up a few Turkey Poults from the Pleasant Hill location yesterday. We didnt get to pick them ourselves due to covid, so they picked them and put them in the box. When we got home, it was obvious one was on the fritz and even with our efforts it passed. Called to see if they would do a same-day exchange, nope. Please let people choose their animals, so this is avoided in the future.

Excellent customer service. The best in quality chicks, animal feed &hay. Easy parking, but the best part is that it is just a fun outing. I live to go and view their beautiful coy fish and garden displays. Wonderful items for my cat and their birds ( for sale) are so beautiful! I could spend a whole day there! Would not go here any more. The starf is very rude and bossy. She did not let us choose our chicks and said (without a mask ) everyone is the same. She gave us ill chicks. The worst, She threaten us to buy the lamp and coop, saying if not, she will not sell the chicks. I have never met such kind nonsense sellers in the bay area.

Friendly business. Enjoy the selection and as a father of a 3 year old potty training the fact they have a large and very clean bathroom was surprising. Weird but I judge a business a lot by how clean they keep thier bathrooms. If you can commit to keeping your restrooms respectful for your clients, then you really do care about making your clients comfortable. The little things matter. Well done.

We love Concord Feed for our rabbit supplies. They have a huge assortment of food and supplies for house pets and large animals. In the spring, they carry a few varieties of chicks. Walk through the store and out the back door and they have pond supplies, plants, and fish. The Clayton Road location is smaller with limited supplies, but also has live crickets. Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great place! Kind staff, good prices. I buy lots of great horse supplies there from brushes to bits. Concord Feed has everything I need for my horse. I have probably bought more than half of my items from Concord Feed. They are very trust worthy for horse feed and supplements. I buy my Mare Magic, grain, and treats from Concord Feed and my horse loves it all. I just wish the horse section had a bit of a wider variety but overall everything is awesome!

We got some fish, but unfortunately they all died.

Great selection of food and other items for pets, horses and barnyard friends. Staff here is very helpful, but may be a little standoffish. One of the cashiers with a horse of her own will have fun chatting with you about your pets, answer any questions you may have, and help you load your purchases. They carry Scratch and Peck, not to be found in the stores near me.

They also carry Breyer collectibles, apparel, other livestock needs, ranch accessories, dog and cat food, toys, and accessories, and koi pond supplies. Fun place!

Its a fantastic place to browse... A real throwback to when the Diablo Valley was a true agricultural area for the rest of the Bay Area. I go there to buy my dog and cat food because I really enjoy giving them business. And if you are one of the people that owns a horse in the hills around here thats probably where you already go

Love this place! Everyone is helpful and know all the products. Im a teacher with lots of pets in the classroom. I was buying 8 pound bags of Timothy for our 5 guinea pigs. One of theemployees suggested I buy a bale instead of bags for a few more dollars but would last much longer. She was so right. The bale lasted months. I just went back to get another today. Ive been coming here for years and always had a great experience. The staff even helpful with an outside job and still were reasonably priced. The hay that I get is always fresh (I have gotten moldy hay from other locations) and clean from weeds and unnecessary junk. Checking out is always fast me browsing takes most of the time even though I know every aisles. I do wish they carried Lollyplops cookies for horses then I can truly make it a one stop shop..

The staff is just trying to go out of their way to outdo themselves in terrible interactions.Came in looking for fresh hay.Asked them about the hay out front, and it was a HUGE deal to them.It comes from a farm. It could be months old, could be years, I dont know. I dont know what to tell you (rude tone)I would keep driving if you see this place, unless you have no other options 🤷‍♂️

These guys are helpful and knowledgeable. If they dont have what you need you probably dont need it. One of my favorite time of year is spring when the chicks arrive. I have a dog and this is the place I go for food, treats, leashes, collars and bedding.
